$12.99- Cruzerlite Bugdroid Case
This case is $12.90 and comes in many colors: smoke, red, pink, orange, blue, purple, teal, green, clear, and black. If you want to check the cases out go ahead and check the description for a link to Amazon.
Design
The first thing I noticed about this case is that installation is a breeze. The back has a nice modern design. Side by side the Diztronic TPU, the Cruzerlite looks much classier. The grey case and black phone gives you a nice contrast, especially with the silver buttons.
On the back we see a grey color, transparent “circuits”, and Cruzerlite branding. On the top we see a cut out for the 8 megapixel camera and on the bottom we see a cut out for the speakers. The Nexus logo and LG are both noticeable through the back of the case.
One of my favorite features is that it won’t attract any pocket lint and you can wipe away any residue. The case is a little slippery in the hand, but it isn’t too noticeable.
Protection
One of the benefits to the Cruzerlite case is that it has a lip, which protects the display from damage when placed or dropped face first. This case won’t protect the Nexus 4 from big drops, but it’s shock absorbent and will protect from minor nicks and bumps.
Final Verdict
The final veridct is that for $12.90 this is one of the best TPUs on the market. The modern unique design gives it a much better look than other competing cases and the grippy back is definitely a plus. With tons of different colors to choose from, you can’t go wrong with the Cruzerlite Bugdroid case. However, if this case isn’t for you, be sure to check out my reviews of the Poetic Atmosphere and Diztronic TPU.
Is the entire thing TPU or is the back a different material?

The back is more of a sold piece and the lip is rubber like.

Yes. I'm putting them up now.
Here is pictures of the black one. I have another one I might put on eBay since I don't need two black cases. They sent me one for free for the bs shipping problems I had with them.

Is the finish on the back matte/grippy? Or does it feel smooth and plasticky?

The back looks to be a matte finish but idk if its grippy. You just feel the groves from the design and it feels smooth more then anything. But i think it feels pretty good overall.

I agree with this. The case is neither slippery nor grippy.
here are some more pics. this is the smoked version.
I'm interested in this case, does nfc work with this case on?
Yep, I have the clear one and the quality is great. NFC works just fine (use it every day as a car dock)

Purchased the VENA clear case. I was looking for a Ringke fusion type case, I but couldn't find one so I went with this option. This is an excellent alternative. I'm very pleased. Very sturdy, fits perfectly (even with tempered glass screen protector) and it's non slippery, while maintaining a minimalist profile. This is just my personal opinion. I couldn't ask for more.

I love it as well, my only two annoyances are the scratches and fingerprint magnet, which is found on pretty much every clear/glossy case.
Is this case rigid? How large is the headphone/USB cutout for larger cables?

no, is a slim hybrid with hard plastic on the back and flexible tpu bumper as far as the cut outs go, they're pretty big i have not had any problems plugging in different cables

Where you buy from?
Im on Amazon, im seeing VskinCl and Retain models, which one did you get?
I just got the incipio octane in the mail yesterday. I guess its originally 25 but someone Herr posted a link with a code that made it 11 total so I grabbed it. People were saying they really liked it, imo its decent but nothing to go crazy about.
I was thinking about picking up something else. Had my eye on the cruzerlite bugdroid case. Then I seen this post. Not sure what to do.

Why not just link to the product you purchased?
Seems like he's talking about this one. I have one on the way. I had a similar case for the Droid Mini, and Turbo. They hold up well, and no matter how clumsy I may be, I never managed to crack a screen. Hopefully this one treats my X just as well.
Thanks...
....Thinking of ordering one, I have a cruzerlite bugdroid on the way, seen it on the 6p, it looked nice, so I ordered one for this phone.

Just ordered mine a few days ago, my only concern is the TPU turning yellowish over time so I opted for the black border, but I have a white/silver frame :/
The Incipio case has a frosted back and silicone bumper and is running at $14 on sale right now, might go for that one too

I don't really like the bugdroid on this phone. The thickness of the case, coupled with the cutouts for the buttons makes it hard for me to press the buttons sometimes. That's why I ordered the Vena case for this phone.
I'm still liking the VENA, I use it for more rough handling like outdoors or exercising... Most days at the office I prefer the PLESON tpu case, vile which is more flexible and has a slimmer profile

I've been using the hybrid case for a few months, very happy with it.

