Hi guys!
I have received lenovo yoga tablet 2 1050L from someone who has received it back from repair shop. It has suffered liquid damage and stopped working. After the repair it came back live but we have been told to make sure it never should discharge completely. Obviously it did and when we try to turn it on we receive a blue writing inside what looks like a bios box saying: certificate verification failed!!! Press any key to continue.
I have tried to put it in recovery mode to no avail.
I have tried to plug it to pc and put it to fastboot mode to no avail. Once the rom starts sedning any data, error with the same message appears.
On normal boot it shows lenovo logo, android logo, and if you press any of the volume keys 15 partitions of internal drive. After that i have a command shell:/
Cant plug keyboard in as it doesnt see it.
Any thoughts?

Hello, I've been the whole day reading about this problem, and didn't found anything, have been 8 hours trying to restore my phone, but unsucsefully.
I've tryed to install a Custom ROM on my Tinji 9300, but I selected to Flash the "PRELOADER" option, and now I'm unable to fix it...
The device connects to the PC in Recovery Mode pressing Volume UP & Volume Down & Home & Power Button and being the battery unplugged. After I plug the USB and the the Battery and recognizes the phone, it's not totally Bricked. The Screen doesn't light up and nothing happens, but it writes on FlashTool.
I attached the screen of the error, I don't know what to do anymore, I am very tired and don't have any ideas...
This is the exact model I bought:
aliexpress(dot)com/item/Newest-Tianji-i9300-S3-MTK6577-Android-4-1-1-3G-Smartphone-512MB-4GB1-2GHz-4-6/709668717.html
Thanks for your help guys...
Please, someone help.
I experinced the same error message while trying to flash Alcatel OT 918..searched for solution but never got any.
At last i flashed a custom ROM(Andread 2.0) which worked after attaching a new IMEI coz at first phone couldn't connect to network due to IMEI issue.
But then my phone can't go back to the original ROM.
If u find help on the DRAM error please share.

I've broken my phone! I was rooted, and was installing a custom rom. It worked fine for a few hours, and now the phone won't boot up in normal, recovery or fastboot modes. All I get is the android logo and then a white screen for a few seconds, and this repeats until i get fed up and turn it off again.
My device is a Vodafone 785 and my pc is running Windows 7 with the latest drivers installed and updated.
When I plug the phone into the computer, it tries to register but the flashtool says the device is not recognized, so I can't re-install my recovery image.
I've been at this for about three weeks now, and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get this working again. Can someone please help?

Hi, try this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help/vodafone-smart-4-mini-killed-vodafone-t2869185
Yes I tried that one and most of the other threads about this damn phone. It won't boot in recovery. I've tried Power button and volume up AND Power button and volume down. All I get is android logo for a few seconds and white screen for another few seconds and this will loop until the end of time. Using SP Flashtool, the computer won't recognize the device when I plug in the USB with either the battery removed or inserted into the phone.

Unfortunately, it sounds like the device may be unrecoverable.
I'm not for giving up. Somehow I'll find a way to fix this thing. :fingers-crossed:

Hey everyone,
Samsung Galaxy s5
Verizon
Fully stock as of October 10th 2015 (no sure the exact android operating system)
Not rooted or modified in any way
My wife's phone decided to kill itself yesterday. The phone worked fine in the morning then all of a sudden it stopped working. When you try to start the phone it will vibrate and nothing on screen shows up. After about 57 seconds (yes I timed it), the phone quickly displays:
ODIN: Flash read failure
ERROR: There is no pit binary
The phone then goes into a boot loop and repeats this process.
She did not approve any updates or anything, it just happened. I am assuming an app updated itself and the app was majorly corrupted and messed with the kernel?
I have tried the variety of reset options (hold power+Volume up+home screen) and it does nothing. Removing the battery and reinserting it does nothing as well. I tried to boot without the SD card and we get the same results. I can't get the phone into the menu to select recovery or anything.
When I plug the phone into my computer nothing happens. The computer does not recognize it and the phone does not respond. The phone does charge the battery, how do I know? I as well have a galaxy s5 but mine is on ATT. We swapped batteries and we could see that her phone was charging the battery.
I plugged my phone into my computer and it recognizes immediately. I can get into my phone and the SD card from the computer so that rules out the computer as a problem.
Is this hard or soft bricked?
Will a USB Jig force it to give me the download screen or recovery mode or is this thing dead?
Is there a way I can boot from the SD card even though I cant get into the recovery screen?

Sorry for the late response.
It's a strange issue. If you really have changed/flashed/updated nothing, you should first claim warranty (if still available) and send it for repair to the shop/Verzion/Samsung support.
If no warranty, then you may register on xda and ask in the Verizon Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum ...
... but if you can boot neither into download mode (Hold Volume DOWN + HOME + POWER) nor into recovery mode (Hold Volume UP + HOME + POWER), it sounds like a hard-brick.
It could also be a screen issue ... but most likely nothing you can fix yourself ... without additional hardware and/or help.
So I recommend to search for a mobile repair/support shop.
Good luck !
Hi all,
I have an issue with my 3 year old Yoga B600. It stopped working yesterday. When i tried to unlock screen it turned out that device had been off for the whole day. After pressing power button the Lenovo logo screen appears but it's not going any further. I kept tablet at logo screen for about 40 minutes and issue still persisted. When I try to open recovery mode by pressing power+volume up tablet just stops at logo. I have also tried to plug in my tablet to my think pad laptop but windows does not recognise it. Typing reboot recoevery in cmd after accessing adb replies with no device found. Please assist as my device has been useless since the issue occurance
Hi my fellow XDA people,
I recently got a Zenpad S 8.0 (Z580CA) for close to nothing and I loved the little thing. However it was still running 6.0.1 and I decided I wanted a custom ROM and root it. Starting with some guides how to unlock the bootloader I started with the whole ADB/Fastboot thing, but it got stuck and now I got a bricked device
The situation now:
Charging works fine
The tablet starts, but without the ASUS logo and immediately enters a bootloop with the following:
the Android robot with a hardhat
A USB image with the text: "No USB Cable connected!" (No matter if there is or isn't any USB cable connected)
To fix it I'm hoping to get to a recovery/droidboot menu to do a hard reset or update from SD or via a PC, but I've tried the following without any result:
Power + volume up
Power + volume down
Power + volume up + volume down
Drain the battery and one of the options above
Connecting to a PC and using adb/fastboot/asus flashtool
Unfortunately this option doesn't work, because the PC only recognizes the tablet for a second when the android man shows, but disconnects as soon as the " no usb cable connected!" is in screen.
A different Cable/PC makes no difference
I'm afraid it's really dead now, but I'm hoping anyone has an idea or finds this a challenge .
