Snapchat don't work on my Z5 Rooted - Xperia Z5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
Since my phone is rooted and flashed, I can't use Snapchat, all logins attemps failed. I have tested to disable SuperSU and XPosed but I can't perform to login into, I have reset 3 times my password (email confirmation received) but nothing happened.
Have you a fix for me to solve this problem?
My kernel: Stock Kernel modified to recovery and drm keep
My recovery: TWRP 3.0.2
My ROM: SlimX
Thanks.:good:

Try this : if you don't mind setting up everything again, just reflash rom and do factory reset, then log into snapchat, then root and do titanium backup for the next time, and now install xposed and do whatever you want.

I had the same issue with the same Rom (before I switch to SlimX) , don't worry it does not come from the flashing process or the Rom ect..
Actually it come from snapchat who won't let you log if you're phone is rooted (it detect it somehow and block it)
To solve it, you need to totally uninstall root binaries (not disable, it won't work, you need to UNINSTALL it , check supersu app parameters)
Onece it's uninstalled reboot, go to snap log yourself and don't touch it anymore
Turn off, reflash the su binaries via TWRP and voil

Thank you, it's work !

[Q] CWM Recovery question

I'm S-off, CWM, SuperSU, no ROM just stock with a couple of addons like the browser.
Did a factory reset from CWM and now whenever I reboot from CWM I get this message "Root access possibly lost. Fix?" Anyone know what this could mean? I googled it and found a few ideas, I tried disabling then re-enabling SuperSU, I reinstalled SuperSU through CWM, but I keep getting the same message and I've tried both No and Yes and it doesn't seem to make a difference. Should I try and uninstall SuperSU then re-flash it?
Everything seems to work OK, but I'm just curious.
Thanks

OP1: messed up with Non-Clean CM13 Update and Superuser problems

Hi Guys,
Yesterday I updated to CM13 Nightly without wiping and doing it right, because I do have a very customized UI and didn't want to lose, since the backups doesn't keep everything inthe right place (at least for me!)
ANYWAY I installed CM13 and booted the system, everything was OK, but the phone appeared not be rooted, well I needed to reflash the SU binary, so I did, but in superexcited manner, got an old version (1,51 ) and apparently it has messed everything up… Now the phone is still not rooted, all the Apps close frequently, Superuser Access Management doesn't work, I can't even remove it (only deactivate), I tried to flash the UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip too, it made my phone hang in CM Logo·…I can literally boot the TWRP Recovery and Wipe everything and make a tidy install but I DON'T WANT! I'D RATHER TO REPAIR !
What are your certain solutions? please reply If you KNOW how to FIX such cases… No randomly try this try that, Thank you all!
Summary:
Oneplus One: CM12.1 dirty update → CM13/ Superuser/root access has been overwritten/damaged
First attempt made me install an older su binary v1.51 (don't know why!) and it is stuck into my system, doesn't let to uninstall or update (from apps manager/Play Store)
Reflashed the current version (su 2.45) and can't boot up (CM logo)
Can reboot recovery / Don't want to Wipe
Did you flash v6.0 gapps immediately after flashing the ROM?
You're not supposed to flash SuperSU with MM, it comes fully prerooted.

yes I did, but Superuser (#) needed to update and it couldn't neither normal nor in recovery, so i downloaded the latest binary and flashed it manually… but they seem not matching probably
Simple answer - clean flash and start again, with no SU and the correct gapps.

you can temporary disable root or permanently unroot your device right from SuperSU settings.

i tried by clicking full unroot option but it says failed
Do you have a twrp backup from prior to rooting, if so restore only system and boot, wipe caches and reboot.

snap chat fix?

Hi can someone please help me out. Last night i had to reflash the rom for some reason my phone kept on shutting off and rebooting on its own, so i reflashed the rom and its working fine again, the problem i'm having is i cant log into my snapchat again. i had the same issue when i first flashed the rom and was instructed to use "suhide-gui" and back then it worked. I tried the same method again and its not working now. Is there a fix for this? I've been using Jovy's Darthstalker Rom btw.
snapchat fix
there is only one method that works for sure and it's pretty painful.
1) You have to reflash fully stock (no su, root etc) than download snapchat, login.
2) After doing so, flash rom without wiping anything
3) let it reboot it should work.
Extra info
If you want to wipe everything and flash other rom and use titanium backup. Copy the file TB somewhere else (computer), flash rom, wipe everything and once booted etc... than using tb bring back snapchat data

[Q] Deleted SuperSU

I have a Shield Tablet K1 running LineageOS 14.1 9/1 update(very nice) and cannot get TiBU to run keeps crapping out "Titanium Backup has stopped". Not sure why i did it but i deleted SuperSU.
Tried flashing Supersu (UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.82-20170528234214) from TWRP and it installs correctly but still no supersu app. Tried flashing again after wiping caches no help.
Also which version of the supersu should we flash the 32 or 64 bit?
Ultimately trying to get TiBu running again to restore and app & data. Also cannot get Helium to work stuck in "Checking Superuser".
I have been able to verify that i have root via TWRP and FX File explore.
Thanks for the help in advance.
You can download and install the SuperSU application and run it. Go into the settings and select "install SuperSU as a system app". That should do it. You can also switch to magisk which works just as well.
Dirty flash Lineage and start over (flash SuperSU again). Things can get a little quirky when trying to re-flash root to a device that is already rooted. Try Magisk for that matter. It tends to give less problems than SuperSU. I migrated to Magisk a year or so ago, an haven't looked back.
I went ahead and reflashed everything and started from scratch. Working correctly now.
Thanks for the replies!
