Can't go after twrp - Oppo R7 Plus

Hi,
I have a problem with my r7plusf.
I tried to install lineageOs, with the CM recovery I just got a "zip signature verification" problem. To avoid this problem i flashed TWRP and tried installing it without checking the zip signature. When doing that i got a "table error".
I try to reflash back the rom I had and now I am in trouble :
when i flash it it boots on TWRP instead of the rom.
I tried installing the colorOs recovery and it did not work (I just saw a message telling me "formating data and cache")
/*And now twrp is always telling me "can't mount /data".*/
I resolved this problem by formating the data partition
Does anyone know what i can do to reuse my phone?
Thank you by advance for all the help you could give me.

Little update :
I tried to build lineageOS by hand with this link : https://wiki.lineageos.org/r7plus_build.html to see if there was the cyanogenmod/lineage recovery included but when I try to brunch, I just get this error :
Code:
"ninja: error: '/home/user/android/system/out/target/product/r7plus/obj_arm/SHARED_LIBRARIES/libtime_genoff_intermediates/export_includes', needed by '/home/user/android/system/out/target/product/r7plus/obj_arm/SHARED_LIBRARIES/libandroid_servers_intermediates/import_includes', missing and no known rule to make it"
After looking at the files I just saw that the folder named "obj_arm" does not exists. For info Iam on archlinux whith linux kernel version 4.9.6-1 and I have GCC 6.3.1 .
Does anyone know how to solve this bug or has anyone got the cyanogenmod recovery?
UPDATE : I tried with the cyanogenmod recovery that someone gave to me and it didn't work either, the phone still boots on the recovery. I don't have anymore ideas anymore

Some one oppo forum just gave me the way to save my phone, i just had to boot in fastboot mode, plug the phone in my computer, open a command prompt and type the command "fastboot continue", everything just work fine now.

HELP with TWRP install

4.2.2 sense 5
Unlocked with HTCdev
I have followed ALL the steps from 'Lucky Thirteen', http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2213910, but can`t get TWRP to install.
Everything goes fine until I use ``fastboot flash recovery TWRPrecovery.img`` command.
The laptop finds the phone because I`ve got ``fastboot usb`` showing on phone screen.
When I type the above fastboot command the message I get is ``error: cannot load ``TWRPrecovery.img`` : unknown error
I`ve spent hours on here trying to find solution... I´ve tried running command in the ``platform tools`` folder where the file is, tried downloading the TWRP file again, tried renaming without .img as suggested, EVERY suggestion I can find. Still won`t install.
Please help, phone still works OK, just can`t get a recovery installed.
Thanks

Further to my OP I`ve since been able to install TWRP through Hasoon2000`s ``all in one tool```.
Could the problem be something to do with ´´fastboot commands`` ?
If so, am I likely to have problems when I try to flash a boot.img with commands ?
Thanks

did you try factory reset?
maybe you got a bad ROM/Recovery download? try re downloading the ROM/Recovery
are you using the latest CWM? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2563599
did you try another recovery(T.W.R.P, Philz touch)? http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/development/recovery-twrp-2-8-2-0-touch-recovery-t2980621
Did you try a Different ROM(custom 4.4.4/4.4.2, stock lollipop(5.0.2), custom lollipop)? http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/development/rom-stock-motorola-lollipop-rom-t3017510
are you using the right ROM and recovery for your device? some things might not work on your model. some things dont support dual sim so it causes crashes on dual Sim devices.
Hope this helped

Fastboot Mode> Recovery>wipe/data factory reset >>>>>>>Not Working
Install Cwm>>>>>>> Fastboot+cwm recovery in same folder> cmd code enter>>>>>Don't open Cwm Menu.
Install twrp>>>>>>>Fastboot+twrp in same folder> cmd code enter>>>>>>don't open twrp menu
Install Stock>>>> RetailAsia 4.4.4/5.0.2/custom lollipop>>>>>it seems installed successfully but when open device not installed.
And when open device everything return to old like backup programs.

