Hi,
I was on Android N and decided to go back to KangVip Slim trough my TWRP Backup. So i opened the Bootloader again and flashed TWRP. But restoring of my backup failed and i started to wipe and delete in TWRP different things. I think i erased to much...
The result is, that now i the phone is booting to Huawei Logo and stucked there. All button-combinatios don't work.
No stock recovery, no dload method and the worst thing...no bootloader mode (USB connected to PC). The phone just reboot to the Huawei Logo.
I opened the phone, remove the battery cable, put it back, but it's still the same. I also discharged the battery and charged again. Same result, it boots just to the Huawei logo.
Is there any thing i could try to bring back to life or is it hardbricked?
Thanks in advance for any idea..
AL10 or L29,L09 to you have?
With AL10 version is easy to go back.
Install Android N again in Twrp.
Install Stock Recovery.
Go Back with Hi Suite.
Your open your Phone to reboot?
Press Power Button 10 sec. to reboot after reboot press 3 sec. to boot in eRecovery and shot down the Phone.
After Power off press Volume Down and hold and put in the Usb Cable in the Phone.
After this boot in Bootloader.
Flash Twrp for android N and wipe Cache,Dalvik,Data and System. Then flash Android N in Twrp.
Hi,
i have a L29. No TWRP, no bootloader mode to flash anything.
What happens when you switch off, then Power on and Press so long Volume up until the erecovery starts?
This must work!
Nothing, just reboot to the Huawei logo. I think there is no e-recovery installed.

Let me add one more step. Connect your phone to the computer via usb cable then switch off your phone. Press and hold Vol up + Power. Release it when you see Huawei logo.
Hope this will enable you to enter eRecovery.
Good luck
I tried that, but no success..
I think the Mate 8 is the first phone that i have brick...
I have the same issue too. L29. No TWRP, no bootloader mode to flash anything. Hopefully someone can guide us through this
Good news..
After I put the phone aside a few days and the battery has completely discharged, I connected the phone with my PC and tried to get into the fastboot mode.
I tried this before, without success. I was shocked when I saw the bright screen! It was in fastboot mode. I did not expect that. I left it untouched until the battery was charged a little bit.
Then i started to flash the NXT-L29C432B560 Firmware. It wasn't possible to do it with the "dload" method, so installed twrp-3.0.3.img and flashed the firmware with TWRP. For help use: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-8/general/how-to-install-nxt-l29c185b560-official-t3556789.
And now it works fine, like never something happend.
So all of you with same problem: Give it a try.
Now i have two babies.. Mate 8 and Mate 9. I will keep both....:good:
HI i have my mate 8 in the same conditons that you used to! please help me im desperate it doesnt even get on fastboot mode. Please I would appreciate your help thanks

Had this problem with L09. I've been trying to fix it all the week long.
If you can access dload mode, follow this guide:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-8/general/huawei-mate-8-downgrade-android-7-0-to-t3530999
If your phone is not NXT-L09, search for NXT-XXX (XXX= your phone model) rollback. It will surely work.

did you try to flash the newest rom ?
By the way .... which G6 do you have ? (L11, u10 etc..)
In the title it says U10, thought that would be enough info
I never flashed/rooted a phone before so I didnt try anything so far...
edit: I tried the suggestion from this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=59545669&postcount=4
1. redownload the rom file from official location. ( http://consumer.huawei.com/kh/suppor...h.htm?id=38361 )
It is the official for g6-l11 (-> dl a version for G^-u10 instead)
2. put the update.app into dload folder on your sd card (unpack from the zip)
3. shut down your phone
4. hold volume+ volume- and power button. When it start to boot release the power button, and hold both the volumes until the instalation starts
5. you will see that firmware flashing begin, wait for the end