Probably the best TPU case for this phone
I posted a review/overview of the Vena VskinTPU cases on Youtube that I cant link because XDA thinks I'm a new user for some reason. I have had mine since the video was mad and alternating carrying them has kept them from yellowing at all. Just perfect TPU implementations. Not a lot of added bulk, good drop protection, and laser-accurate cutouts. They have been a real surprise.
Search 'Moto X Pure 2015 clear TPU' on Youtube to watch it.
Just bought this case on Amazon. Reminiscent of the Supcase beetle from the Nexus 6p. Excited to try it out.

Wow does look alot like the beetle. let us know how it is.

Was really disappointed to see that the Beetle changed so drastically (and not necessarily in a good way). Needless to say, I hopped on this case as soon as I saw it. Should be here Saturday ready for a head to head with my UAG. ?

Would like to know how buttons feel? clickiness? responsiveness? How loud compared to no cover? How responsive compared to no cover?

buttons very clicky. No perceived volume effect. touch effect not changed,
Buttons feel very similar to UAG, very responsive and sound almost exactly the same as naked.

My first favourite case was a trident for my Moto x. After that, I had the speck candy shell for Nexus 6P which I loved. My current Caseology is great looking but too slick for my liking. I'll definitely try this once the clear|black is back in stock. Thanks guys for sharing your experience.

How's everyone liking this case. Does lint and dirt get caught in the back crevices?
Looks exactly like the new ones from Supcase what's different?

The new version from supcase is crap. This one mimics the looks of the beetle case they had for the 6p. Which was one of best cases I've ever used. I was really hoping supcase would have used a similar design.
Looks kinda bulky. Is it? How is the grip? They are still out of stock on Amazon.
Trident is good. Dunno about this case.
Concrete , titanium and Matte black ,put the matte black one on and it provides a lot more grip and the 360 camera works fine with it
Matte black just screams quality

Looks nice! I guess you will be able to answer the question I had for couple of weeks... Does the concrete skin have a matte finish or it is shiny + slippery?
Looks good. I'm still debating whether I want to go with Matter Black, or White and cut the top portion so it looks similar to a Panda Pixel XL 2. I think I saw someone do it in Reddit and it looked really good.

Concrete and titanium are fairly shiny and quite smooth , titanium has a bit more texture then concrete which is the smoothest if all 3 ,the matte black has much more texture and grip

Good to know! I was thinking about Concrete and possibly leather(white) skin, but knowing that matte has a better grip... might make more sense to get that one as well.
I grabbed the matte as well. Love the quality
Seems there very few thin hard cases for Nord, one i found:

That's a shame, i liked the sandstone case very much on my 7.
I'm thinking about trying something else for a change and preferably a very slim one.
I'll keep an eye on Nilkin.

I'm using the black sandstone case for two weeks now. It still looks like on the first day.
But I would not call it really slim, but that's a very personal feeling. It is a little bit thicker than the front camera, but I think that's good to protect the camera too.

My blue sandstone looked a bit dirty after a month of use. Cleaning with wet wipes does nothing to restore it.
The mentioned cases are not thin, add way to much bulk.
latercase cyber edition.
the thinnest cases out there are made by
MNML
or
Peel
unfortunately, they don't have a product for the OnePlus Nord (yet?).
Just got Nilkin Black Case yesterday had to say this is probably the thinnest and it feels very good in hand
Sandstone cases were very disappointing
Nillkin Super Frosted Shield + Nillkin CP+ Screen Protector. Absolutely perfect matching, really feels like made for each other. The Glass has black borders, so no halo effect on the sides. Really smooth touch and feel. Case is super slim and grippy as hell.
Sorry for picture quality, had to take the pictures with a Huawei Mediapad M5 with a pretty crappy camera.
That blue looks nice, I have black one with the same glass on the way.

It cost twice the Sandstone case?
Hmmm, what, which one?
Sandstone costs almost 20€ and Nillkin less than 6€.
Oh, on amazon.in, that's bad, can't you buy it from Aliexpress or from other place?
But Nillkin is much better than sandstone, I've got sandstone as pre-order gift, and I don't like it. Is too fat and the feel is not so good and same for the transparent case.

@Lazy Rich it looks like the corners of the screen protector glass have too big a radius - basically as if they're not going all the way into the corner of the screen, is that really the case?
