Any fluent Chinese speakers able to assist in getting my bootloader unlock code? - Huawei Mate 9 Questions & Answers

so, I'm just a lot frustrated. I have been asking for my bootloader unlock code for about a week now without success. Several emails have been received and they keep asking the same thing. Because the "normal" error received mentions try another IMEI or MEID or your verification code is wrong they keep telling me to try again and use the correct verification code
I would really like someone to call Huawei China and get my unlock code directly from them. Any takers please? Thank you.

Have you used this email?: http://pastebin.com/RYSvQq21
And did you include a network information screenshot from Settings> About phone> Status> Network on your phone? They asked me this to show my non-chinese carrier. I also emailed them a screenshot of my Wonda Mobile receipt. The more info you give, the better. I got my bootloader unlock within the day after doing that.
You can use the ENGLISH WEBSITE for this: https://emui.huawei.com/en/plugin/unlock/index - it will redirect you to login and then take you to the EMUI 5.0 features page; simply re-type the page https://emui.huawei.com/en/plugin/unlock/index, and it will take you to the ENGLISH version of the bootloader request page. This is where you should take your screenshots. Enter the CAPTCHA correctly but DO NOT PRESS ENTER or else it will just refresh the CAPTCHA, and it won't match in your screenshot. Just click your mouse out of the CAPTCHA, and it will look like you entered it correctly. YOU MUST USE 3 DIFFERENT CAPTCHA examples for IME1, IMEI2, MEID, so they know you attempted this 3 DIFFERENT TIMES - JUST HIT THE COMMIT/SUBMIT button once and the CAPTCHA will refresh itself. Click out of the CAPTCHA box before your next screenshot.
Use his email example with your information correctly entered into it plus the following attachments:
1) IMEI1 failed screenshot with its own CAPTCHA
2) IMEI2 failed screenshot with its own CAPTCHA
3) MEID failed screenshot with its own CAPTCHA
4) *#*#2846579#*#* and choose 2. Veneer Informations -> 3. Other info screenshot from phone
5) *#*#1357946#*#* screenshot from phone (your sim card must be in it to show your network name at the top)
6) Settings> About phone> Status> Network screenshot from phone
7) Screenshot or a picture of your proof of purchase - I just took a screenshot of my email receipt and cropped accordingly. (this is optional)

They kept asking me for the same thing again and again as well, until I changed the language of the phone to Chinese, and made sure everything I sent them was in Chinese.
I also told them that I sent them the information and screenshots several times already, and I sent them an email every two hours, so that they'd want to just give me the code to get rid of having to deal with me.
It worked.

I can speak Chinese. But I am sorry that I am not clear about unlocking issues.

Hi all, thanks for the advice and offers of help. I actually got a response from Huawei China over night and it included my unlock code. Happy days.

[Q] Samsung Focus Unlock Code (ATT)

not sure if this belongs in this board, but Ive been calling ATT for a while now to get an unlock code for my overseas trip.
I got mine, but...
I just don't know how exactly I'm supposed to enter it, Ive been getting mixed messages from each rep involving the steps, but the code seems to be the same.
Can someone tell me how to enter it?
---things they've told me:
- you need a diff carrier's sim card
- you dont need a diff carriers sim card
- you need to enter stuff like (#7563*638*.........)
- you dont need to enter stuff like (#7563*638*.........)
Well I just called ATT and was given my unlock code... The directions given weren't the best but managed to get it unlocked to hopefully I can help.
The woman on the phone gave me a long winded code #746...*638*742.....# Which obviously didn't work since there is no option to type in # or * when getting to the unlock screen. So I just started typing in the different numbers she gave me. I typed in the second series of 742... numbers which was 8 digits in total and hit enter and my phone was unlocked. I should also mention I did have an Australia sim card in when doing this so I'm not sure whether or not another sim is needed in the process.
Hope this helps and you can get it to work...
what is the 742 number sequence they gave you? id like to try it with my unlock code.
I actually left the code I was give at work so can't give it to you ATM... From what I've read all each individual phone has its own unique code so its doubtful mine would work anyway.
Basically what I did is entered the last 8 numbers that ATT gave me with my Aussie sim in the phone. If you're still not able to get it to work tomorrow I'll find my code at work and you can see if it'd randomly work for you.
I still haven't been able to unlock mine.
Could you please give me a step-by-step guide for unlocking my phone the way that you did?
I just need the steps and the 742 number, i already have my code.
Thank you.
Found this (and cleaned it a bit):
How to enter the unlock code for Samsung Focus (aka NCK)?
To enter unlock code for most Samsung:
Method 1:
1. Insert a foreign sim card
2. Enter the PIN if the card has it
3. now enter code NCK
=> the phone should be unlocked
If your phone does not ask for an unlock code:
Method 2:
1. Switch ON your phone with a non accepted SIM Card
2. Compose:
#7465625*638*CODE#
OR
*#7465625*638*CODE#
OR
#0111*CODE#
WARNING: entering wrong code 3 times or more will FREEZE the phone and you will need an UNFREEZE code (another one).
Hope one of above works for you.
Samsung Focus Unlock worked..
Thanks to Zehns10, the instructions worked perfect. Not only the AT&T person spent an hour trying to help me without success, but I also spent an hour with Samsung Technical Support Level 3 guys and it was a total waste of time.
The key to unlocking your Samsung Focus phone is to have a "NON AT&T SIM CARD" with you and insert that in your phone to proceed with unlocking. Both AT&T and Samsung Tech support will tell you to take the SIM card off and try all kinds of stuff and it simply won't work.
Happy camper, I am now!
AbleFarmer.
Yep, my phones unlocked now
Thanks.

