This morning, my phone updated to 39.2.A.0.417, and since then, I've noticed that when on the home screen (and only the home screen I believe) the notification bar at the top seems to auto hide. This was not something it was previously set to, and I'm not even aware of a setting anywhere that does this.
Now, I've had a look through the settings to see if I missed something, and I can't see anything anywhere. So what I would like to know is if this has happened to anyone else? If so, how did you rectify it? If it does have a setting somewhere, where can I find it?
I'm finding this immensely annoying having to pull the notification bar down constantly.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I actually tried half you advice, and just cleared the cache for the Home app. Just to save me the hassle of resetting up my home pages (lazy). Turns out that it was just something in the cache that screwed it up!
Completely forgot to even consider that as an option until your post. So thank you!

Hi Everybody!
I'd like to share my app that I've developed first of all for myself.
zleepZz automatically turns off features of your Android device to save battery life and disable all incoming calls, messages and emails during the night. When you go sleep, simply place your Android device face down to enable zleepZz. When you wake up, flip your phone back over to disable zleepZz.
More detailed the app just turn off WiFi, Mobile Data as well as switch to silent mode, once you flip phone or wake up time came, all these settings come to last state.
Thank you and please, let me know if there are something else you'd like to add or fix in the app.
p.s. Usually I am reader on the xda, cannot post link. zleepZz is available on Google Play, simply search for it. Thank you.
looks promising, one thing, does it remains active the whole day?
i mean, you have a important meeting at work, dont want to be interrupted by phone, you flip it face down and zleepzz starts?

Well. Currently it works only at period of time you set. So if your meeting not at set time, it will not work. But its good idea, you mentioned. I will think about it.
Thank you.

For some reason I'm not able to update apps while the screen is off anymore?, has something happened or changed to the app store?
I have checked in wifi advanced settings and it is set to 'Always' keep wifi on during sleep, I can receive email notifications via wifi while the phone is asleep, anyone have this issue?
edit -
With the phone is plugged into the charger it seems to be able to update the apps fine while the screen is off :-\
Stamina mode is active?????
Is the answer is yes, add play store to exception list.
Sorry my English bro.....

No stamina mode isn't active, I've also asked my home forum and although nobody has a solution a lot of people have started to notice this issue across different devices so I'm wondering if this is an issue with the Google play store?
I have tried to click force stop the "Clock" app, clear app data and restart the phone but it's useless. :crying: :crying:
I have browsed the internet & found that same cases are happened in Marshmallow.
My phone is using EMUI 4.0 (no root).
Anyone has ideas for this issue?

You set the automatic power on/off, check it.
Deactivate it and reboot.

Just received an update from one of my installed app. The problem is coming from this app.
Thanks all.:good:
Hi
I wanted a thread where we all write down the bugs we have found and report them together to get them fixed a lot faster.
I will keep updating the thread as more bugs are found or posted by other members.
Bugs so far:
Android Wear/Nougat bug - If you enable "Ignore phone when using the watch" feature in Android Wear and then click "Find Phone" on the watch, the phone won't ring. This worked on Marshmallow. It disables "android device administrator" too if you set it to ring your phone. Also worked before Nougat.
Some users report problem with Google Play Services when downloading apps.
Some people report double application icons in settings.
smart view case not working properly when on AOD feature.
Missing colors in Peoples Edge feature.
Screen mirroring doesn't work with a ue50ku6000 samsung smart tv.
Some users report different kind of Facebook bugs.
After playing clash royale I go home switch to other app and lock phone. Then I get a notification (sound enabled) and after notification sound is played Clash Royale music starts to play even with phone locked on black screen.

