[Completed] Huawei P8 Lite stuck on Rescue Mode - XDA Assist

Hi to all. I was rooting my P8 Lite and something went wrong with the script i was using (i was connected to the phone via adb).
Firstly i got stuck into the huawei start logo, so i tried to flash update.app, boot.img, recovery, img and system.img (actually not, cause every system.img inside the UPDATE.APP file that i find on the web is corrupted, i don't know). I tried flashing various different boot.img etc... until i got stuck to the Rescue Mode (i kept flashing the files because nothing seemed happen: i was getting stuck on the logo over and over again, without any changes).
Now i'm stuck in Rescue Mode with the two errors:
1. Func NO: 10 (boot image);
2. Error NO: 2 (load failed!).
Two days ago i could still access to the FASTBOOT & RESCUE MODE pressing vol down + power button, i tried flashing some other images and also i tried to update via SD card, so adb and fastboot were able to do their work (but i didn't found where i can update via UPDATE.APP with the SD card).
After that i left the phone in a drawer for two days because i hadn't time to fix it, so it uncharged completely its battery (battery charge=0%).
Today i took it and i tried to charge it up but it didn't... i left it under charge for like 3 hours and it was still unloaded. In this screen i'm stuck now i tried all the possible combinations of buttons, but i even get stuck at this Rescue Mode (it restarts and i got stuck again in it, nothing really happens).
For making the situation even worse when i try to connect the phone to the pc (running w10) via usb cable it doesn't even recognize it, so i can't do anything with adb/fastboot.

[Q] D838 brick, cant tell if soft or hard

i tried installing a custom rom on my g pro 2 but eventually the device got some errors. i tried to restart but the phone wouldnt start. it boots to LG logo (not moving) and blank screen and same thing over and over again. so i tried to go for download mode, which is half gone. when i plug the phone into download mode, the first screen comes out, download mode. then screen goes blank and nothing else. my pc doesnt detect anymore, it just shows an unknown usb bulk device and 8 usb drives pop up.
i tried factory reset too but nothing. stays erasing forever.
i have the KDZ File already and the flashing tool. i just don't know how to flash it like this.
solved

H60-L12 softbrick help !!!

Hi guys,
as it has been almost a week I am trying to fix my phone, I am running out of ideas and asking you for help !
As I mentioned about a week ago without a reason my phone has shut down ( it was used as a gps on google maps and was a bit hot).
Since the it was stuck on on huawei logo and restart over and over(boot loop).
I started with factory data and reset, which went smothly i guess(it has changed language to Chinese) but didn't help to start the phone.
I have tried then to flash stock rom( tried 3 i have found ) from memory card in dload folder. Phone will only start updating when usb cable is in - without it wont, and keep flashing logo and restart.
Unfortunately none of the roms installed properly, all hang up on nearly end(98-99) %.
I tried to follow procedure then with Honor Multi Tool - after extracting images BOOT, CUST, RECOVERY, SYSTEM tried to upload them to my phone, but cannot write anything on the phone, which brought me to FASTBOOT& RESCUE MODE, which I am able to turn on, but it says my phone is LOCKED and until is unlocked I am stuck...
I went to HUAWEI website to apply for unlocking code, but among IMEI and SN there is also needed Product ID which you can obtain by sending a code in your phone. since I cannot turn my phone on, I cannot get my Product ID...
I have emailed huawei regarding this, but without luck.
The battery is fine and charging to 100%.
Android 4.4 with Emotion UI 2.3.
Can anyone please HELP..!!!
Follow this procedure to flash official Stock firmware package:
Download your phone firmware on which you were previously on.
Boot into bootloader mode by switching off the phone then pressing only the Vol DOWN button, and connecting it to PC simultaneously.
After doing this put the UPDATE.APP in dload folder of your external SDCARD.
Switch off your phone, and press Vol UP + Vol DOWN + Power button simultaneously.
Your device will now get to the full stock firmware.