I've asked AT&T (just in case) via email and they send me an unlock code with complete instructions including that step (non-AT&T sim card). Total time spent - less than 5 minutes (except waiting for reply, of course). So if you not in hurry, use email
what is the procedure?
i got the unlock code from AT&T
but no procedure.
when I power on I get SIM ERROR
so...where do I enter this lovely code?
AT&T instructions (my copy&paste):
1. Power off the device and insert a non ATT SIM card.
2. Power on the handset.
3. Network Lock will display enter the device unlock code.
4. The SOS key (Left Soft Key) on the lower left side of the device keypad will change to OK. Select OK.
5. Display should read Network Lock Deactivated.
PLEASE NOTE: You only have five (5) tries to unlock the phone. If this process is unsuccessful five times in a row, the phone will be permanently locked to the AT&T network.

Sir, I have got my unlock code. When i enter a non accepted SIM card i am getting an error "Incorrect SIM". It does not ask for unlock code. I want to try Method 2 mentioned by you but i am not quite sure what "Compose" means as mentioned in step 2. Also a few screenshots or a video tutorial demonstrating method 2 will be a great help.
Thanks in advance.

Ask your provider (T-Mobile).
question?
can I ask a really dumb question:
below Method 1 says "3. now enter code NCK" .... Where? using what? the widget that pops up asking for the Pin is a numeric keypad only.
what is it that allows the 'input' of "NCK"???
and similarly, in Method 2, what device/widget/applet allows the input of "CODE" ??
i guess others know this, but so-called "legacy" SIM's are not liked by the i917

I live in Egypt and I won a Samsung Focus S in a Windows Phone development competition (it was held by Microsoft Egypt).
The only problem is that it's locked by AT&T and I'm unable to use my Vodafone Egypt SIM.
I contacted Microsoft here but they keep telling me that they'll get me the code and they don't, so I decided to do this myself.
Can you tell me how to contact AT&T to get the unlock code? I don't think I can call them because that would cost me A LOT (international calls here are very expensive), and tell me what I need to say to them in order for them to give me the code
Contact AT&T via email (see my posts above) or just pay $20 to these guys: http://www.samsungimeiunlock.com/samsung-focus-s-unlock (I hope, $20 is not A LOT for you? )
Ok so I just discovered that I can call AT&T's customer service from Skype for free
So I called them and I told them about my case and gave them my IMEI number, but they couldn't find my unlock code
I asked them what could be the reason for that, they told me that with new phones like mine, the manufacturer doesn't release the unlock codes to the carriers until some time has passed, that time can be a month or a year or forever!
Can someone tell me why would Samsung do this? and does that mean I'll have to use samsungimeiunlock.com to SIM Unlock my phone?
20$ isn't that much (it's approximately 120 Egyptian pounds), but I would've preferred if I was able to get it for free

XDA Q&A isn't the best place to ask rhetorical questions. Forward your question to Samsung. Also, as for samsungimeiunlock.com better to ask samsungimeiunlock.com guys directly (I'm not working on samsungimeiunlock.com).

