Need help with root or custom recovery myPhone L-Line - Android General

Hello,
I need help with rooting my new device - myPhone l-line. This is typical Chinese phone rebranded by Polish company myPhone. It runs Android 5.1 on MediaTek MT6735M with 1 gigabyte of RAM and 3000mAh battery. I tried everything: oneclickroot, Kingroot (PC and APK), Kingoroot (PC and APK), framaroot (device not supported), towelroot (not vunerable to exploit), 360root, Baiduroot, rootkhp and many other metods and my device seems to have very good security background (i am simply amazed by the way, because this device is low-budget phone, about 80$ in my country) and there is no custom recovery to download. I have Oneplus 2 (previously Oneplus One and Nexus 5) phone as my second device and i am really into changing ROMs, recoveries, rooting and modding Android, but i don't know how to crack this myPhone. If there is no option to root this device, i will be very grateful if someone can tell me how can i remove bloatware without root, because this fone is full of uneccessary aplications, which occupy memory and slow down the phone. This is the only reason i want to root this smartphone. Please help me with rooting or if someone know how to compile custom recovery for this phone, i will be very grateful if someone could post it here, i will probably know how to change stock recovery in this phone to custom one (this device seems to have unlockable bootloader, thus i think that custom recovery can be sent to phone via fastboot). Thank You very much for any help and please forgive me if i make any mistake in this post, English is not my mother language. Below You can find full specs of this phone:
Processor: MediaTek MT6735M
Screen: 480 x 854 px (4,50")
RAM: 1GB
Internal memory: 8GB + microSD support
Dual SIM
Rear camera/front-facing camera: 5MPix/2MPix
LTE baseband support: 800, 1800, 2100 MHz
OS: Android 5.1 Lollipop
version of the baseband: MOLY.LR9.W1444.MD.LWTG.MP.V8.P28,2016/01/05 20:21
kernel: 3.10.65+ [email protected] #1, Tue Jan 5 20:31:51 CST 2016
complilation: L-Line_PL_V1.0.9
Android security patch: 2015-11-01
EDIT: I already unlocked bootloader, then i get scatter and stock recovery.img. If these files are needed to compile custom recovery or to get root access - feel free to PM me, because i can't post external links, but still i can send You these files via e-mail.
Cheers

Help with Natpc x210 also known as Kingpad Flytouch 9

Hi There
I'm fairly new to this android stuff but starting to get my head round some of it, I have a Natpc x210 also known as Kingpad Flytouch 9 I have managed to root it but now there are some things I would like to do
First I would like to back up my original firmware and from what I have read I need to use clockwork but I get an error message when I try and install this saying it isn't compatible with my tablet so does anyone know how I can do a backup of my original firmware (rom).
I would also like to edit the build prop to try and cure the incompatibility of some of the game on Google market, would it be possible for someone to tell me what exactly to edit in the build prop, I have heard of people putting there tablets into a loop and almost bricking them so I want to be sure what I'm doing.
And I would also like to know if there are any custom Roms I could try on this tablet.

I came across this post for rooting Rockchip 3066 tablets.
How to Root Teclast A10 Dual-core
The tool is all in Chinese but you don't need to read whats happening anyway. The tablet reboots itself twice. After the first reboot I had to hard reset.
These are the steps.
Install app on Windows (7Pro x64)
turn developer mode on device (Sumvision Cyclone Titan 9.7", Rockchip 3066, Mali400, Android 4.0.4)
plug the device in and wait for the tool to recognize it
click the button next to the only english word on the app 'ROOT'
wait a minute or two and the device reboots
i had to hard reset here
turn on device again
after a minute the tablet rebooted
walla, Rooted rockchip 3066 device.

