I am on RR 7.1 ROM.I have sd card which is only readable here.I can't save anything on SD Card.I used to know a way to fix it on Lollipop.But i think it's not working anymore..Can anyone help me how can i give write access of media on SD Card

If im rooted can i switch sd cards will anything happen to the phone cause i wanna upgrade my sd card because i wanna install roms and partition my sd card.

yes u can switch....root changes are applied to ur internal mem

Sup guy's can anyone help me out i'm having a problem don't know if it's with my SD card or the phone..
when ever i insert the SD card in to my htc evo 4g lte i get ( Damage SD Card ) when i go into the setting then storage under SD card. i have two options it say's mount sd card or format. when i hit mount nothing happens, i don't know if it's my phone or if it's just the SD card going bad
i have a 32g micro sd card with a lot of stuff on it.. i really need to find a way to fix it with out doing a format to save what i have on the card...

So I have a sprint Samsung galaxy s5 and I just started running it on the resurrection remix ROM which is amazing works perfect but I'm having issues formatting my SD card I actually bought a new SD card and formatted it right away in the device but I wasn't able to move apps and then when I wiped the phone and didn't format it it allows me to move applications before I formatted it and in the storage menu but doesn't show up in any file manager can anyone help with this problem how do I make my SD card visible and still move apps to the SD card

Try formating the SD card in a SD card reader on a PC. Then put it in your android and format it there.
Also did you just put your SD card in after you installed your ROM? Because I formatted mine on a stock ROM.

I have installed some costume roms and am happy with them. But when it comes to storage i have just 140mb free :crying: so thats not enought
one time my brother was able to install a costum rom into sd card so it booted from sd card and i had more memory(i had my sd card memory about 1gb free memory) and when i installed another coutume rom the ROM that was inside the sd card was deleted. Now i dont know how to install a costume rom inside of the sd card again :/ can sombody help me?? Just want to install roms into sd card so i can have more free space
Iv searched and i read that i need to have a .img rom but i couldnt find 1 :/ Anybody can help how to install a rom inside of sdcard ??
(I asked my brother but he said he forgot, he installed rom inside sd card long ago so yeah)
Hello, as the title insists, I would like to know if there is a way to have my downloads save directly to my SD card. I have my pictures set there but I want my Chrome downloads to automatically download to my SD.
I know you can format the SD card as internal storage in Marshmallow but that really defeats the purpose that I want it to do.
I need to be able to download straight to the SD WITHOUT ENCRYPTING MY SD CARD. So I can easily put the SD card with downloaded files to my computer.
I'm running Cyanogenmod 13 6.0.1 rooted.
Someone please help!