It seems to work, I see the green android dude and text "updating from external storage" but the problem is the phone keeps restarting itself so it doesnt continue with the update... I suspect sometings wrong with the battery, short circuit maybe?
edit 2:
After giving up last night i tried the above procedure one more time this morning...and for some reason the installation continued. Phone has been up and running again since 8:30 this morning...
where can i get stock rom that can be flashed via sp flash tool? my huawei ascend g6-u10 is bricked after flashing b330. any solution for this?
my phone is dead but my pc can still recognize it
I was running a lollipop bootloader and since i wanted to upgrade to marshmallow i had to update the bloodloader too, so i flashed a new stock boot.img obtained from a stock rom and soon after that i also flashed twrp, i think i somehow bypassed the new (locked?) bootloader with a custom recovery and now i'm stuck in "Rescue Mode".
Device is now stuck into that mode, i cannot turn it off or enter recovery, as soon as i restart my phone it goes into rescue mode, i have already tried all key combinations and also tried to force install from sdcard, my computer is not recognizing my device either so i can't use adb, i had no idea bricking a device like this was even possible, i'm quite desperate.. please help.
[How i fixed it] I somehow managed to get out of Rescue Mode, what i did wrong was not holding vol down + power long enough, you have to hold them down until phone restarts, that takes about 10 seconds, after that you will feel a vibration and huawei logo will appear, keep holding buttons down for 4-5 more seconds before taking your fingers off, it should then go into fastboot, once you're there adb should work and you will be able to unlock the bootloader if it is not unlocked already, after that you should be able push data to device or flash recovery again. If adb still doesn't work check usb drivers, your best bet is probably downloading HiSuite.
Awesome! :good:
Glad you got it going! I'll close this thread now! But here is your device section for future use, http://forum.xda-developers.com/t/huawei-p8
Cheers!
Hi there,
Kindly help... I successfully installed B512 on my TL10 using force upgrade method, afterwhich I changed recovery to TWRP 3.0.2 using mobopx v2.2, which was also successful. And then I installed SuperSU 2.46 via TWRP, then cleared cache/dalvik. But upon rebooting system, I get a blank screen, even after waiting for more than 15 minutes.
And so I tried going to TWRP (Vol+ and power), which was successful, in order to boot to bootloader, with the intention of loading back the stock bootloader via adb, so that I can force install B512 from my microSD card again. It seemed to install fine...
However, at this point, I cannot reboot to bootloader (Vol- and power) anymore, I only get blank screen. Trying recovery (Vol+ and power) doesn't work either. Rebooting normally gives me the same. I cannot by any means connect via adb now.
Is there any way to unbrick my phone at this point?
Thanks so much. Cheers.

The phone "doesn't want to turn off" bro. It has fully discharged, but as soon as I plug the charger in, it immediately powers up. When it does, now it shows the Huawei logo. But it's stuck there, and if I press the power button for a few secs, it will power down, but immediately power up again...

Let it get fully charged first. Then remove the charger and keep the Vol up and power button pressed for ~10 secs or more, and see where it takes you.

You seem to be in a sticky situation bro. Your recovery seems to be broken because in stock recovery Vol up + power should ideally take you to recovery and not restart. If you could somehow boot into fastboot mode then it could open up some options to bring your phone to life.
With no way to connect to the phone the only options left are the hardware buttons. I am sure you'd have tried them already, but just in case you have not, try the other 2 key combinations also, Vol down + power and Vol up + Volume down + power, for ~10 secs, to check if any of these either forces a factory reset or boots the phone into fastboot mode.

Thanks bro, but that's what I did, or at least was planning to do. After rooting B512 via TWRP, the phone got stuck at the logo. Thank you for this suggestion brother. I tried exactly as you described, however, the phone looks badly discharged, and while the screen was blinking/showing the red battery icon, it doesn't seem to want to charge. I waited around 5 minutes, but nothing seems to progress from here.
And so now, I moved the USB cable to a proper charger, and now it seems to be charging, with the LED light a steady red, and the screen the normal red circle with "0%" inside. It seems to be charging at the moment, although I really have to wait until it shows "1%" until I can surely say so.
One thing that's different now is that the phone hasn't turned on (by itself) yet. And at least this looks promising.
I'll let you know what happens in a while... Thank you!