**type the commands without quotes** **<insert your file name because different versions are called different things>**
enable usb debugging in settings.(i think this is needed but if you cant because of the FC you can try without it.)
download adb and fastboot: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317790
you boot into bootloader
you plug in your phone(duh)
open the place where you installed adb+fastboot. it should be in program files(x86). put your <recovery>.img in that location. shift click and select open command window here. twrp can be found here:http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/development/recovery-twrp-2-8-2-0-touch-recovery-t2980621 make sure you use the one for your devices filesystem. i think non-gpe is the ftfs one. but i might be wrong. you can read that thread/post there to figure it out.
now you type "fastboot devices" and it should return a string of letters and numbers followed by the word fastboot
if it does that type "fastboot flash recovery <twrp/CWM file name>.img
you might have 2 do that twice for it to work successfully
use the volume keys to select recovery(if you don't it wont be installed correctly)
idk about other recovery but on the first time twrp took 3-5 min to load up
if the "fastboot devices" did not work try:
re plugging your phone into your computer
power on your phone and enable usb debugging
using a different usb cable/port
make sure you have the Motorola drivers installed
when did theses problems start?
when you unlocked the bootloader?
before you unlocked it?
when you tried a costume recovery?
when you flashed a ROM?
or just randomly started?
hope i helped you. if i didn't post again and ill try to help again
Hi, my wife got the same problem.
I found also this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2770611&page=4 where other people have this problem but there's no news since february.
I tried everything that's up. 10 minutes ago i tried flashing philz recovery (there was twrp before) and terminal said that everything went complete, but after restart there's still TWRP. Done the same with stock firmware and few other things too.
In addition in twrp i get an info "unable to mount cache" or smth like that.
This happened today, phone worked like charm for months without flashing anything (it has paranoid rom on it).
Sorry for my bad english and please help.

You can flash nothing in CM recovery you need a new recovery.
If you're on stock ROM use this method
Download this file HERE.
Extract the the file in your computer and open the cmd in the folder by pressing shift+LMB and write the code:
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
important:connect your phone to the computer in fastboot holding the vol+ and connect it.
Now you can press entre you have now CWM recovery .
Boot to recovery and flash CM12 then make a factory reset and boot to system .
If you're using a Lollipop ROM use this method
Just install this app here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-l/development/app-recoveries-recovery-installer-t3187914
And give root then flash TWRP .
NOW you can install whatever you want:silly:

Where did you get this error, while flashing?
Edit: if you have problems flashing via fastbooy there's easier method go here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-l/orig-development/cwm-recovery-installer-t2589320
And download the recovery installer on your computer and install CWM on your phone then you can flash CM12

thanks so much. that worked.
after unlocking the bootloader, I used flashtool and flash in fastboot mode, without any error. but when phone rebooted went to cyanogenmod recovery menu! I choose to update via sd! and all thing were going OK. unfortunately, it failed! the error said that "this update is for c2105, c2104, taoshan, but your phone is." It seems it cant recognize my phone is c2105!
why this error ocured, and what should I do!
again thanks for your good solutions.

[HELP] CM13+TWRP - Installation error, bootloop, PC doesn't recognize phone via USB

