I'm still on FRD-L09C432B101, haven't had the need to update yet everything just works great. I WAS rooted. Now with nougat around the corner I thought i would prepare my phone for that creamy deliciousness. Said and done i began working on it last night by unrooting through the superuser app (not my smartest move maybe but I couldn't adb and push stock recovery, I just kept getting an error) so I tried to flash recovery.img through twrp which allowed me to try the dload folder method. But everytime I boot into erecovery the phone wants to use wifi and download the update but fails. So now I'm stuck with no root and what seems like no stock recovery for some reason and to top it off unable to use adb.
I think I need some expert help here?
Hey,
Follow this, it should be ok :
- Turn of your phone
- Put the right update.app in the dload folder at the root of your SD CARD
- Plug your USB to your computer
- Press Volume Down and Power button, you will boot in bootloader mode
- Flash the original recovery with fastboot command
- Unplug your USB cable
- Reboot the phone with volume down, volume up and power button pressed
Your phone should update to original.

Is your bootloader unlock ? You can check it in bootloader mode.
Just in case,, have you tried to lauch CMD in administrator ?

The FRD-L0xCxxx is your phone model
the B101 in this example is the software version, you need the one that matches your model
and has a higher number than yours for example the next update from B101 is likely B201
search the forums for the firmware or use Huawei firmware finder
guys can someone help me? I should do a clean installation of the system through the "dload" procedure, I state that I'm now using l-09c432b401 (bootloader unlocked) passed a thousand times by various custom rom, flash several stock firmware but they gave me errors, I finally solved partially through the PC flashing boot / vendor.img partition .. here is the phone, but missing various functions .. the point is that I can not install the firmware via the original recovery because it hangs at 5% ... all tried the firmware ... Thanks

I can not get into recovery mode.
What is happening is a loop. I get booted into the fastboot mode and when i click on recovery, the screen goes black and then right back to fastboot mode.
I read all the related posts, and nothing helped. I downloaded Nexus Root Toolkit v1.6.2 and tried to use it as well but it didn't fix my issue. i took a screen shot of the message from NRT. When i get that message, the phone is just sitting at the fastboot menu.

First off, download the attached zip.Extract the zip to your desktop. Open up command prompt and navigate to the folder where you extracted the files. Now connect your phone to your computer and boot into fastboot. In command prompt, type in
fastboot devices
Click to collapse
It should list your phone.
Then type in
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Click to collapse
Now you can boot to recovery on your phone. Download a ROM you like and flash it from the recovery. Make sure to wipe data/cache before flashing the ROM though.
Lemme know if it works.
try another computer to install recovery back or just rom manager by wi-fi.

So I finally figured it out. I do apologize for how vague and un informative the question was. It was a case of me needing to dig a little more.
Here is what i did.
I had installed a Rom Manager, CyonGenMod when i rooted the phone. They had a recovery img in the app which i used. I think googled around for cyogenmod 10 and ICS 4.0.4. Then i realized i had to find google apps, so i could add my contacts from gmail. Then it was just messing around with bootloader to get the right setup.
I do appreciate the help, y'all put me on the right path. Made me find answers to the right questions. Again I apologize for not doing more due diligence.
Thanks for the help
Hi guys,
I'm in a trouble....
I own a TL10 phone..
flashed international system and recovery and fastboot..
after rebooting..

tried to connect to hisuite tool but it doesn't recognise the device...
tried a restore holding power + vol+ + vol-
but it fails..
any help?
Did you tried 3buttons method? If now working, you must find the way to flash the stock recovery (correct one) trough adb commands (provided that your PC recognise the HAM7 via USB).

3buttons procedure works with stock recovery only. Download your ROM (right one) from the official website, extract the RECOVERY trough the proper software (search in this forum for it) and glash the stock recovery in place via adb commands.

Sadly no. I dont think there is a solution for that at least for now, because the missing files or modules cannot be flashed via fastboot i think.
I flashed all img files I can, but it didnt work. May be a custom rom with zip file can work, but there is no custom rom with android-info.txt for Mate 7.

Hi did you try one-key recovery via Hisuite i think this will resolve you problem
Download the chinese version of hisuite (4.0 i think), in the welcome panel there is a button called one-key recovery this will flash the rom of your device.
you have to put your device in fastboot mode
hope this will help you
I've tried like heck to find the answer before asking but to no avail. I'll keep it short:
- Phone will not boot, comes up to blue Honor boot screen, shuts off and immediately comes back on, off, on, off
- Can get to Fastboot (blurry image attached)

- device is locked, usb debugging is off (was attempting return to stock)
- CMD shows fastboot device but won't perform any flash or unlock commands (failed: remote command not allowed)
- have yet to get to recovery or erecovery
Is this trick in the button combos? I've tried them all repeatedly, is there a single instant I have to hit them/let them go?
Sorry for yet another help me thread, but I'm lost.