Hello,
I downgraded my Honor 8 via Rollback and installed the Rom FRD-L09C432B131.
But my phone is stuck on the blue Android startup screen.
I can not use the Volume +, Volume - or Power buttons.
All I can do is let it turn off by itself when the battery is at 0%.
When I put it on, it turns on by itself. Arrives on a blue screen. Reboot once and then stays eternally on the blue screen while heating up enormously.
I have no access to the Recovery, erecovery or via the computer (by plugging it into a USB port).
Thanks

Once your phone turns off, press power button amd volume up button together. This should take you to recovery. Or you can't access this at all?
Sent from my Honor 8 using XDA Labs
I can not turn off my phone. It goes off when the battery is at 0%.
If I put on USB or mains, it recharges and restarts automatically. And I can not stop it ...
When I plug it into a USB port, the Power, Volume + or Volume buttons are ineffective.
And when it's plugged into the PC, it does not show up!
So I do not have access ... except perhaps by a software that would force the connection ... or a manipulation other than Power / Volume ..
When I say reboots, it is a program to display the Android blue screen and hangs on it!
does it say android or honor?
going to dload is kinda tricky sometimes and should be done when connected to wall adapter, not pc
can you keep vol- and power pressed while your phone is connected to pc. keep them pressed even after the phone restarts. dont let go. it might take some time. does it go to fastboot?

Ohhh, sorry my bad
dats prolly because he has mismatched files for the os he's running. he should deffo check if he can go to fastboot. the fact that he cant go to dload doesnt really mean anything because i cant do it either 40% of the time. its a bit iffy. the fact remains, if it boots to honor logo, means some type of os is up there. if he can go to fastboot he can flash stock recovery/recovery2 and try dload again. without proper recovery combo he wont be able to flash anything anyways and warranty prolly wont cover it since its users fault, esp if he has unlocked warning.

Similar to me, only way is go into bootloader mode, then charge the phone for awhile, you cant do nothing cuz of 0% battery, flash stock recovery, update via dload or direct wifi recovery.

He can't go to fastboot
if he completely bricked it, he'd be stuck at black screen/android logo, not honor logo. either he's not telling us everything (ran out of juice while upgrading / error while flashing / flashing wrong rom), there is no chance all key partitions got wiped if the process finished successfully. meaning at least he should be able to fastboot cause thats the first thing flashing alongside bootloader. no way any type of system partition is up there, and bl/fb is not, even if they are from a different OS. h8 can be stubborn at times, but keeping the cable in pc and holding vol_down+power for good 20s deffo will force it to at least reboot. thats the only way. if this doesnt work, you should take it to a service center.
I guess it's better if he takes it to the service center
Nothing works. So I have to send it to the service center
Thank you all !

It's sad but, I hope it gets fixed
Hi all. Looking for some ideas. I think I have ruined my P6X. Model is BLN-L24 and I did the Chinese HWOTA to EMUI 8.0. I then flashed Open Kirin LOS beta 4 and got Oreo up and running! The microphone and speaker didn't work however, so I decided to roll back to the stock system. So via the Update folder method on the sdcard I rolled back first and then reinstalled the original BLN-L24 firmware available on the Huawei website. The phone kept bootlooping and I could not get into eRecovery to factory reset. I then attempted to install TWRP but since the bootloader was relocked I could not do this...so I recalled the saved unlock code I had for this device and did a Fastboot OEM unlock. Now the device simply bootloops no matter what I try to do! It opens with the Honor splash screen, goes into the device cannot be trusted screen warning vibrates twice and bootloops. I can't get into fastboot, I can't get into the sdcard firmware flash update and I can't get into any recovery. The phone will not stay on long enough to be recognized by the computer as it continuously bootloops. Huawei MT version 8 does not recognize the device as being connected and I am now at a complete loss as to what to try...looking for any advice or secret power up + vol key combo to get the phone into either firmware update to reflash via sd card or get the phone into fastboot mode so I can connect to Huawei MT.
Remove backcover and remove battery connector from board and then keep pressing vol- and connect usb to go to fastboot without connecting battery. And unbrick via multitool.
Thanks I'll try and report back!

i faced the same problem a while ago. my way to solve it was to completly uncharge the phone (let it on or looping till your battery is dead) and connect it with vol- to your pc. for me this helped and bootloader came up again.
Ok I powered down completely, and then reconnect USB w vol down and the phone did the same behavior. I think the motherboard will need some sort of test point to reset to fastboot. It's past my ability. RIP honor 6x
