Can we get Symbian Anna update for Nokia C6? Or there is no support for it?
Or is there any chances of doing a port for it? Please reply!
as i read, nokia said that by the end of the year, some phones, including yours would have the upgrading to the belle edition,or you could try to search with the google, the porting of anna to ur device, some have the x7 or 5800 with the n8 operating system, its possible to port a os on ur 5th edition.10 months ago,ive putted on the samsung i8910,so called omniaHD,the c7 firmware, using the tools from the internet.all u have to search is porting anna to c6,and with a litle bit of patience you will be abble to port anna os on c6.
Thank You for your reply.I tried searching as you told but there seems to be no way of doing that And iam not into Nokia or say Symbian because i have other phones with Android and Bada.So i have less knowledge about Symbian OS and Tools. Can you help me by giving the tools and firmware?
Hello folks,
I am fairly new to the Android OS so please be gentle
I took the plunge and finally got a smart TV from Haier which came with the 2.3.4 Android system. All is fine an cherry in 2.3.4 town as of now (apart from its horribly looking user interface design). But was wondering if i could install the 4.0 update ?
Isnt the android system like any other where you have one default version of the OS that comes from google and then there are variants from the open-source community ? If so then which is the best stable version and where can i find it.
Installation of the 2.3.4 OS is on an MMC that i copied from the technicians that came home to fix the TV so i am fine with a backup and the procedure for the install from an MMC. But i assume that if i download the OS from the internet then the procedure will be a bit different ?
I'll update more of the details (Kernel version etc) when i get home. All this because the manufacture - Haier - does not provide updates online or on its website or anywhere on the web. Appreciate any help.
Thanks in advance.
Gaj
Hi Gaj - I have the same question which you have. Did you get any response from anyone or have you now upgraded to the latest version ?
If you have the latest firmware to upgrade , please share it with me or else please share the OS back up what you have as I don't even have it
please help me
Regards
Sri

Hello community,
Here I am to ask something before doing any harm to my phone. In March I bought a chinaphone, an Ulefone u9592 (MTK6592 processor) and wanted to upgrade it to Android Kitkat. Back in time I read that a stable release of an Android 4.4 ROM for such processor wasn't released yet but now I've noticed that there are some devices mounting it(or at least the net says so.) Is out there any ROM I could use or I gotta wait some more? Thank you for the answers and noobfriendliness!
nope
"]Kitkat is till date only available for mtk6582......... mediatek is a ****ty company when it comes to releasing the source codes/////////......
HI,
I kind of new to OPO (I use N4+N5 for a while so...)
I have few questions :
1. I bought my OPO from Chinese website (coolicool) and I know there is differences between the china version and the rest of the world - is it true ? if so - what are the differences ?
2. How can I manually check for CM updates within the setting ?
Thanks
With this update of WPInternals, brought great possibilities for windows phone, many ROMs are being launched here, and I wanted a one for the lumia 930, some customized with the possibility of installing android applications, or ROM with android included, somebody has some?
Sorry for any errors in the graph, I'm Brazilian and I'm using the translator to create this topic.
Thank you!!
