How can I save SMS messages to storage card?
Do I need to modify registry? Or any tweak program changing SMS storing location to my SD card?

Sorry, you mis-understood my question. I want to ask if I can change registry to let all SMS messages automatically save onto SD card instead of RAM of PDA.
Of course using backup program can backup all the files into storage card.
Thanks.
I think its not possible... It was already set to default that it would save to /windows/messaging/

Therefore I asked if there is any registry entry defining the path of saving SMS. I believe this is possible.
Any news about this question?
I'm needing something like this.

u can save the messeges by downloadng the software. i think its called the SMSBACKUP
it will save ur messages in 1 file. then save the file in to ur mem card. so then if u format ur phone. just install the software and restore the file then u get the messages back. that;'s its

Hi there,
I make it simply with PIMbackup (free) and offcourse I chose to store in SD card. All contacts, SMS, Calendar note... are stored.
You can search it in this forum:

Hello
I've noticed that OneNote Mobile saves the notes to the internal which I don't like. I want my notes to survive a hard reset so I wonder if anyone can recommend a notes program that automatically will save notes to the SD card instead of the internal memory?

Have a look at agile notes http://www.agilitylab.com/ it's free and lets you set whatever location you want as your default "home" folder
on my last WM phone I had an app called Phatnotes where you could create a note and add links to documents on your SD card. The closest android app I can find is evernote but that doesnt allow links to documents on your card. Anyone know of an app that does links to documents on your sd card ?
i use springpad for my notes taking... check it out, it,s free
I went on the camera app and set the pictures to go to my sd card but they end up just going into my internal memory. I already sent most of them to the sd card. Is there a way to automate this process? If i send all of my pictures to SD card is there a way to quick view them? Like will it appear on the photo album or google pictures app?
I have a Pictures folder in the root of my SD card. By default several apps created their own folder in Pictures and save their photos in that folder.
If I move the Pictures folder to my SD card what will happen? Will the apps find their folder on the SD card and keep using it? Or will a new Pictures folder be created on internal storage and fragment my app data?
In that latter case, I assume that the app would only see the photos in the newly generated folder and not see any of the photos I moved to the SD card. Is that right?