I have managed to root my tablet (natpc x210) using this method but this is the way had to do it, to get my laptop win xp 32bit to see the tablet i had to install ADB Driver this is a setup file then I attached the laptop put the tablet in usb debug mode, then I started the software and it automatically sees the tablet, then just click root wait for it to finish and that is it rooted,
Worked a treat for me

Any advice on how to obtain root would be fantastic.
Update
Right, I read on another forum about Chinese phones and tablets with a certain type of chipset can have the firmware / rom copied directly from the device in the form of a scatter file which you then use to create the image on your pc.
I already tried the tools but unfortunately, the software is not compatible with my tablets hardware.
I have now sent an email to the manufacturer explaining that my tablet is stuck in a bootloop and even the reset pin and recovery modes won't work and have requested a copy of the original firmware to flash to my device.
If I am successful in obtaining a copy of the firmware / rom, is there a guide explaining how to modify it in order to root it and how to make a recovery compatible with my device.
At the moment, this is all relying on me getting the firmware / rom from the manufacturer but, if I am successful, I will share my modded + rooted rom with the rest of xda.
While I am waiting for a response from the manufacturer, does anyone know if it is possible to "rip" the current rom / bootloader / etc from the tablet, just in case they don't send me the files I requested?
Any news on this at all? I have an 8inch cello win 8 tablet that won't start up so any future info on cello tablets would be handy.
Any news?

How to backup Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 stock rom, Empire Electronix tablet RK3168?

Hello!
I was looking for a rom for my empire electronix 10.1" tablet, with an RK3168 inside.
Also to root it and to unlock the bootloader, but after really reading and reading...More as an month, i got stuck.
Rooting was only possible with rootking, supersu doesnt work.
Bootloader, cant find any info how to do this with my tablet. And trying to give commands in terminal it gave me no acces.
Rom, well il quess after searching the web even with my firmcode, it leaves me without any option..
But, with trying and reading how to make the 4.2.2 os work quicker i got some progress. There are still some tweaks but i dont wane go further on without..A backup.
I flash some android boxes and tweak it, but i thought its nice to make this older hardware working faster and i learn something besides it.
But i hope someone can help me a little bit, as we say in my country..Due to the many trees, i cant see the forrest anymore..
What i hope is possible is to first make a backup off my stock rom, android Jelly Bean 4.2.2.
What i understand correct me if i am wrong, is that most apps like Twrp an cmr and so on, are based on a fitting recovery of the stock rom..And if that's correct i cant use them, but are there maybe another tools or solution to do this.
I read about them, but for example mtk, is only for that brand not for my empire tablet.Or not..
Here some specs, and a thank you!

[GUIDE] ZTE Blade Vantage (Z839) Specs & Information

ZTE Blade Vantage (Z839)
Verizon Wireless (Prepaid)
Specs & Information Guide
The ZTE Blade Vantage (Z839), released by Verizon on October 5, 2017, is a budget smartphone packing a ton of mid to high end features, and is Verizon's very first LTE only smartphone. The Z839 has the following basic specifications:
Android Version: 7.1.1 Nougat
CPU Platform: Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 (MSM8909)
1.1 GHz Quad Core ARM Cortex A7 (32 Bit)
GPU: Qualcomm Adreno 304
Display: 5.0" TFT (FWVGA) LCD, 196ppi (480x854)
Battery Li-Ion 2500 mAh Removable
23.4h Talk; 312h Standby
Storage: 16GB (Supports up to 256GB external micro SD; OTG USB support)
RAM: 2GB
Weight: 5.29oz (150 g)
Connectivity: Qualcomm X5 LTE Modem
LTE Bands 2, 4, 5, 13 (LTE Cat 4)
Band 2 / 1900MHz (PCS)
Band 4 / 1700MHz (AWS)
Band 5 / 850MHz (Cellular)
Band 13 / 750MHz (Upper 700)
Bluetooth: 4.0
SIM: Nano
Headphone: 3.5mm Jack
Telephony: HD Voice; VoLTE; WiFi Calling
Camera 8MP Rear; 2MP Front
As to the filesystem of this device, the Z839 operates on an SD/eMMC partition type. The 16GB eMMC is comprised of a 3.5GB /system partition, a 2GB /cache partition, and an 8.7GB /userdata partition, all formatted by way of the ext4 file system. In addition, the eMMC is formatted with 27 additional partitions for various system and radio firmware functions (/modem, /boot, /recovery, etc.).
Initial inspection of the Z839 indicates that, following Verizon's typical policy, the bootloader is locked. I have not yet explored possible exploits or manufacturer support forums for unlocking the Z839 bootloader. Regarding root access, the Z839 features an Android 7.1 1 Nougat build which does not appear vulnerable to the typical one-click root methods, such as KingRoot or KingoRoot. Thus, in theory, and by a plethora of personal experience, it will be almost imperative, in order to gain root access of the stock OS, to unlock the Z839 bootloader. Subsequently, flashing a custom recovery should be possible. Then, a SuperSU or Magisk systemless root package may be installed from custom recovery to achieve superuser access of the stock Nougat ROM.
Because the Z839 is a newly released smartphone (October 5th, 2017), development on the device seems to be in the very early stages. For the price, my personal experience with this phone has been absolutely great. I intend this thread to be a gathering place for interested developers, contributors, and enthusiasts to explore, hypothesize, theorize, and eventually develop custom recoveries, ROMs, kernels, etc., for the ZTE Blade Vantage (Z839).
Oh hell yea !!!

