I upgraded software to 6.0 using LGUP because I don't use phone in USA.
Installation completed without problem, but now when I start phone I get message "unfortunately lg vpn has stopped". Beside that, every time when I try to open some settings like Fingerprints & security I get message "Unfortunately, the process com.android.settings has stopped" and window close.
I tried to reinstall upgrade but same thing. Second thing I tried was install custom rom, but I can't root device because I can't access Security tab in Settings (get error).
Do you have any suggestions? Tnx!
Way back in my G3 days, I had a similar experience and stumbled my way to a solution.
1. Find AD freeze LG VPN system menu' entry. If that doesn't work, try removing whatever SIM you're using and compare your Google Play Services version to someone if necessary, find your devices most recently available here or at apk mirror.

Did you find any solution about said problem ????
I'm also curious if there is a fix for this. I have a device here that has the exact same symptoms. I used the H900_20j TOT file to upgrade to 6.0 and started seeing issues. I then used the h90021w.kdz file to update and that didn't fix anything.

It just needs to rename KDZ file name? I tried it but LGUP stopped working after several seconds and closed!
Could you provide the link of KDZ and DLL file you upgraded your phone through it?
Thanks

Bro,
I have the same issue as yours.
It's really hard to find a way to flash the Verizon firmware to the refurbished device.
Everyone here says that it works but the biggest problem is: "How".
With what tool and how.
Please help us for those who had figured the solution.
We are stuck with invalid kdz. The softwares won't flash the firmware.
:'(
I have the exact same issues as above. I wonder if this one would work? http://www.theandroidsoul.com/lg-v10-update/ .
Cheers,
Trev
Did anybody find a solution for this??
I have exactly the same issue and tried the workarounds listed in this thread, unfortunately nothing worked, so my phone is essentially pretty useless now. If anyone did get a fix working for this e.g fooling lgup to get the verizon kdz on it, it would be great!
Cheers
If you can, go to settings/general/About Phone/ Software Info. Check the model number, then try to flash the matching kdz.
If that isnt working. You need to understand something. Marshmellow is heavily secured. There is not root for the at&t version, and it does not allow downgrading. You may have locked yourself out. Id contact LG and see if they can get you up and running if my suggestion doesnt work. Also, alot of some kdz are not the entire firmware. When you upgrade to a new OS, it tends to keep stuff from the old one. Even if you do a new flash but when you dont have a custom recovery. You may also try to use lg bridge and do a software upgrade repair. It will try to detect a faulty OS, and wipe it and fully download and install a fresh OS, that may or may not work. But thats my info for ya. Hope it helps or at least gives you some clarity.

Today i get an update OTA
i downloaded it and wanted to update, but in the Update-Screen, the progress failed and my phone reboot
i have rooted my flex2 (h955) and the software recognized it and throw out an error
is there any way to update?
i searched the problem in google, but google doesnt found anything and in the G3 forum stands, that root is no problem with stock recovery and ich have stock recovery
You might have to unroot before doing the OTA update.

Which one did you get? LG PC Suite 4.3.41? Where from? I can't find it on the LG site for our phones.
count me in the same boat :/
have the sprint version of the phone and woke up this morning to a prompt that there was an android update. with my brain not being awake yet i went ahead and told it to update, not thinking about root preventing the update. So went about my morning routine and came back and the phone was booted back up, but obviously the update didn't apply as i was still on ZV4, not ZV5. when checking for update it says there are no updates available.
can anyone help me/us out and post some steps for how to unroot and reapply the update? i'm good at following directions, just too new to this stuff to be able to figure it out on my own

anyone have any tips on forcing the OTA to download again?i've disabled SU, rebooted, and factory reset and it still says i'm up to date when checking for an update. or is there a way to download the OTA and update the phone some other way?