Strangest of situations about Bootloader

So i have been battling to unlock my bootloader since i got the my phone(end of august). I have not been successful at all and i cannot figure at a solution. I have emailed emuifans and [email protected] to send me my bootloader code to no avail(mailed them about a month ago). So i decided to try and connect 14 straight days just in case this works. I downloaded the chinese APK HiApp and logged in 17 days in a row. I am still faceing the 14 days id wall. So i came here in search of help cause if i expected anything from Huawei i would be a goner by now. So:
1)Is this the correct way to get the bootloader code or i was hitting my head to the wall all this time?
2)Is there a Update i could do so i can get to an unlocked bootloader state?
3)Once you unlock the bootloader and you change firmware is there a possibility that it will get locked again through an update(without you explicitly locking it)?
So far my experience tinkering with this huawei hasn't been the greatest while my previous(p6 and U8800) has been phenomenal. I have a Dual sim DL00

Went, logged in,pressed bootloader, filled the phone details AND it still asks me to wait 14 days. If you see the attachment on my first post you will notice its the website and says it needs the id to be logged for more than 14 days.
Ok....for me it happened straight away...I registered via the PC and it was instant. Your other option is to use HCU Client app and pay 4 credits and you will get it straight away.
Mate....if you have no luck, If you send me (PRIVATE MESSAGE) all the info required ( view the image from the link I shared in Original response to fine what info is needed) I can enter the details via my account and send you the unlock code. I have used my account to unlock two different imei codes and I don't think there are any limitations to howmany I can run through my account....some one else may have an opinion on this however?
Any way just an offer, you may feel nervous about sending on your private phone details to total stranger, I would....totally up to you, I certainly would delete and make sure they were never made public ...offer is there.

Im considering using the DC unlocker option since i can get nowhere with huawei but im afraid if the phone will relock if i flash a Huawei rom again. Thus my 3rd question in the original thread.
I used Dc.unlocker with the app from same author. Its a bit less expensive. Once you get the code, its for life. Write it somewhere.to not loose it, or keep the mail receved.

Huawei Mate 9 locked - need help

Hello to everyone!
I got my Huawei Mate 9 from Europe 2016-11-27, and set my fingerprint and the password, but when I rebooted the phone, it kept saying that the password is incorrect and fingerprint is unrecognized.
I tried to enter the password and possible combinations (in order I made some horrible typo in the beginning), but it all was useless.
I tried to wipe my data and start over again (hard reset), but wipe didn't work, the password is still there.
Moreover, I tried to use my gmail account that was linked to the Mate 9 and the android device manager (by google) to reset the password on the screen, but it didn't work either.
I also asked for help from the official service center of my country, but they refused to help me (even for money), because the device was made in Europe.
Considering the inability to perform an erecovery (because of the european version), there is no way but to send the device back in europe and wait another 1-1,5 months until it returns..
:crying:
Could anyone, please, give me any tips on how to reset the password and unlock the phone?
I would greatly appreciate your help
Same problem, did you solve it? Did you try to update firmware via three buttons?
Even if erecovery worked it would not erase the password unfortunately. I could get erecovery working for you but I don't think it will provide any solutions.

Unfortunately, no.
I gave my mate back to the store where i bought it (in my country), and they asked their technical specialist to help me, so I'm just waiting and making a list of possible passwords that include 1 typo in any number.
What is important, that this specialist told me that it is not the first time when the device is permanently locked, he's already seen the chinese mate 9 with the same bug.
I tried to report this bug to the support center and wrote them 2 letters over these days, but they just do not respond..

Could you, please, explain why mate 9 acts like some kind of terminator and does not allow me to reset the password in any way?
So there's basically no other solution but to completely format the internal memory at the factory?

Unfortunately, none of the methods that used to work with Mate 8 help with my Mate 9
The bootloader is locked and I wasn't able to enable the developer's mode or root the device before I rebooted it and it locked permanently.
And I don't have any Huawei id..
What is more, the store where I bought the device doesn't even know from which country it came, so they can not send it back for a factory formatting.
Soul crushing despair :crying:
Why haven't you contacted Huawei customer support (international) directly? They have more than one place to call. Did you try calling Europe's division? I know long distance can be annoying, but when you're out of options, it's best to deal with the manufacturer directly. Refusing you seems a bit odd.
Either way, all the best.
Even DC-unlocker (3-rd party tool special for Huawei) still not support out phone. Only way to wait when they will complete researching.
I'm glad it's not so easy to bypass Huawei's security. I'm about to receive my phone, and I would be unnerved if it was stolen and that easy for anyone to access my security login. I'm sure Huawei would help you provided you can show proof of purchase, it doesn't make sense?

