[Q] No Data Roaming

For some reason my Sensation 4G(TMO-US) won't data roam on AT&T network. Any ideas?
Here's the current situation... 2g is all I can get at home. My 2g icon is showing but NOTHING that requires data will work. I'm roaming on AT&T because I'm outside the city, and voice and text work just fine but when I check my data roaming via *#*#4636#*#* it says not roaming. YES I HAVE DATA ROAMING ENABLED. My gf has the Exhibit 4g and has no issues... When I put her SIM into my phone data works just fine. I've called T-mobile and they claim our phone settings are identical and data roaming is enabled on their end for my SIM but when i put my SIM into her phone it won't connect to 2g. I've removed the battery and SIM, toggled ciphering, had then rebroadcast my number and still nothing. AND YES it's a new SIM card, actually the 2nd one and Tmobile 4g and 2g work just fine as well when I'm in their service area. Any help would be appreciated since T-mobile doesn't see this as a big enough problem. Can I somehow enter an APN for ATT? I'm really out of ideas.

I have the same issue did you ever find a solution?

Tmobile had to have a tech rebuild my profile for their network. Took about a week or so. Everything has been fine since.

Can't connect to 4G [SOLVED]

Hi all,
I got my Mate 7 (LT-09, european version, 2gb black version, stock 4.4) about a month ago. I'm from Czech republic, so at first I thought that it can't connect to 4G just because of low 4G signal. However, I study in Edinburgh where the 4G signal should be good (my friends connect to it with no problem), but my phone still doesn't connect to 4G. I have a 4G sim card, 4G giffgaff (virtual O2 operator) goodybag, so everything should be working. But, I can only connect to H+.
Also, when I try to register to a network, I can see three options - O2 2G, O2 3G, and O2 4G, however, when I click on the O2 4G, I get an error message saying "couldn't connect to the network, choose automaticaly?"
Does anyone have a similar issue? I'm really getting desperate.

sometimes u got to set the right apn.i got ultra mobile with t mobile net work.the apn that the sim card has is only for 3g or h+.i got to maually set the apn ,after that i got 4g lte all the time

Thank you for your anwer! I had the right settings (at least I think so), but I was so desperate that I upgraded to android 5.1.1. There it didn't work as well, but after I updated the apn I got 4G! So it was probably just bad APN settings. Thank you so much, didn't realize that could be a problem.

what apn did you use , i have fast.t-mobile.com, all i get is 3g or H+ i already set it to WCDMA only for preferred network type

I used the settings from giffgaff.com website, so I suppose you should get yours at your regional t-mobile website. Just make sure that you're using the correct one, as there can be defferent apn settings for 3g and 4g (that's what happened to me, and that's why I didn't realise it was an apn problem). Hope this helps.

India airtel 4g network problem on opo(chinese) brought from aliexpress

Hii Freinds,
I am facing strange problem, whenever i insert airtel 4g sim, I am not able to make call and if some calls me back get not reachable error
but 4g data service is working fine. BUT IF INSERT SAME SIM IN OTHER 4g COMPATIBLE handset call and data is working smoothly.
3g and 2g network working flawlessly.
is there any solution for the same?????????????

HTC One A9 From Sprint unlocked but wont get data connection

it will recognise my sim and get the network signal,I will be able to do calls and send messages.
With one sim card after setting the apn I will get even 4g LTE ,with another carrier with the same bands and coverage on my country won't get data connection.
Any idea ??everything else works fine

Jio on One E8(m8sd)

Getting jio signal but not registering on network
"Your sim doesn't allow connection to this network "
I installed HTC phone.apk (v 8) from apk mirror..
(By installing this I lost control over second sim but got option to select LTE in menu )
And settings (v8) from apk mirror ..
I was using reliance 4g sim ..(not jio)
After searching networks manually
I got jio but didn't got register
Any help
Will I get jio network if I use jio sim instead of reliance

I installed HTC phone apk v8
Restarted phone
And selected GSM/WCDMA/LTE in mobile network
I got jio network (not registered though)
Now I got jio sim but I'm not getting network..
Really pissed off
I think there is some kind of lock protecting to get 4g on this
HTC messed up with CDMA and LTE
Because when u select LTE only it switches slot to CDMA and we cannot scan network manually
Modding phone apk to disable CDMA may work I guess

Anybody got success in running Jio on HTC E8 Dual Sim?

Tried alot to get jio sim working.. Got the sim generating bar code somehow many tricks are given, sim is activated already got the message on registered number,but still unable to get any signal for JIO, Thing is HTC has done such cruelty by locking the 4G LTE, dnt know why they do it.. Same thing with my Sony Xperia ZL, In India they lock the 4G, WTF why they do it !?

Business man ...
And We got bad luck ...
No 4g and No developers for this phone to solve this issue
I would have believed HTC that phone is 3g only as they are saying ...but I got jio network once accidentally by procedure mention above

Any success with Jio 4G on HTC One E8?