As always, your continued support and assistance are beyond value. By the way, you may know the answer to this. I have a new BLU Studio M4 with a Spreadtrum sp7731 processor. I'm having trouble finding proper USB drivers for my Windows 10 PC. Are you familiar with this chipset?

Thank you. Yes that did work. Disabling kernel signing was necessary on my Windows 10 (64 bit) setup first.
Well I tried.
Okies so I did actually try to unlock the bootloader. I plugged it in then used the
Code:
adb devices
command, it showed up so then after trying
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
it just booted regularly. So I decided to use
Code:
adb reboot recovery
, it went into recovery mode. But when I tried
Code:
fastboot devices
nothing happened. I then tried to put it in to bootloader mode using the key combo and still
Code:
fastboot devices
did not do anything so this leads me to believe that for some reason the fastboot command doesn't recognise that there is anything attached. Not sure where to go from there, so I am calling it a night for now. I will likely try again sometime tomorrow or the next day as I have them off. Good luck to anyone who tries after this post.

Yeah, just like LG, ZTE oftentimes disables fastboot mode on their devices, making it all the more difficult -- if not nearly impossible -- to unlock the bootloader or achieve systemless root. If I can find stock firmware for the Z839, I will try to reverse engineer the boot chain, and try to find a workaround to get into fastboot.
Hello I have the ZTE Blade Vantage (z839) and when I click activate account on Message+ it says please wait starting service for like a second and goes off. It never activates. Please help
Hey @MotoJunkie01,
Any more news on this device?
Team Astr4y4L's looking at it again.
I'm doing Gofer Work.
@MotoJunkie01
How far is the development going on for this device and also does any know how to root this device?
from what I can tell Root will require some sort of exploit to unlock the bootloader.
it's msm8909 so there may be a firehose file for another zte msm8909 device and that may let us play with QFIL and QXDM.
I am digging everywhere trying to just find a stock firmware file for it. and coming up empty

Yeah, due to its locked down bootloader and lack of factory images, development has failed to get off the ground for this device. Shame too, it has great specs for a budget smartphone. I'm pretty sure there are some available firehose files for the Qualcomm chipset. I had the same thoughts. If the stock boot image could be patched for systemless root, there is a chance we could push the patched boot image with QFIL. But where to get stock images is the key.
Hi, ZTE BLADE VANTAGE only comes w/ LTE Mobile Network Settings. I'd like to know if it's going to be posible in the future to change this option to Global Setting (and how?) so it could be use internationally. Thanks..

