I have a problem with my Paris X device. I had an unofficial rom and I wanted to flash the official one. I followed all of the instructions on the ulefone-s website. When I started the flashing process I got a message: "BROM ERROR: S_INVALID_BBCHIP_TYPE (0x3EB)"
Since that my phone is like dead. I cant switch on, I cant either flash again because my driver disappears in 2 seconds and I got the same error everytime.
Please help me, I would really approciate it. :fingers-crossed:

During a ROM flash yesterday I got a STOP unsigned driver message. I clicked continue but I've ended up with a persistent ERROR [302] : UPDATE ERROR message.
At first I thought I'd bricked my phone. No matter what I did or I couldn't sort it and I even tried a search here on XDA but couldn't find anything useful that worked.However I'm lucky enough to have more than one PC so I simply flashed the phone on another PC.
This worked first time so I've now successfully flashed the phone. I'm posting here as it my help someone else in a similar situation. I still haven't found out why ROM update utilities no longer work on my main PC but I'll get to the bottom of it when I've more time.
I had the same problem too and thought that my phone is bricked. It wasn't a good feeling at all right?
I tried to install cwm recovery on my lenovo k3 note (build- VIBEUI_V2.5-1522_7.162.1_DEV_K50-T5) but after i'm putting it in download and connecting the phone it says
"BROM ERROR : S_BROM_STARTCMD_FAIL (2005)
[Brom] can not pass bootrom start command! possibly power up early.
[HINT:]"
I tried reinstall everytihng but nothing works for me.
I realy need this for root cause I dont have play services, could you help me out here guys???

I had rooted my xzu with no prblms....had been using it gor a week had even upgraded to lolipop. Then when i tried to flash my device with a custom rom it did not start again. When i press the power button all it does was vibrate. No led indication light blinking no screen nthng just vibrated. I even tried to recover through s1 tool by following some posts on the forum. For that i had to disassemble my xzu to use the test point. But trying to flash it with xzu ftf it gave error ' resource msm 8274 rom error' i then downloaded s1tool frm a different link then it gave me error hardware not detected. What shud i do to start my phone again, is there any other method to start it

At start, Happy New Year for everyone.
I've got Tablet Manta MID713 on MT6572. Mobo version is cp-706-mb-v1.3 .
I bricked it while I was trying to flash with wrong rom. After it I get 4032 error in sp flash tool (BROM ERROR: S_FT_ENABLE_DRAM_FAIL).
Had anyone any experience with tab like that and such error? I read that is preloader issue, I've downloaded some roms for that mobo but I've got error 4032 with every of them.
Help, please if u can.

I've the same probleme, do you find a solution?
In my case i solved the issue by using a different setup. The error message hints at a possible timing issue with the device powering up before flashing takes place. Most tutorials online show how to use SP flash tool under Windows so i figured i'd run it in a Win7 VM. Unfortunately after the phone gets connected Virtualbox needs a second or two too long. During that time TWRP kicks in already (the phone was stuck in a recovery bootloop, which was the reason i wanted to re-flash the factory rom). So instead, i tried the Linux version of SP flash tool (on my Linux Mint laptop). That worked.
As a side note, the Linux version didn't work immediately, it complained about missing shared library libpng12.so
I got it working after installing it like this:
