Neither found any standalone app,
BUT I am happy to tell that you can use the (built-in) browser "Internet", where actually the streaming from radio.de works quite well!!!
There are lots of internet radio stations available.
But I am still quite disappointed, that samsung isn't able to deliver such apps and functions, which I would expect from a modern smartwatch...

Sorry mate i cant find this website anywhere. It comes up as www.ihearrradio.com
However it does not allow me to download being from u.k.
Is there a work-around?

Based on the username (and obvious advertisement language used), Slabak007 is likely the person selling the app on the Samsung Store (unsure if this link will work for you). https://galaxystore.samsung.com/geardetail/qChxtqcj3b?source=GalaxyBadge
Edit: I recently bought a Gear S3 (last Samsung phone I owned was a Galaxy III; don't care for the phones but I was in the market for a smartwatch and the features of Samsung Pay are useful here in the states). I tried out Tizen back when it was in beta and it's pretty well-documented and it's likely even easier to code for now.
I'm not sure if there is much demand for it, but I need a first project and have already worked on parsing various radio stations w/ internet streams in the past. It might be possible to create an unofficial companion app for a phones' IHeartRadio app as well (still unsure if this exists or not on any region's store).

Just bought this app. Thanks for your help

This is the only thing I could find, it allows you to change the language to a lot of Eastern European languages so it might, I don't know though.

I tested it on google maps on my phone and it does give directions for eastern Europe. Did a route from Warsaw to Kiev with no problem but could not get it to route to Moscow. If it works from my armchair here, my guess is that it would work there too.
it works great in Germany, Austria and Spain, have not been to Eastern Europe, but I guess it works. No reason why it shouldn't.

[Q] Market problems ahead?

So I'm getting this pad as a birthday present in July. I live in Italy, but I'm moving to Finland in August. I've heard there might be a problem with downloading market apps if I change countries. Is this true?
Basically what I'm after is that if I activate the product, while I am in Italy, will I still be able to download market apps in Finland, when I move there?

samsung seems to be really making big efforts to capture greater market share in africa, im wondering if they see something there that other OEMs aren't
I wouldn't put too much stock in whether or not the box has a label stating the lock. The one I looked at in Phones4U here in the UK had the sticker yet the one I received direct from Three UK yesterday didn't. It's probably fair to assume that Three UK would only be distributing region locked units so make of the assumptions what you will.
I've had 2 different large online mobile Australian retailers confirm to me, the GN3 they sell is not region locked. Would any Telstra users care to weigh in?
There's no sim region warning on Turkish model (SM-9000Q). Carrier sim locks are forbidden here so probably Turkish model does not have region locks. I am not sure that regulation is applicable to what samsung did.
I'm in Minneapolis, MN in the US. I didn't see a sticker anywhere, nor was there anything in regard to regional locking in my paperwork.
I used my old SIM - I was in a hurry and they just sold me the unopened box & contents. There is an "Isis Ready" Advanced SIM Card in the box with a May expiration date. Since everything works, I wasn't going to pursue it unless I tripped on some new info about it. I'm not sure yet who I'll wallet through, if I do it at all on this phone.
saudi arabia is interesting one major seller has stickers on them but most of the smaller shops in malls sell the unlocked ones. so maybe we should put an asterisk near saudi arabia lol
~Sim lock
Correct me if I am wrong but my understanding was that the phone is region locked only until it has registered with a Sim from the region it is locked too.
Once you have registered the device the lock is removed.
I was under the impression that it is not to stop you from using you device with a sim from another region but rather to just stop cheap imports from appearing in certain markets.
I am picking mine up tomorrow from Three UK will post back what I find.

It still blocks the black-listet countries. Current amount 63 e.g. in EU-N9005.

I have both apps installed and working on my phone but I am not able to search/install any of them from the Play Store. Are they not available in India?

Not yet mate, it's extremely frustrating when companies and government rules make a mess of things! I hope some creative minds can get this to work. I'm ready to experiment on my watch if anyone wants to try something but doesn't have the watch handy too.
PS: I've a connection to 1984 too

Question South Africa Galaxy watch 4 Missing Blood oxygen

Hi Guys
I'm desperate and quite irritated at Samsung .
We Pay exactly the same amount as any other country R5000 south african rands or $331,67 United States Dollars for a Samsung Galaxy watch 4 , but the ECG , Blood pressure and the Blood oxygen is deactivated.
Please can anyone help me just to find a way to bypass it to alteast get the blood oxygen working?
Thank you
Paul
I am in the UK, officially ECG works for us.
I have a phone with an EUX region and a watch for South Africa. When I turned on the watch for the first time, I chose the first from the list - Colombia. But as it later became clear, ECG does not work in Colombia. Then I reset the clock and at the first start I chose - Chile.
Chile is on the list of countries where ECG officially operates !! After that, everything works great on my watch for South Africa and the selected region of Chile !!!
as usual, not sure why samsung has to do this. maybe local regulatories need to approve the feature first

My region is south africa. I have tried to reset the watch but after reset it does not provide the option to select another region like the first time. It only wipes the data. Can you provide a step by step guide or a link to a video?
Very disappointed! Oxygen readings & ECG not working in South Africa. This was never mentioned!! I bought the watch specifically to monitor sleep patterns, including Oxygen levels. I wonder if I can return the watch?
You can get the ECG & Blood Pressure to work.
I got mine working using a guide on this forum.
Just cannot get the Oxygen working.
Thanks Lexorius, but I bought the watch specifically to monitor oxygen through the night. (& potential sleep apnea...)
Lot's of money to spend on a non-waterproof watch only...
Curious, could anyone get the blood oxygen working?

No. I would suggest not buying the Galaxy Watch4. With no blood oxygen, no ECG, & no blood pressure monitor in South Africa, there are way better options out there...