Here is the B20 firmware package (Z839V1.0.0B20) it also includes the firehose for this device allowing you to use QPST/MiFlash to restore your device or to flash custom boot.img's among other things.

Separate download with just the firehose, rawprogram0.xml, patch0.xml

I have also uploaded a few other tidbits that aren't super useful but maybe will help someone down the line:
Verizon Repair APN tool (Could be useful if you break something)

ZPST for the ZTE MultiDL Tool (Not useful unless you have the ZTE MultiDL Tool)

Any updates on this device?
It's been a while since this device has come out, and now we have more available files for it. Is anyone interested in looking into maybe rooting this device?
Would be super awesome if someone could root it!! If I was any better at this I would give it a shot but I am not there yet lol!
When I power on my zte z839 am stuck on bootloop, and even when I plug my charger my phone powers on and sticks on bootloop. I need a solution pals. Moseti(Kenya).
Hey everyone. It seems that there is now a bootloader unlock for this device. Anyone want to look into this?
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/bootloader-unlocking-qualcomm-zte-t4100897
still no easy way to root this device? or any successful way?
Hey everybody! Thanks for your help in advance. I also have the ZTE Z839 and I want to use it with a carrier other than verison when I try to unlock the phone, it asks for a verification code. I got the code from cx service however it said incorrect code. The cx rep. had only 1 code and it didnt work! then he simply said either I can get verison service or the phone is incapable of using on other networks......... Duh why would there be a option in settings to use with different carrier and ask for a code if it is incapable? I tried tech support also to no avil. Ive spent hours on hold with cx and have troubleshot in every way I know how. Can anybody confirm if this is even possible or not and what is the code or should I just give up?

GHIA Tablet - ONLY AGILE B a.k.a AGILE A7i

So I have this tablet, thanks to my little nephew who loaded it up with tons of games and viruses/ads (he's 8 yrs old) so he asked me to repair it for him. My problem is that I can't seem to find any relevant info on this tablet, not even on the manufacturer's website , which i find truly strange not to find it there and it's not a very well designed site either. Does anyone know of any software for this tablet to restore or upgrade firmware on this equipment? Can it be TWRP'd or CWM'd?? Are there any Custom ROM's for it? I'm kind of assuming most answers will be hard no's due to the Intel Processor in this thing.

UPDATE 5/30/2020: I contacted the manufacturer GHIA and they responded quickly indicating this tablet is supposed to match up with the GHIA Agile A7i and even provided me this direct link to download the manual and firmware updates. It contains the IntelAndroidDrvSetup 1.1.5, iSocUSB Driver 1.0.1, and PhoneFlashTool 3.1.8.2 (win32) executables. I couldn't get the 1.1.5 or 3.1.8.2 files to launch, it gave me a "admin user has blocked these programs..." error msg even though I ran them as Admin. So instead, I downloaded updated versions of these programs and they installed fine (IntelAndroidDrvSetup 1.10.0, iSocUSB 1.2.0 & PhoneFlashToolLite 5.8.4.0). I was able to flash the firmware using PhoneFlashToolLite 5.3.2.0 which did give the tablet a better touchscreen response and eliminated the lag i saw originally (process is rather lengthy), but it did remain on kitkat 4.4.2 and no root access. It does offer the option to apply firmware updates locally via the system updates menu (online updates wouldn't connect to network), but I couldn't locate the correct directory in order for the system to recognize them that way.
I'm not familiar at all with the Droidboot Provision OS bootloader, albeit it looks pretty cool and useful. Unfortunately I couldn't find adb/fastboot commands that work with it to unlock the bootloader and be able to flash a custom recovery like TWRP/CWM (perhaps ported?) or get a custom ROM on it either. One major flaw i did noticed though is that not many games from the Google Play Store work at all even though they install but just FC. Surprisingly enough, it did allow you to uninstall any app it comes bundled with, so good for bloatware cleanup. I welcome any feedback anyone may have on this little tablet.