Gallery app is not good.
For example gallery album preview optimization is really bad. Assume you have folders worth 2 scrolling pages. When you scroll back and forth, it always loads the album previews again and again and again idiotically.
Another example is that you are looking images in an album, you clicked and image, scrolled, scrolled and scrolled a lot of images. If you press back button you see last image is centered on album. But if you exit via zoom out gesture, you are doomed. Album is centered on first image.
Also scrolling between tabs on gallery is laggy. If you have a notification on gallery (the smart thing asking for if you want this collage etc) after going in the notifications exiting via back button freezes for a couple secs.

Had the issue too. Disabled power saving mode and/or data saver made it work again (still a bug, as data saver and/or power saving mode (background data off) makes Google Play Services stop.

Sorry if its not clear. The reason being not good is because it is full of little bugs. I thought anyone used can understand that.

My notifications went silent, and when I tried to change the notification tone for sms, it said that I can't change the sound whilst I am on a call even though I hadn't been on a call in hours. Anyone else had this??
Camera filter doesn't show in camera interface (although i installed new ones).
Antutu score seems lower than MM version.
Sim Card manager text issues are still not resolved.
Inside apps I am not able to long press and copy text however this should be android native functionality not apps functionality. Used to work everywhere in MM.
after flashing BTU firmware I cant find all the themes in theme store. Majority of good themes are missing.

I try also to reflash and reset the hole phone, but still same.
Think we are the only one who has got this problem.
Did you select the re-partition in odin?
I did not.

I think morw people must have this problem, its just a matter of time for it to show up.
No i did not click re-partition as it says in sammobile web to not click it, ive done some updates in my other galaxy phone and not a problem with that, lets wait and see if anyone has a solution, or wait for another update
I don't know if is a bug, but AOD looks a step backwards from beta1, this one doesn't change its own brightness, and since yesterday I didn't see changing position neither, anyone noticed the same?

The keep screen off option under display dont work.
I had tried a few different button remaping tools and finally found one and the settings that worked. I'll update this post later from my PC with the steps I took, but for now, here are some basics - plus see screen shots.
The app: Buttons Remapper (no root)
The app config: From device settings , make sure you have all permissions turned on, all notifications enabled and high power consumption toggle on for this app. I'll post steps shortly.
The button Remapper config:
1. Open the app
2. Click the pink plus to add a new routine
3. Select " other" from the "key" drop down.
4. While on "other" ..push the Jovi button. This will produce a new entry in the "key" list. In my case it's " Key_308"
5. Select " long press" and set to 0.25. this is faster then Jovi responds so ...don't try something else or you may get Jovi to pop up first. It still can happen
6. Now under "action" select your desired action. I first tested "recent apps" which worked great. I then tested selecting the app " Google assistant" and then finally, I also tested selecting a Nova launcher action " Google assistant". All 3 worked.
So lastly, I went to the phones settings > Jovi > smart button > set this to " none "
Ok so I also tested with the app physically running in the back vs not, it seams to work better when the app is not manually closed. I did note that if you hold the button to long, I still get Jovi to pop.
Also, if you are on the always on screen and select the button, when you come out of unlock, Google assistant will be waiting there for you if that's the action you mapped to
That's all for now, I'll add more details when I am back to my PC!
Thank you, I will check.
Okay I am asking a siily question. Where do I find the Pink Plus.
I followed your instructions, work pretty well. Using it. Will see if I find any bugs
Confirmed working on Indian version too.
I had tried this app but it didn't work because i wasn't putting delay of 0.25 seconds. It works like charm now. Thanks man!!

Thanks for the quick reply and pic too. How did you go about getting Button Remapper to work under accessibility options. It keeps asking for me to log into my Vivo Account to allow it access to the system.
Good news. Also give permission to the app and Google Asistant woks great. I uninstall Jovi. [emoji1360]

Not sure about that part.. Indian version does not require a Vivo account. Wait for OP or any other chinese nex owner to reply.

Rebooting works well, but after a certain period of time, pressing the button again does not work.
I have an Indian Vivo Nex but strangely the side button when long pressed launches Google Assistant, and when pressed normally takes me to Google lens. No mods done whatsoever.
