I really want to replace the band with a metal one. Has any one else done this yet? Do you have photos if you have?

I'd like to see that too. I tried on the demo at my Best Buy today and the stock strap won't adjust big enough to fit on my wrist. You'd think Samsung would have known that more people than tiny Asians might want to wear this watch.
I was wondering about this as well. I have the neo so I don't think it would look right. I think it would look good on a regular gear 2 cause of the metallic look

it should work with any 22mm metal watchband. I put an after market leather watch band on mine and it looks and feels great.

All I could find was this: http://www.strappedfortime.com/shop/category.aspx/22mm-watch-bands/31/
Id love to get a black metal replacement myself... I am starting to notice 22mm is kinda thin and girly =/
This might look cool though:

Hey just checked out Amazon, and I think I may order this:
http://www.amazon.com/Stainless-Ste...7676462&sr=1-1&keywords=22mm+steel+watch+band
The price is right and looks like it will fit, the only thing I am curious about is if I need to get the spring hinge things too? We need a watch expert in the house to help us nerds out!... lol

leather watch strap
this is the strap I put on mine.
I just bought some from Clockwork Synergy..
http://www.clockworksynergy.com/shop/product-category/pebble-replacement-watch-strap/
Granted, this link is for the Pebble sizing, but I like the video (PLEASE NOTE TO ORDER THE 20mm for the Gear 2). I bought the following two, just so I could see how the bands stack up...
- Purple Nylon Loop Band
- Green Rubber Band
They should be here Tuesday! As soon as I get it, I'll post some pics (especially considering I wanted something a little bit more 'colorful', maybe I'll be able to represent for some of the female geeks here!) :fingers-crossed:

Now I keep seeing everyone ordering 22mm... well, crap. :[
I kept reading it was 20mm.
Yup, as i posted in another thread, i have a metal band and i love it. I just went to a jewelry store and picked one up. It was 40, but its a good band with a lifetime warranty and most importantly, i was able to see it with the Neo BEFORE buying it. That and it was installed for free and adjustments if/when i need them.

The band i put on, as seen above, is a metal one and it ranged 18-22 mm. That being said im pretty sure what i read was that it IS a 20mm band.

Everything I've seen says 22mm and I replaced mine with a 22mm that I always used with my pebble before I got the original gear. I think you want 22mm.
I just ordered this from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Stainless-Steel-Bracelet-Watch-Straight/dp/B00DKYC7TK/
I'll post pics when it gets here!!!

Your username is AspenMan but you ordered a woman's watch band? But then again, what's the difference between a man's and woman's band anyway?

It's a Man's band. If you check out the reviews most are actually from Male Pebble watch users. 22MM would be awfully big for a woman's watch band!!
Technically the watch band is listed under...
Watches > Women > Watch Bands
Watches > Men > Watch Bands
Watches > Accessories > Watch Bands
Nowadays, with smart watches, they are unisex. Anyone with a Gear 2 or Gear 2 Neo, regardless of sex, will need a 22mm band. Now, if it was hot pink.. lol
The original plastic band was giving me a weird rash. So I picked up up a simple leather band from wallmart

Thanks for sharing the photo. I really like the stock band/clasp, but I need to find one just a little larger.
I found a deployant clasp that I like, it's a knock off of a tag heuer clasp, it's about $25. Then I just need to find a band similar in texture to the stock band.
Here is the clasp style I like..

I ordered the same one for $8.69 shipped - though arriving in mid may to early June.

I also ordered this carbon fiber look with blue stitching that should get here sooner.

It's definitely more of a 22mm than 20mm. The bands I got I have to exchange. We shall wait and see.
NOTE: The nylon loop band will require some moding if you want to use the heart rate monitor, as it wraps around the bottom of the Gear 2.
Hey guys,
Im looking into changing the band on my gear 2 and get a nice metal band. I've noticed that the includes rubber band sits very tight. Will a metal band cause scratches?
Also will i need anything else? Any tools to removw or add metal bands?

No it does not scratch the Gear.

Have had mine on for about 2 weeks and regularly swap it out with 3 other watch bands. Gear is in mint condition.
Check out my XDA link. Photos are int the first post, then scroll down to post 4 for further details in the following link. Good Luck.

Simply put, do they make a replacement metal band for the gear s2. Not the classic. Just s2. I can't seem to find any. I do like the way the classic looks with a metal band but its just not my style at the moment.
My wife has a gear fit 2 pro and the band keeps coming loose from the watch. We have replaced the band but the new band comes off also. After putting it on we tug to make sure it is secure but it keeps coming off. I read where the screws on the inside of the band--where it connects--might be loose but that does not seem to be the case here. Anyone else ran into this and have a fix? Thanks.
If anyone is looking to buy the Extreme Sports Band, you can see how it looks in real life. Also you can AMA anything about it!

Thanks! I'd love to get a couple of these bands, but unfortunately still not available here in Canada - did you order direct from Samsung?
Honestly not a bad band. Pre-ordered it and like it better than the grey one that came with the watch. Still wish it was 22mm and the M/L size could be a little larger.

Ya directly from Samsung. It is basically a prebook offer for Watch 4 series in India.

Ya! Me too... I have a Citizen Blue Angels normal watch, could have used the band interchangeably! You mean larger width wise or length wise?
This looks great for my activities and workouts. Will be ordering! Cheers
For sports I prefer elastic cloth bands because cloth helps dissipate the moisture and doesnt trap it like silicone does and my skin thanks me for using my cloth band since I made the switch.
After workouts I just rinse the band thoroughly and I am good to go again.
So, these bands are now available in Canada, through the Galaxy Watch4 Bespoke Studio - but dayum, at $50 CDN ea. + tax, I think I might just wait to see what the AliExpress band that I ordered looks like...

I ran the Seiko divers band on my GW3 and it looked really nice. The 20mm version for the GW4 looks way too small. As for larger both width and length would be nice.
I have the white one. I really like it. Not as comfortable as the grey one that came with the watch, but it looks way better. Better for workouts too.
