Hi, I'm trying to run the Android Device Policy app on Bluestacks so I can manage the device by https://enterprise.google.com/android/experience/overview.
However for some reason the app cannot complete its set up and it shows an error: "Your System cannot be managed by this app. Please contact your administrator."
I have tried to root and allow all the permission to the app, but it still does not work.
Any suggestion?
Regards,
I had encountered this problem previously, and after a deeper Google search found out that there is a way to make this work.
Don't try to apply the policy through the Android notification
Open Play Store
Search for Android Device Policy
Install it
Open it
Set your lock screen if requested in the Policy app
Once complete, your device should be registered and able to sync.
NOTE: I only have tried this on the new Beta 5 version of BlueStacks. It worked great.

Hi Everyone,
I bought Soyes 7S+ from Gearbest, Android 6.0, impossible to add google account, when trying to access Play Store I get ""There was a problem communicating with Google servers".
Troubleshooting done so far, based on multiple web-based articles:
1. 2-step verification confirmed to be OFF
2. Cache cleared for all Google-related apps, same error after reboot
3. Google Play Services 8.7.03 reinstalled with 9.4.52, installed (multiple other versions were giving error "issues with parsing the package)", now gets popup error "Google Play services won't run unless you update Google Play services", still "There was a problem communicating with Google servers".
4. Rooted the device with Kingroot 5.3.7, which - surprisingly - says my system is Android 5.1. Tried changing values in host file, default was 127.0.0.1 localhost, tried other with "127.0.0.1 localhost, in secod line #127.83.240.239 android.clients.google.com mtalk.google.com" - still no luck. Tried removing the host file completely and rebooting - still no luck
5. Tried connecting via different networks - still nothing
6.Tried installing PrebuiltGMSCore.apk, nothing.
7.Wiped to factory settings - nothing
Installation from unknown sources is ON
USB debugging is ON
OEM unlocking is ON
Since this was one was likely shipped from China to Poland, I am suspecting some locally modded, not allowing Google Play Store access android to be installed; thought about installing some international version of android but sadly I have no skill or knowledge on how to get it done right without bricking the device.
Maybe someone managed to get it fixed? Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.
Hi everyone, I'm using an open source of car system with android auto integration in my car (https://getcrankshaft.com/). I have problem with non google play apps (like spotify) on android auto there are not listed, I've already try all the normal fixes I found on internet but nothing change.
Before all I've already enable developer option in AA, unknown sources and try to install manually the app via adb (but I have permission problem) and I can't solve the problem. Anyone can help me?
I'm using a AA version for smartphone (https://play.google.com/store/apps/...android.projection.gearhead.phonescreen&gl=IT) to use the phone as server.
Hope you can help me.
Hello forum.
I have the Huawei Mediapad X2 (Gem 703-L) EMUI 4.0.3
Model from 2006
So after 5 years i decided to give it to mother...
But after format all Google apps and playstore disappeared.
Any suggestions please how to reinstall the Playstore ?
I tried to download the Playstore apk but the phone does not permit the installation of any application that is not downloaded from Hiapp.
please somebody can help ?
I don't know what was the problem but after a second format now I can install the Google applications.
What do you mean by the word of 'format'? Factory reset?
In addition to enabling the setting option of 'unknown source', make sure that you have disabled the option of 'external source apps check' or have enabled the 'airplane mode' when you try to install the Play Store apk.
Thanks for the info James.
Yes I mean reset...
Hey guy's, I hope somebody can help me out here. I can't find any explanation on internet. I want to install an apk from the local storage on my Rog phone 5 ( android 12,un rooted) .
In the old days it was pretty simple, just a slide to activate the "allow unknown sources", click on the apk file and it would install. Now on the rog phone 5 in the apps¬ifications, special app-acces, install unknown apps it only shows a few apps that I can give permissions to install from unknown sources. Like Chrome, file manager, gmail, brave browser etc. ( see picture). So I give the file manager or brave the permission, restart the phone, go to the apk in the file manager but it won't install.
It will just show the contents of the apk. If I select the apk I can remove it, rename it, compress it, anything but install it.
I can choose open with brave but still nothing happens. I tried downloading an app in the playstore to install apk files but it won't even list the apk file. I have no clue why they made something that used to be so easy so complicated. So I hope somebody can enlighten me how to install an apk on this phone. Thanks in advance!
Have you enabled install unknown apps in developers options ? Special app access allows you to allow/not allow individual apps to install unknown apk files. I think you have to enable it in developer options for the native installer first. I may be wrong but it's worth checking.
I'll go check if the option is there and let you know. Tnx man.
The only thing I found was " force app allowance on external drive" and but it changed nothing.

you could try
Code:
adb shell settings put secure install_non_market_apps 1
adb shell settings put secure unknown_sources_default_reversed 1
that would be from terminal on pc or you could install settings database editor from play store and grant it permissions via adb and you will have gui to change system settings
Could you please walk me through how to do this? Tnx.

Ok, first I guess I need to ask some questions. Have you tried a different file manager, installed thru play store ? How many .apk files have you tried to install ? If it is just the one app that you have in storage it may be corrupt. Have you tried a fresh copy of it ? Is it an old app and is it compatible with your Android version ?
I don't know what I was thinking, that isn't in developer options anyway, it's in security. It would seem odd for them to remove the ability to install personal apk.