Moto G XT1032
Hello,
I hope that you understand my English. I am kind of a layman concerning Android, but still wanted to install Cyanogenmod 13. I followed these instructions (can't post them apparently since I am new). Official instructions on the CM website. (Bootloader was already unlocked because I already installed Cyanogenmod 12, went back to Stock ROM and now tried to install CM13). Like alwas there were some minor errors during the first steps, but I handled them alright, I think.
The real problem started when I tried to install the zip-file of CM13 ("Installing CyanogenMod from recovery", step 8). I followed the instructions (wipe etc.), but the installation stopped at "Patching system image unconditionally" and it said something like "missing md5-file" although the file I downloaded on the TWRP website was right next to the recovery .img.
After trying and trying I started to go through the options in TWRP recovery (which was a fault, I know) and wiped some things that probably should not have been wiped. Next error message was: "unable to mount /system". New problem.
Then I thought, I might try the recovery that was right next to the downloadlink of the CM13 firmware. Installed it succesfully and tried again some things, now I have a bootloop and can't shut off the phone. When I shut it off, 1 second later the Google-screen with the open lock appears again". The only help was to manually shut it off with recovery.
I can't even start Android anymore, which means I can't activate USB-debugging, the installation files of CM13 are missing and the main problem: my PC only recognizes the phone in fast boot mode - I can't move files to the phone, it just says in the task bar: "Fastboot falcon S".
As soon as I enter recovery mode, the USB-sign on Windows vanishes.
Tried to move the files to the devices by "adb push cm-13.0-20160703-NIGHTLY-falcon.zip /scard", but it says "* daemon not running. starting it now on port 5037 *
* daemon startet successfully *
adb: error: connect failed: no devices/emulators found"
The device is not recognized by "fastboot devices" in cmd.
I hope that you understood everything. Already tried to get help in German forums, but nobody answered there.
And yeah, I definitely stopped trying to solve it by myself because I might just destroy it more.
Thanks for your help!
seems like we are on the same trolley.
I wanted to have a 100% clean system so I wiped everything.
I reinstall SDK, google drivers, motorola drivers, but no success. In fastboot mode it's written: USB connected, on the computer eject "Fastboot falcon S". I create file adb_usb.ini with id in it, restarted system, killed adb and so on. Tried different USB port, different cables.
Aendroit, if you find a way share.
I'm on W10 if that matters.
Ok. So I managed to go through the problem.
First, I was able to reinstall TWRP with fastboot (fastboot root twrp.....), so fastboot worked for me. Then it seems that on the main screen, where you choose options with volume buttons, fastboot works, but not adb.
I went into recovery and "adb shell" worked, so did "adb devices".
I used push command and so on.
I'm glad you got the solution now. Unfortunately I can't follow the instructions. Could you please take me through it step by step ("fastboot root twrp", I never used a command like this before). Thanks!
Because when I go in recovery and type in "adb shell" or "adb shell" on my computer, it says "no devices/emulators found".
Update: Got it. I can enter TWRP now, but in the installation log it said "Mismatched partition size (recovery)" at the end. If someone knows what that means ...
I meant: fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.0.0.0_2-falcon.img
Mismatched size is just an information, nothing to worry about. Now, when you are in TWRP try to check the device "adb devices", should work.
Thank you, my computer recognizes the device again! I was able to copy the files to my phone. Unfortunately I still can't install a custom rom. I tried Mokee instead of CM13 now and i always get the same messages:
"Checking for MD5 file...
Skipping MD5 check: no MD5 file found
Target: 146758281
Detected filesystem ext4 for /dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/system" and so on.
I don't know what that is supposed to mean ...
Well, I'm not very good oriented in all this stuff, so I don't know why you got those problems, far from being a dev.
I copied ressurection ROM + open gapps nano (thou I always used banks, but this time wanted to save more free space) and installed it via TWRP without any issues.
Thank you for the answer. Mokee works now! I'm not happy that I can't use CM13, but I got Mokee working after a while and I'm glad about it.

[need help] asus zc520kl [x00hd] any working rom with twrp

Update/Solved:
Currently the only way for people who deleted their OS completely in this phone model X00HD/ZC520KL is to restore the official firmware.
You can ask for a backup recovery folder in XDA Forums ( https://forum.xda-developers.com/zen...help?nocache=1) if you do not have made a backup with people who have the same phone model. You must have TWRP previously installed and bootloader unlocked. Flashing the official firmware via .zip files is not working with twrp, you must restore the folder. After having the files needed, your recovery folder will not appear on the RESTORE section so follow this simple tutorial to make it appear there (https://youtu.be/trlG3ZxwQxI)
This method will bring your phone back to life if you're stuck in TWRP Recovery Mode with "No OS installed". This method is working and it's the only way for you to use your phone again until developers create custom ROM's for this model.

Hello, I tried your solution. It did not work. I keep getting Error Number 7 when flashing the ROM. Plus I also tried to delete the assert line in the uptader-script of the ROM you gave me the link after learning from a tutorial how to solve Error Number 7 and after that I got another error: Invalid Zip Format. I don't know what do to more, is this ROM link really compatible with my device? I need urgent help.