Ok, ill try it tomorrow. Thank you.
I bought a used OPO which already had an unlocked bootloader and lineageOS 14.1 installed, my goal is to root and to do so I need to activate the option with twrp (the SuperSU already is on the LineageOS 14.1, but needs to be activated with twrp)
unfortunately, when I flash twrp, I am unable to get it to boot into recovery I have tried various key combinations, volUP+power gets me into fastboot (how i flashed it), volDOWN+power seems to power down before anything happens.
this is how i flashed twrp
Turn the phone off. Then boot it into fastboot mode by holding volume up + power.
Rename the recovery file that you downloaded above to recovery.img. *Make sure that you rename it to recovery.img NOT recovery.img.img* Remember that this file should be placed in the platform-tools folder inside of the android-sdk-windows folder on your desktop.
Open a new command prompt and run the following commands:
Code:
cd Desktop/android-sdk-windows/platform-tools
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Once the flash has completed, Don't use the "Fastboot Reboot" Command Instead Unplug Your phone then Manually turn it off by pressing and holding power button until it switches off. Now to enter your newly installed custom recovery, hold volume down + power. The phone should boot into recovery mode. Now that you have a custom recovery, you may continue to the final step.
Close the command prompt window.
Turn off the phone completely. Then press and hold volume down and power. Release when the first screen comes on.
Alternatively enable Developer options (Settings - About phone - press Build Number several times to enable) then enable Advanced Restart in Developer options and when you press Power button and Restart you then get the option for Restart, Soft Restart, Recovery and Bootloader.
the only options in advanced restart are power off restart airplane mode my gmail account and create new user, this might be because i am using lineageOS and not the stock OS.
when i do the volDOWN+power, the one plus logo appears, the screen closes, then the logo reappears then It is as if i had oppened the phone normaly.
Should i just give up and put the phone back to 100% stock? That ought to work but i<m hoping its not necessary.

Some people have reported that touch isn't working and partitions aren't mounting properly. I tried to fix most issues and uploaded a new version. I do not own this device personally - so i can not test the fixes. Please give me feedback for the updated version.
I just got my GPD XD+ today, thanks for the TWRP build but on mine, even with the current build (2018/04/01), I can't perform any actions. Touch still seems not to work for me. I can't get past TWRP asking me "Keep System Read-only?" Let alone see if partitions are loading correctly.
Everything is in portrait mode which is awkward for this device. What about landscape? Shouldn't it be 1280x720 rather than 720x1280?

It would appear that my touch controls are inverted... so the fix for others, seems to have inverted my own.
**Update 2***
Well... after realizing the touchscreen was reversed for me, I was able to slide the "Swipe to allow modifications" slider but after that, I chose to reboot out of recovery since the likelyhood of me hitting something by mistake with the controls reversed was high. Being very careful, I was able to tell it to reboot to system and now the system hangs at the GPD logo.. which no longer animates... I can no longer boot into anything but recovery and fastboot.
Any theories as to what has happened? Does anyone have a Clean Stock ROM of the plus model so I can start over using adb?
**Update 3**
PsyOps pointed me towards some stock images at "forum.gpd.hk/t3-the-latest-firmware-of-gpd-game-console" and I'm back in business. Had to flash more than just recovery and boot.. had to flash system as well for some reason.

Some people have reported that touch isn't working and partitions aren't mounting properly. I tried to fix most issues and uploaded a new version. I do not own this device personally - so i can not test the fixes. Please give me feedback for the updated version.

I have the same situation here.
It happened after unlocked the bootloader, so it's nothing to do with the recovery.
The adb commend return the error: device '(null)' not found.
I can't check the "recovery" box. It doesn't do anything. And the first methode doesn"t work
EDIT : nevermind, I did it but same problem as Busted77

My device is now stuck in the fastboot menu. It says I can navigate the menu using volume up and down but pressing either of those doesn't do anything and I can't seem to power off the device by holding the power button. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Same thing here. Now waiting for the battery to empty. What happens after that? Will it work fine and the bootloader be unlocked?

I was being dinner and used adb commands instead of fast boot. If you have your device plugged into a computer with fastboot setup you can run "fastboot reboot" and everything should work.

Wait for the battery runs out, then recharge, it works fine and the bootloader is unlocked, the first boot will take longer and a few reboot.
And I find that any time you issue fastboot command from you pc, the xd plus will stuck and you have to wait the battery runs out.
I installed the Magisk use fastboot method, stuck again, and need to wait for the battery runs out, recharged, and evertyhing ok then.
There's another root method on Chinese forum (flash supersu pack by recovery), since I rooted by installin Magisk, I didn't try that.

No, when I stuck in the fastboot menu, the adb command return error that no device can find, I have to unplug battery or wait for the battery runs out.
"fastboot reboot" worked perfectly for me!
Fastboot stuck
Same problem here.
I installed the drivers but got the error.
Now my device is in fastboot mode but fastboot reboot etc. don't work.. And I just can't turn it off..
Im really sad.
Windows 10 x64
So.. At least I could fix the problem, I installed the Drivers (had do disable driver signature) and installed your TWRP Mod successfully but the Screen is mirrored! U can use it but its very tricky.. I could open "Install" But if I open it, twrp could not load any data it called "0MB Space" and yeah after reboot, my GPD XD Plus DON'T start..

I had the same issue, could use it inverted and mirrored but after running it and not doing anything with it, I could no longer boot into system... Only into recovery. If I tried to boot into system, the boot animation would never animate and the system would hang.
See PsyOps' reply to my question of where to find a stock rom. You can either use the provided tool or you can use adb commands to reflash your system partition... At least for me I had to flash system... Flashing boot and recovery (removing TWRP) didn't work alone...

Thanks for the advice, I spoke with him too and he already gave me the guide how to boot into Recovery Mode and then fastboot (Hold VOL+ & On Off Untill Menu apperas, then boot into recovery, then if the android guy appears press On/Off and THEN VOL+, so you're in the normal recovery mode for all the other poor user's )
And I flashed system.img, boot and stock recovery and then it booted up..
The only thing is, that I think that the SD card won't mount correctly anytime and if I plug it to the PC, I dont see the SD card and big files (like the StockROM Update 1.10 abort before its finished).

Could you please close the thread and delte the download link? Not even once your TWRP worked, please don't share the file anymore. Other user's will brick their device too.
