I'm looking for a smartwatch
My options are gear S3 and lg watch sport (which isn't on sale for Mexico yet)
Obviously my phone doesn't appear on the compatibility list for gear S3, that's why I'm coming here for assistance.
Anyone knows if my phone will it work fine?

Are there any ROMs for the S3 that are compatible with the Galaxy Gear yet? My son wants the Gear for Christmas, and I wasn't sure if it would work with his phone yet. Thanks.
Hi, I am expecting to get my OTA upgrade to Android 4.4.2 soon for my Note 8 GT-5110.
Has anybody tested this configuration (4.4.2 on Note 8; which model should not matter) with the Gear 2 (or Neo)? I am wondering whether Gear Manager works now perfectly (but the phone capabilities if it is the WiFi only model of course) and whether you can see Samsung Gear 2 apps in the Samsung App store?

I'm thinking about buying the Samsung Gear S3. Does aynone know wether or not it works with the Honor 8?
I have the gear s2 watch and it runs with my honor 8 just fine. You have to install the samsung gear app. I am sure it should run with your s3
hi i have the s 8 plus and gear 3 in uk ,i have managed to download samsung pay on my phone ,but can find no way of installing it on my gear 3 ,any advise please
You can only do what all other UK Gear S3 users are doing..... wait until Samsung release it for our watches.
They have enabled it for Gear S3 users in other countries. They've also released it to non UK purchased Gear S3s within the UK, but sadly not for UK owners who bought in the UK.
The app is clearly available & working on the S3, so hopefully they'll let us have it soon!

POST YOUR PHONE, ORIGINAL PHONE CARRIER, AND YOUR GEAR S2 YOU HAVE IT PAIRED WITH, AND IF THERE ARE ANY PROBLEMS (email, notifications, apps, calls, etc. not working).
P.S. I'm especially interested to know if someone has a moto z/play/force that is functionally paired with a gear s2.