Thanks for the attention. I already tried tons of ROM's including the official one for this phone. I keep getting Error Number 7. Sometimes when I force an installation editing the uptader-script file it seems everything is working fine, but at the end of the ROM flash process the phone reboots and goes back to TWRP like everything had never happened. I have never seen a successful feedback, just the "Failed" message or a unexpected reboot that goes back to TWRP.
I don't know what do you mean with unlocking bootloader as I have no ROM installed and always I turn ON my phone I go to TWRP automatically. My TWRP version is 3.1.1.

Not working, as I said before, I've already tried to solve this Error. Either 3 things happen: the installation seems to be running good but at some point the device automatically reboots to it's original condition of TWRP (Liniage OS flash and after editing the file to solve Error Number 7 + I get a message saying "Invalid zip format" (Official Asus Firmware flash after editing the file to solve Error Number 7) + I get Error Number 7.

Hi, I have the same model and I have TWRP as well. I think I can make backup of my ROM an upload it so you can install it on your phone, would that work for you?

Hello @pantarz, yes, give me your backup ROM you have in your phone, it should work on mine. I'm really thankful to see people like this these days. Just need the .zip file for the ROM. Thanks in advance.
Currently the only way for people who deleted their OS completely in this phone model X00HD/ZC520KL is to restore the official firmware.
You can ask for a backup recovery folder in XDA Forums ( https://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone-4-max/help?nocache=1) if you do not have made a backup. This method will bring your phone back to live if you're stuck in TWRP Recovery Mode with "No OS installed". This method is working and it's the only way for you to use your phone again until developers create custom ROM's for this model.
Hi @ANDROIDMASTER67, @pantarz I also break my phone ZC520KL ( X00HD ). It shows "no os installed" and "error 7" when I try to install a ROM.
Can you please help me fix my phone? If there is a backup that I can get please let me know.
Many thanks in advance.
I've managed to fix it by doing the following:
Copy the original recovery from a firmware package.
I could find one in the file https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=11050483647474829889, location /Asus_Zenfone_4_Max_ZC520KL_20171225/Firmware/recovery.img
Load default recovery
fastboot flash recovery recovery/original-recovery.img
Restart to bootloader
fastboot reboot bootloader
Load flashboot mode
choose the option "update using adb"
ensure that adb can locate devices with
adb devices
load firmware with
adb sideload UL-ASUS_X00HD-WW-14.2016.1805.374-user.zip ( try download from: https://www.beritahuaja.com/2018/11/download-stock-rom-asus-zenfone-4-max-zc520kl.html )
Easy way with only fastboot
1. Get adb and fastboot drivers
2. go to this page h ttps://addrom.com/raw-rom-for-asus-zenfone-4-max-zc520kl/ Dowload the original firware
3. Extract the files inside the your disc C:Adb
4. Go to your celphone and enter in fastboot mode... then conect the celphone to your computer ... then use cmd " fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" .. this is for restore the original recovery if you have twrp.. if you dont have it , its no neccesary ..
5. in fastboot mode , go to Inside the firware search flashall_AFT.bat , double clik , wait until finish
6. go to recovery mode wipe/factory reset and tadaaaa! Your Os is restore again :bueno:

I've managed to fix it by doing the following:
Copy the original recovery from a firmware package.
I could find one in the file https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=11050483647474829889, location /Asus_Zenfone_4_Max_ZC520KL_20171225/Firmware/recovery.img
Load default recovery
fastboot flash recovery recovery/original-recovery.img
Restart to bootloader
fastboot reboot bootloader
Load flashboot mode
choose the option "update using adb"
ensure that adb can locate devices with
adb devices
load firmware with
adb sideload UL-ASUS_X00HD-WW-14.2016.1805.374-user.zip ( try download from: https://www.beritahuaja.com/2018/11/download-stock-rom-asus-zenfone-4-max-zc520kl.html )
Click to collapse
It works. It really works. You have saved my Asus X00HD. Thank you.
