Hello, I was wondering if there is a possible way to recover a deleted contact that was only deleted last night. I have a Samsung Galaxy On5 v6.0.1 and I've been trying to figure out a way to do so without rooting my phone as I hear it wipes the phone. Any help is very much appreciated

Hi !
Try to find on Google this app Android Data Recovery
You can also check this thread out https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2143188
Basically if your phone has been logged onto an account and if the sync has been enabled then the contacts should have been saved into your account
Good luck !

Ahh Ok, Sadly the sync was dated before the deletion. I tried all I could, but it doesn't seem like I have any clear way to recover the contact. I very much appreciate the help still.

Try this, I used it when I erased my xbox's savegames on accident.
OR (and I forgot I even had this)... Download Undelete from the Market. It does require root, though.
Hello, if you have a backup, then do not worry, just what you need to restore the backed up data can be, if the phone's data if you accidentally deleted, I used a piece of software that can help you get back, you can try:http://www.freeiphonedatarecovery.com/

Ok I'm getting really tired of seeing new members post in old topics. I've pointed this out I think to you also. Why do you feel the need to do this? There is off topic for this EXACT reason
And fyi that's a link to iPhone data recovery. This is clearly an android/Windows phone site

Hi guys and thanks for taking the time to read,
I decided to factory reset my note 4 the other day, and no for some reason it will not connect to my service provider at all(T-mobile). I tried inserting the sim card into other phones and they work fine and pick up service. I am not sure what to do. I bought this phone off craigslist a few days ago, so I just wanted to factory reset it to wipe it. It was connecting to my provider and data was working prior to the reset.
Does anyone know how to get my note back up and running again?
Thanks for you're help

Hi there,
So I updated my z5 to Marshmallow and of course, like most. My phone crashed, had to restore factory default and I lost some screenshots and text messages that I need VERY MUCH.
I have tried many tools to recover files, none of them find anything and just say to root in order to restore deleted items.
I did find one walk through to root the z5 on here but it doesnt give me much of a description. Just gives me codes to enter but i have no idea how to even start.... I am computer savy, but dont know a whole lot about phones.
If anyone can walk me through this or has had success with another way to recover deleted items on a z5. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP!
Thanks

You're not gonna get those files back. Once deleted, always deleted. That's the way an SSD works.
Also, rooting would not help, it will format the entire phone once again since it requires Unlocking the bootloader.
I suggest u to read and understand what ur doing before rooting anyway before u brick the phone.

Okay, today I got this friends phone and it is infected with some nasty malware. I managed to do factory reset but it seems that malware has infected system files. As soon as I connect to Wi-FI without entering any other info on welcome dialog phone automatically starts to download some crazy porn apps. Can this phone be saved or not? I have searched for stock or custom rom to reflash the phone but I cant find for this device.. Any help would be appreciated..
Thanks