I tested all the files and I have no message and signal works perfectly.
woke up this morning to the prompt that there was an update available again, not sure why it does it overnight but won't when i manually check for update..... anyway, i disabled SU, rebooted, then started the update and watched it this time and in the middle of the upgrade it came up with the android guy on his back and it said error. after a bit it restarted again and was back to where i started, no update.
so it looks like i need to unroot. would appreciate any help on how to unroot so i can apply the OTA, thanks!!!!!
Here with a sprint flex 2. First time I tried ota update I was rooted and it failed. A few days later the update notification showed up again, went ahead and unrooted, tried the update and still failed. I'm not sure root has anything to do with update failing now. Could be something else. So far I haven't read about anyone successfully completing update and reporting it.
I was getting the same error message about being rooted even after un rooting the device.
I installed the lg pc suite and upgraded to 10d that way and then re rooted using the method on this forum.
It looks like there may be a flag thats triggered once u root that doesnt get removed even if u unroot it.
ugh! i can't even get my phone to connect to pc suite to try and "fix" it so i can attempt the update
AT&T D850, rooted, still running 4.4.2.
Yesterday having terrific wifi connection problems...on all wifi.
After hours of work, decided to Factory Reset.
Did on-phone software-based backup and factory reset.
Upon reboot, I get black box message: "Unfortunately, Android System has stopped"
I've had a phone repair teck look at it and he could not get very far. You can actually hit "OK" after the message and y get a microsecond to try and hit something on the screen. he was trying to clear the storage cache.
So, after numerous retries at hardware (button) based factory reset with same results, I'm the owner of a bricked device. Although I rooted to get rid of AT&T trash on the phone, I had little interest in custom ROMS and was afraid of bricking my phone. And after a simple factory reset, that's apparently exactly what happened.
So as if this point, I have a data connection with the carrier, and I can access internal memory via USB...but obviously I cannot go into settings and enable Developer Options or USB Debugging or anything like that.
What are my options to restructure things running purely thru a PC/USB connection?
Any help would be SINCERLEY appreciated.

I think your misunderstanding it, I think your looking at the ads and not the actual download link.
After you enter the code it will count down 8 seconds then you can click download. It brings you to a page with the download link.

Once you upgrade you can't flash back to stock. LG flash tool fails because it couldn't detect the model. After setting up McAfee it disables root and usb debugging. You have to go into McAfee and turn those options off. So it seems like once you go to mm you can't get back to lollipop. I'm also having proximity sensor issues also with the screen going black during a call. I guess once we can get root I'll be able to install another rom.
Hi, I got the notification and I was not in WiFi network so decided to cancel it and check it again once I got to wifi zone. But when I checked next time, I just get a message, your phone is uptodate. I tried rolling date forward to circumvent the 24 hour check, but no luck. Any ideas to get the update notification back ?
no luck updating
tried the update today, it just sends me to twrp recovery screen every time
You can't install a factory update while rooted. Come on guys you should know this.

I had the same thing happen to me so what I did to make the phone think I haven't checked for an update and avoid the 24 hour wait I did a hard reset. I want to point out that I didn't care much about all my apps being deleted and you might want to back them up. Note: I was on stock lollipop
Anyone do an adb pull and extract the modem yet? Want to flash it on Fulmics 5.0.

Not sure if there is an "anti roll back" But You cannot use flashtools once updating to Lollipop you must use LGUP.

Its KDZ. the D850 is TOT method only.
My Guide:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2785089
But remember its your own risk, not sure if downgrading will brick or not yet from MM on the AT&T Model.
FWIW, if you're experiencing DND issues after the 6.0 update check settings > dnd > advanced > schedule. kept noticing on my moto360 it was switching to dnd for no reason. turns out some scheduling magically appeared. been running 6.0 without a hitch since last night. had to manually disable at&t video calling and a few other things but im happy with it thus far.

I tried doing a factory reset after spending a lot of time to back up data. But after fresh restore, I'm getting the message that your phone is uptodate. I m cursing myself why I dismissed the prompt yesterday. Any other solutions to force update ?

You have to do a hard reset through stock recovery. Don't do it if you are using a custom rom. If you are not experienced I recommend you wait to see if you get another update notification

It's in the 2nd post of my guide in the link I posted earlier ^^ but just remember at your own risk as I haven't seen anyone try yet. Example like the G4 after a certain point people bricked there AT&T model from downgrading. But if you do risk it and everything went smoothly let us all know!

No luck, tried hard reset through recovery twice and before that general reset several times. I'm not getting the notification for the second time
Any other ways to force update ?
I Have 2 people who have successfully flashed the KDZ, I want a list of people who it will work for I want it to repeat. So go find my kdz link in the extracted thread I made and flash it. If successful, which will 99% GUARENTEE work, I don't see why it wouldn't, report back.

