Give us little more info, like the screen turn on? can you navigate around?, open the apps? no phone call, text? etc...
Your question is too vague. Need some more specifics. Power or usb? What does the phone screen look like?

If you are experiencing the lack of the touchscreen registering your taps properly, then the problem is your charger. replace it with a new one.

On your computer, boot into any version of Linux that has magic sysrq enabled
Press Alt+SysRq+9 (SysRq is the same key as Print Screen; use the 9 key from the top row of numbers on your keyboard, not the numpad)
Plug your phone into your computer, press Power on your phone
Run dmesg on your computer and post the full log
If your phone is giving any signs of life to the computer, they will show up in the log
Maybe some chips were fired.
Hi guys,
I purchased a Qi standard wireless charger. It charges the phone fine, however what ends up happening is the phone will get to 100%, stop charging, drain down to 99%, and then start charging again. This causes beeps and the screen to turn on all through the night - very annoying.
Is there some way of stopping the phone from beeping and turning the screen on every time it starts charging again on the pad? An app or something that perhaps does this? I've tried searching for one with no luck. I know that android 4.2.2 is supposed to introduce a wireless charging service that does just that, but we are currently stuck at 4.1.2
Thanks for the help!

In the settings of most roms you should be able to turn off the battery plug/charge notification. Check the settings. As far as your phone draining then recharging to 100% could be a bad battery?

I'm not seeing that option anywhere - could you direct me to where it could be?
Also it's not a bad battery, it's the way wireless charging pads work. They do not have the ability to trickle charge at 100% like plugs do.

As far as getting rid of the audio, a quick/dirty fix would be either to delete the file /system/media/audio/ui/Charger_Connection.ogg (or better solution would be to rename to Charger_Connection.ogg.bak) or replace it will a null sound file.
As for the screen turning on when unplugging, I remember seeing an option for this somewhere but can't remember where. I think it was ROM specific or a change in the framework-res.apk. It is possible there is an Xposed Module somewhere that will let you disable this.
Did you ever find a solution?
When I fully charge the phone, it gets stuck with a 100% forever, that's until I reboot
Any suggestions on what can I do?

1) Is your phone up to date and what is the software version?
2) Have you tried charging phone while it is off?
3) Using original charger + cable?

20k is already out maybe that will help. Also you can try using another charger just to see if it makes a difference. I do remember when I first bought Nexus 5x which was also made by LG, the battery percentage would stay at a certain number and would only change after the reboot. It went away after few days.

You can upgrade, but it may remove sim unlock. By using LG Bridge, your phone will see the 20k update. I contacted T-Mobile on Facebook and helped me to unlocked the phone.

I understood. I don't remember other users on 20i_un report similar issue as you. I personally don't use original chargers as I use my phones for a short time and want all accessories to be new. I have charge my LG G5 which I also bought on eBay as many other people did, using QC 2.0 charger and haven't seen any battery percentage issue. If you can find another QC 2.0 or 3.0 charger just to test your phone, then it will help to see what is the problem.
Hi
I was wondering why my s8+ doesnt show screen anymore? Ive had it completely drained its battery and since then its screen wont turn on? I can hear the volume buttons responding and even vibrating when the sound gets turned off and when charging the led is flashing red.
Also the computer doesnt recognise my phone after pluggin the phone in the comp. It rather sees "samsung mobile composit device"

Ahh the more i read it dont sound like it as when they dishcharge they are totally dead no life
Have you tried holding power volume down and bixby for like 7 to 10 seconds to force a reboot
From the sounds of it. The device is functional. Almost sounds like a busted OLED

**** that's not good. Most def sounds e like hardware issues. If it's depressing discharge try wireless charger and USB at the same time. See if that helps. I'm curious to know if it even tries to charge on wireless. But have it on wireless and plug in USB sometimes that jump started them

People with the deep discharge bug have said this works. Say about 60% if the time. But again theirs are totally lifeless. No vibrations no LED. And after a total dead battery