Thank you for your advice!
Yes, of course I tried to ask for help from the support senters of other countries.
United Kingdom Hotline: 08000 886 700, I had to find the international code to dial that number: +44 8000 886 700
A nice woman told me that if the device does not reset the password after the hard reset it means that there is something wrong with it and I need to get it checked. She also said that it was ment to be sold in the western Europe, so I should try and call to any countries from that region. She named Italy, Netherland,
France and Germany.
The only foreign language that I know is English, so I had to find a country where I could freel explain the problem to the support team..
Netherland Hotline: 0800 9188. The international code number didn't help: +31 0800 9188, the number is too short dial (mechanical voice tells me that the number is not in use).
Italy Hotline: 800 191 435 With code number: +39 800 191 435. I've also found this number on some forum where people said that they understand english, but I also wasn't able to dial it (the number is not in use).
France and Germany is out of my range because I don't know the language...
Still, I haven't got any solution

I wrote to the DC-unlocker support team and they couldn't give me any information on how long it would take to complete their research and testing, which is sad..
Today I tried to initiate the system update by pressing volume up+down+power buttons while my phone was connected to the PC, aaaand now it's stuck on "Installing update 5%" for more than 1,5-2 hours. If I try to press the power button to switch it off it writes on the screen something like "Please release the power key to prevent the system from crash". Am I doomed? Is it realy stuck on the update and the phone will be bricked is I swith it off?
I suppose that my firmware is MHA-L29C432B109SP02

Of course, I have a full package and a receipt of the store in my country, where I purchased my mate, but that does not help.
Officials in my country refuse to help me, because the device is Euro tested..
I contacted a legal expert and he explained to me that Huawei has no worldwide guarantee and support, that is why in my case I'm left out without help.
If you would really prefer your device to act like an alive brick in any situation just do not unlock your bootloader, do not enable developer's mode and never turn on usb debugging.
Hi DemonRen,
After rebooting fingertip recognition is not accepted, you have to fill up the required Password, but if you have Sim with Pin code before asking for Password it asks for this Pin code.

I've read on the official site after the device locked itself that the fingerprint recognition is not allowed after the reboot, which seems extremely strange to me..
You see, the phone has no Sim card inside (I took it off when I was trying to do the factory reset) and my sim has no activated PIN anyway, so I don't think that's the problem..
It keeps asking for a password

Actually, I tried around 70 variations of my password, including possible typos (the pass is long).
And of course 0000, 000000, 1234 and 123456, even though I was pretty sure that it wouldn't help..
I just wish that Huawei had some service where I could provide all the codes (imed,meid,s/n), pictures of the phone, package and receipt (cheque) and that it would be good enough for them to restore my password instead of refusing to help me
I could even send them my fingerprint, if they need to
Why don't you try to call France or Germany ? Most of the guys now are speaking English at least they can connect you to the one who does.

Can't unlock and can't read error message as its not in English!

I get a error that is like 621**** and a few other digits and the rest I'm assuming is in Chinese.
History is I added phone to mi account almost a month ago, 10 and a half days ago I tried unlocking and got same error, tried again today and got same error but due to the language barrier I can't understand.
I get the utility from official source and have installed driver it gets to 99% each time.
I'm assuming its asking me to wait longer but I don't know how.
Steps leading up to this, went into dev settings oem and usb settings clicked, find my device enabled add account via data done.
I did notice that up until today when I added account again after it didn't work it didn't show mobile number.
I can't speak Chinese so will put a badly translated message up from online translation, hope someone can help as a futher 14 days have now passed and I still can't unlock it says "the phone has been numbered 629911 by looking for the phone lock, can not unlock it"
No idea what that means

duqoin f22 pro pin code got shortened and locked

hi
i have duqoin f22 pro (on the backpanel it says Qin ai life), and one day i set a long PIN code - 9 digits long, and when i locked it, the lockscreen asked for a 4 digit pin code - it stops afte the fourth digit. so i thought maybe it only got shortened from the original 9 digit i choose, so i tried first four digits, than last four, than middel, etc. but with no use.
any suggestions? it says enter pass code so it seems that its not the sim pin code.
i know i can factory reset but i dont want to do it because it has some valuable data that i want to extract.
if theres another way to extract the data via usb i would be glad to hear.
the rom is original, i think. cant get to see the details as its locked.
