[Resolved] Clockwork ,root small tutorial for zte u950

this tutorial will help you root and install clockwork recovery and it is not my creation .you can find the tutorial here
the creator of the topic on this forum is to be given thnks for the collective info.myself i gathered all the infos here
if you suceed and install recovery on zte u950 probably you will see a chinese recovery menu ,as the huwai quad core use the same geno mod recovery the explanation of the recovery is as follow.
to flash custom rom follow steps 3-4-5.
[*] Reboot system now
[*] Select zip to flash/install
[*] Wipe data
[*] Wipe cache
[*] Backup and restore
[*] Flash memory/Format
[*] Advanced setting
[*] Turn off phone

3. Scroll to select option 3 (Wipe data), confirm the wipe
4. Scroll to select option 4 (Wipe cache), confirm the wipe as well
5. Scroll to select option 2 (Select zip to flash/install)
I am not to blame if you didnt follow the steps correctly as i am not a dev myself .but i did search a lot for those infos so a thnks button if all is ok will be appreciated

How can i remove cwm recovery.
Or revert back to stock recovery

Hi, I want to know whether following standard steps can be followed with this recovery when you want to flash new ROM
1) Go To CMW Recovery
2) Wipe Data/Factory Reset And Wipe Partition
3) From Advance Menu Do Dalvik Catch Clear
4) From Advance Menu Do Battery State Clear
5) Go in Mount And Storage select FORMAT SYSTEM
6) Select Install From SD and Select File And Click YES
However, Aftabloney's thread is showing only following steps.
Reboot into recovery by pressing vol up + power on simultaneously
** Select data/factory reset
** Now select Install zip from SDcard > Choose Zip from Sdcard > Killer_DroidV3.0 beta.zip
Is there any further advantage in terms of speed and smooth operation of device if we follow steps 1 to 6 as outlined above? Or while flashing Aftab's Killer droid ROM, I should follow his instructions only. By far now I have flashed killer droid ver 2 and later ver 3 ROMs by aftab's method and it is working. However pls tell me if there is any other advantage in following steps 1 to 6. Does the CWM recovery supports these steps?

[Q] Aroma installer wont open when i flash eXperiance Lite V2.1 on my xperia u?

I have CWM-Based_Recovery v5.5.0.4 installed on my xperia uand i rooted by xperia phone using Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry_v30 method. First I do" wipe data factory reset”, then “wipe cache partition” and at last “wipe dalvick cache”.Then i click on install zip on sd card and then choose zip form sd card.Then i select this rom and flash it.Its say opening package etc etc then screen displays opening Aroma installer.Now beyond this nothing happens.Screen just goes black.Aroma installer does'nt launch.I tried many times to flash this Rom but the same thing happens again and again. it says starting aroma launcher and then the screen goes black and randomly vibrates every now i then.So i just remove the battery and go in recovery mode again and restore my xperia u and reboot it...Can anyone please tell me the solution?What should i do to flash this rom on my xperia u?

I have rooted my galaxy gt s5360. i was able to see su user app in app list. Then I installed cwm 6.0.5.3 in my phone. the same was successfully installed. But the phone is not booting. when I try boooting, it goes to cwm page & when I click "reboot system now", it takes me to an error msg as stated below with YES/NO options as below;
"Root access missing. Root devi. This cannot be undone"
No
Yes-Root device (system/xbin.
& which ever among above two option.... takes me to cwm main page with options as shown below;
reboot system now
install zip
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition
backup and restore
mounts and storage
advanced
I AM WORRIED WHETHER MY PHONE IS BRICKED.

instal lineage(cm) 14.1 in samsung galaxy *(gt-s7582)

Hey friends if you have a samsung galaxy s duos 2(gt-S7582). File these steps
Things required
*Lineage os 14.1
*Samsung s duos 2(gt-s7582)(with twrp recovery in it)
*And most important brain??
1).first download file from bottom link
2) place in your SD card
3) boot into custom recovery (TWRP Is recommended).to go to recovery switch of your phone and after complete switching off of phone press home button power key and volume+ simultaneously
4)first backup if needed
5).noww select wipe then wipe data and swipe to erase everything
Now,back and then select advance ad choose the top five to erase and swipe to erase
6).now select install and choose the lineage 14.1 file and flash the file by swiping after installation press back and reboot system now
