Gear S2 Classic Metal Band

Did anyone get metal band for GEAR S2 Classic?
I found one on amazon, but not sure how will it be looking.
Looking for other models also.

I bought it on eBay, but still waiting for delivery.
I found on other forum, that e.g. @forkee has this one and it looks like that: [1] [2] , which is nice imo.

How accurate is colour matching?
As far as I can see on pics there are some difference, the band has matte finish while watch is more glossy.

Ceramic strap just arrived!
The ceramic strap that I had ordered from AliEpress a few weeks ago just arrived.
The surface finish fits really well with the shiny ceramic coating on the Gear S2 Classic.
Between the brown leather band and this one, I'm set for now!

I did it by my own Was no problem but with special watch-tools. But altough, you only need a little micro srewdriver, a little hammer and a needle.

Yes that´s right. The colour does not fit exactly ... - but it does´t matter at daily use. You don´t see it really much.

I used a Lego block, a hammer and a watch tool to shorten the strap without any problem. Now it fits my wrist perfectly.

Definitely a great looking match band for the Gear S2 Classic.

YUP just get any 20mm band. You may wish to stay clear of the NATO nylon straps if you want the heart rate monitor.
Also there are some curved ended bands and I don't think they will fit the Classic.
At the moment I have brown leather, ceramic and silicone straps in addition to the black leather that it came with.
If you search ebay you can find straps with quick release pins (much like what we have with the original classic straps

I haven't gotten my S3 yet but when I do i'm going to look for a few straps. Probably pick up a leather strap at the samsung retail store but if anyone has any suggestions feel free to post them here.

I Ordered 3 straps from amazon.
One leather and two metals. They are less than $15 each. Samsung will cost you a lot more.

I had gotten the V-Moro one, which looked nice, but didn't have the fine adjustment of length at the clasp, just the ability to remove links, which left me either too tight, or too loose.

They have all been difficult to get the links changed - very tight!! This one is easy with the kit. Didn't realize this one was a matte finish, but it's growing on me. I'm thinking I'll keep this one.
There are thousands of bands on Amazon. I just wanted a black metal, oyster-style band, with the quick-release spring bars. You'd be surprised how hard that is to find in 22mm for our watch!

Do they all have the same problem with the gap? I'm curious about the Motong

Have you seen any band (like black metallic black or ceramic but except silicone ones) where the edges are not parallel from clasp to springs?
I mean, like the original one from the box, which is narrow near the clasp and is starting to grow wider and near the springs is wide enough to be the over the watch "shoulders" (i don't know the name of that watch part in which the spring is attached).

Yeah, they all have a little bit of a gap. I'll post pictures of both - haven't returned the Motong yet. Again, I liked it - it's hard to tell the difference in the pictures (hard to get good lighting without getting a reflection) - but my pet peeve with SS straps is getting the right fit. I can't stand when they slide, and I just couldn't get the Motong the right length.

No problem. Yeah, you can't really tell in my pictures, but the Motong does have a nice, shiny, deep black, where as the Otiom looks more like the bezel on the watch. But I like it and it fits, so I'm keeping it.
Again, I'll warn you about the difficulty of getting the pins out of the Motong. I was using a hammer with the tool they sent, and the pins wouldn't budge. Broke the tool tip. I emailed them about it, and they told me the tool that comes with it is NOT for getting them out. They said I should be taking it to a jeweler. Just an FYI if you don't already own the proper tool.

Oh yeah, one other thing I should mention - I've seen comments from people that their jeweler charged them $10 - sometimes even $25 - to take the links out for them. That's ridiculous.
My wife took mine into Walmart and told the lady there that she bought it there, and she happily changed it out for her. They don't sell the tool, but it takes two seconds with the correct tool, so I don't feel too bad about the white lie.

the colors match perfectly for the polished stainless parts and the machined finish parts in the middle are pretty close to the same texture as the bezel on the classic. It really makes the watch a lot more attractive and I've gotten quite a few compliments from people that just notice a nice looking watch on my wrist.

Thanks for the info! Unfortunately it doesn't ship to where I live (nothern Europe).

I ordered the Samsung Aligator Brown and plain Black leather straps for my Frontier, only tried the Brown (looks way better in the box than the black).
Transforms the watch into a very chunky premium looking beast, strap loses the bulk of the horrible rubber strap.
Strap itself though feels hard and cheap underneath, length wise the slots are all wrong i barely get the the 3rd hole, but don't mind as then less strap excess hanging out.
Bought it direct from Samsung UK online.

I've bought 2 metal bands from amazon for the HW 2 sport. They are both exactly the same. However the one I'm posting the link for came with a better toolkit for installing and adjusting the links. I've only been using it for a week but I'm happy with it.

From the photo this strap looks damn nice.

But band title says 20mm and color choice says 22mm...

Honestly not a bad band. Pre-ordered it and like it better than the grey one that came with the watch. Still wish it was 22mm and the M/L size could be a little larger.

Ya! Me too... I have a Citizen Blue Angels normal watch, could have used the band interchangeably! You mean larger width wise or length wise?

This looks great for my activities and workouts. Will be ordering! Cheers

For sports I prefer elastic cloth bands because cloth helps dissipate the moisture and doesnt trap it like silicone does and my skin thanks me for using my cloth band since I made the switch.
After workouts I just rinse the band thoroughly and I am good to go again.

So, these bands are now available in Canada, through the Galaxy Watch4 Bespoke Studio - but dayum, at $50 CDN ea. + tax, I think I might just wait to see what the AliExpress band that I ordered looks like...

I ran the Seiko divers band on my GW3 and it looked really nice. The 20mm version for the GW4 looks way too small. As for larger both width and length would be nice.

I have the white one. I really like it. Not as comfortable as the grey one that came with the watch, but it looks way better. Better for workouts too.