update via kdz with LG flashtool 2014, i found the kdz file at www.lg-firmwares.com
https://lg-firmwares.com/lg-h900-firmwares/#firmwaresList
haizz, thought there was Nougat KDZ, why other V10 had Nougat upgrade while ATT does't release it -_-
Hi Everyone,
As some of you have tested the first firmware (4G) available in the Bluetooth version, our friend @mcdull and @sorayahya have fixed a broken Watch using below firmware.
Sorayahya will post the manual in this same thread so all of you can make your watches functional again.
Link: https://mega.nz/#!gqQATbga
Decryption key: !mD2smD4jEq_FOkhE1uy0PQ5uf6XYpxR0wxxkM6msPiE
Special thanks to @mcdull for preparing this file to all of us.
So after downloading the above files from dr_chch's post extract the files. After that we will need to get QPST which has the program called QFIL which we will be using to unbrick the watch.
Download “QPST 2.7 (QFIL)” from HERE and extract it to an empty folder. Install QPST by double clicking setup.exe.
Now you want to plug in your Huawei Watch 2 to the PC using the charging cable that came with the watch.
At first you might get a notification from the PC that the usb device is unknown, if that happens you will need to hold down on your watch's right top button for around 30 seconds. After that you should get a notification from your PC that a new device was plugged in and it will start to install a new driver. Once that's done you should have a "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008" device show up in your device manager.
{

"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
We won't be needing the storage device to show up so if it doesn't for you that's alright.
Next we will open QFIL from start menu, if it's not in the start menu you can locate it by going to Program Files\Qualcomm\bin\. You should see "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008" written on the top, if it's not then click on the "SelectPort" button and then select "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008". After that Insert all the necessary file needed by QFIL:
(1)The programmer will be prog_emmc_firehose.mbn;
(2)Use the rawprogram0.xml;
(3)Use the patch0.xml;
(4)Hit “Download” button.
If the process you did with QFIL finished successfully, the watch will boot again. If not then try to restart the program and repeat the same process again until you succeed.
At this point your watch is alive again but without a firmware so you will need to flash the correct ROM through fastboot.
For that you can check out the guide dr_chch made here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/watch-2/development/rom-huawei-watch-2-bt-leo-b09-leo-bx9-t3616779
Thanks for the files and the recovery guide. Please make sure you understand the below before your recovery.
1. You will probably lost the original MAC Address of your WIFI and Bluetooth. But at least the device will work with both functions, it will assign another MAC Address for you.
2. The recovery file includes only the boot loader, you still need to boot into fastboot (holding the device power button until you feel it vibrate. Then quickly release and press the power buttons) to flash the latest ROM downloaded from here.
Mod Edit
what you can help?

You wont need this file as this is for de-bricking the BT version only.
And the mega link works just fine.

Just learned of this thread......
I am wondering if anyone got the LEO-DLXX Watch 2 4G working again? Mine is recognized in QFIL as a qualcomm 9008, but that is as far as I can get. Has anyone been able to get the bootloader working with the files in this thread? I'm not sure what happened to mine, but it got bricked while installing the global ROM Huawei2_NXG46W_Global_4G. It is strange how it worked for so many people, but not mine. Any help or guidance is appreciated.

The ROM worked for you or were you able to recover the boot loader? Has the LEO-L09S recovery found here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/watch-2/help/flashed-huawei-watch2-power-t3632341 worked for anyone?

Are you getting the sahara protocol error message as well? Are you trying to use QFIL to restore the bootloader on the LEO-DLXX watch?
Two strange things happened when flashing the ROM from this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/watch-2/development/rom-huawei-watch-2-4g-l-09s-global-t3602205
First, it took a very long time for the device to show up with adb devices. There was a device there, but it wasn't listing every time I connected. As soon as I did, I went ahead but probably shouldn't have. Second, the fast boot process seemed to go along as normal (I have flashed a few ROMS, but never on a watch) until it came to the system. The system fast boot process took seconds....not longer than bootloader, boot, etc.... That is something I have not experienced before and thought it may have to do with a smaller system for android wear, but in fact it is not that small. After that, well it is bricked, but at least showing as a qualcomm disk.
I guess I have to wait until the recovery bootloader (firehose, rawprogram etc..) is leaked for the LEO-DLXX device. There is no possibility of returning the device or paying for service since it was bought in China and brought to Canada where it hasn't even been released yet.

Yes everytime I tried to flash the .mbm file I get the sahara protocol error saying it is 0 bytes.
I also tried draining the battery fully and I switched between many desktop's
And still no luck
And quick question: my friend has the same watch. Can i do something with that to fix my own?
Has anyone successfully flashed the Huawei Watch 2 Pro (LEO-DLXXU)?
I'm keen to get my watch compatible with Play store apps rather than Huawei App Store, but I'd be keen to hear from someone who has been successful.

same here, i just wish someone would help us find the right files for the 4G version.
Same problem with my LEO-DLXX. I noticed that 1 of 3 files needed to flash has wrong name
rawprogram_unsparse.xml , nor rawprogram0.xml
Is there a problem with this?
