I have been searching for methods to connect my SAMSUNG GALAXY GEAR 2 with MOTO G4 PLUS or with IPHONE 6. I had an LG G3 for which I have managed to connect my GEAR 2 with the help of a youtube video "HOW TO PAIR YOUR LG G3 TO SAMSUNG GEAR 2 NEO"
While I am trying to do the same steps with my Moto G4 PLUS, I am not able to open the Gear Manager app as it is showing as Gear Manager has stopped always
The Samsung Gear app available in the playstore/app store is not finding my Gear 2 as it is simply showing as Searching. Please help guys.

I recently just purchased a Samsung Tab S2 SM-T715Y(which I had sold off my Samsung TAB S 8.4 LTE SMT-705).
Now I can't Connect or pair my samsung Gear 2 (with camera) with my Samsung Tab S2. I did tried few versions of samsung gear apk, but however they all doesnt work.
The error message just keep popping up " Check if your phone is compatible and if the Samsung Gear app needs to be updated. Then try again."
Please Help!! I sign up this forum and I would hope anyone who knows what to do.. Please please let me know!

Same deal here with a Galaxy Tab S 8.4 (TM705). Tried the newest Samsung Gear Manager from the Galaxy Apps. The Samsung Gear installs fine but when I want to pair with the newly factory reset Gear S2 it says after a while that the device would be incompatible. The Gear S2 says "Setting up... " after accepting the bluetooth passkey. It works fine with a Samsung S5 Mini though. Both devices are on Android 5.0.4. I also tried changing the build.prop as described in different forums to get different phones to connect to former Gears but it did not help. Is there a trick to solve this?

I'm using a Xiaoni Mi Note Pro. Rom is 6.4.7 xiaomi.eu , bootloader is unlocked
I'm given a Gear S2 as a gift from my partner. But sadly it is unable to connect with my phone. even both devices are recognized each other via Bluetooth then on the phone say "Downloading fail, try again...." . I tried to connect the watch with my wife' Samsung Galaxy Note 4, and my mother's Sony Xperia Z5, and both phones are pairing well with the watch without any problem.
I think Xiaomi phone is not compatible with Galaxy Gear S2 as it is not supported to be global phone
I did search around google but no help
Hope anybody have the same situation and share your experiences

Guys help me please. I just bought a gear s3 and connected with Iphone 6s Plus however Iphone couldn't connect samsung galaxy app store in the gear application. I have been searching google for 2 hours. Can anyone help me?

solved: It was about my wifi. Its can connect while wifi off. yeah interesting but its true. I use mobile data for gears s3.