Rebranding Mate 9, black screen during system update, no bootloader/recovery

Hello,
Got a new Mate 9, and wanted to follow this guide to rebrand my phone from C34 to C636. I unlocked my phone and replaced oeminfo as per guide without major issues. However, after I copied the stock firmware to SD card and updated, the process completed normally to 100%, then the phone went completely black.
Currently, I can turn it on/off via buttons (hearing connect/disconnect sounds in windows), it shows up in fastboot devices, but I am unable to get it into any other state, or have anything display on the screen. I am still able to flash .img files with fastboot still. I have tried reflashing system.img and boot.img, but to no avail.
Am I finished or is there still hope? I'm not sure what I did wrong, and I'm unable to find this exact problem in the forums. Hope this isn't a hard brick yet...
Thanks!
Any fix?
I have the exact same issue rebranding from china to international!! Has anyone found the solution to this problem? My mate 9 wil perpetually be stuck in fast boot no matter what files I flash and what button combi I press
I got the same problem after an update. Black screen, no boot animation or anything, no LED. Stuck in fastboot mode. Can not restart it with any button combination. Has anyone come up with a solution?

Stuck in loop even after successfull flash

Hi everybody !
I have messed up my phone while installing and removing different progs like twrp and magisk. Now i'm stuck in a loop and can't figure out how to get out of it,despite having read many posts here and there. Here is what i have done:
- My phone is a Mi A2
- When i push the power button, i see briefly the android one logo, then a first message saying "your device can't be checked for corruption, please lock the bootloader", followed by a second message saying "your device has loaded a different operating system". Then it boot again with same messages infinitely.
- So i opened the phone, shorted the test points and flashed the "jasmine_global_images_V10.0.13.0.PDIMIXM_9.0" with miflash tool, apparently successfully. (By the way, i have never been able to boot in edl mode when the battery was disconnected) But alas, when rebooting after successful flashing, the phone did nothing more or less than before flashing: still stuck in the same loop.
- Pushing power and volume up does nothing else than bringing the loop mentioned above.
- Pushing power and volume down bring up fastboot, but then the device is not recognized in device manager, and i can't figure out why, as i already used adb and fastboot commands sometime ago before i messed up the phone.
Thank you in advance for any advice, and keep care of yourself and everyone around you all over the world !

Stuck on TWRP's "teamwin" loading screen after years of working normally and no changes

Hello, I've been using this phone for more than a few years now. Reflashed the system a few times over the years and was currently on Ivan_Meler's amazing LineageOS 18.
I saw that a bug on his 19.1 version I was experiencing was potentially fixed, so I started preparing to switch to that.
First order of business was going to recovery and doing a full backup, I had gone into recovery not too long ago.
Except I got boot looped instantly.
The current situation is:
- Model is SM-G930F
- The device is rooted
- Device will not stay turned off, if I force turn off with volume down + power it reboots instead
- Device is able to get into download mode and it seems to work normally
- Device will always boot to recovery, except when I ask to boot to download mode by volume down + power + home (not sure if there is a button combination for specifically booting to system, lmk If there is)
Things I already tried:
- Letting the battery run out completely to hopefully clear some cache -> Device tries to boot to recovery as soon as I plug the charger in
- Using ADB during the stuck splash screen -> Device eventually gets recognized by windows but it throws the generic "Your USB device malfunctioned" error, ADB doesn`t recognize it.
- Rebooting by launching a harmless command in Heimdell -> Device reboots but nothing else changes, still stuck.
- Letting battery run out at different stages, like in the stuck teamwin splashscreen, in the warning message before download mode and in download mode -> nothing changes
Additional information from the moment I tried to get to recovery and got stuck:
- I fat fingered "reboot" instead of turning off the phone, so I just held down volume up + home to get into recovery (I had already done this successfully before).
- My phone has USB debugging turned on
- My phone was plugged to my PC in USB Tethering mode when I tried to get to recovery
- My phone was set to use USB Tethering mode by default when plugged via USB, because I use that function a lot.
- My PC had the ADB server running, but was not actively running anything on device at the time.
I remember having been stuck in this same situation before and being able to recover it without losing data. But I have no recollection of how I did it.
If there was a way to make my phone stop trying to reboot and just turn off, im sure that
I would be able to boot into system, because i dont see how anything could've gotten messed up there since the phone rebooted normally and wasn`t reflashed or anythng
I really didn't want to have to wipe it, since my last full backup was a few months ago.
Do you guys have any suggestions? I was thinking of trying to flash back the exact same TWRP version through Odin, without flashing anything else. And seeing if that fixes it since the version is shown in the teamwin loading screen, would that be safe?
Hi, any progress ? I'm in the very similar situation, but flashing the same TWRP with Odin didn't help and I'm still stuck on TWRP logo. And adb doesn't see the device (neither when I'm in download mode nor when I'm on TWRP logo)
Is the device softbricked?
