Please help. I need an IPTV box for Somalian channels. - Android Stick & Console Computers General

hi guys,
My name is Absame and I am U.K citizen with Somali descent. My parents came to U.K in 1990 during the Somali civil war. Since then we have been residing in London, there's a big Somali community in U.K in general and in London in Particular.
I wanted to watch Somali TV channels and also Arabic TV channels so I bought ZaapTV in the middle of 2013. ZaaptV was telling all the clients that this box is an one time fee box without any annual or monthly fees, but in 2014 they changed their mind. They decided to start to force the clients to upgrade to the new models and to start paying monthly fee for using their services. I was really disappointed with that change of rules.
This was why I decided to stop their service and want to find out a better box to replace it. Could anyone recommend me the best IPTV box to watch Arabic and Somalian channels? I'd prefer it to work without buffering and freezing.
Some of the channels I'd love to watch are:
Sky sport
Skye Movies
Bein Sport
and a lot of Somali channels. (Universal TV, Somaliland, Royal Somali, and so on)
Thank you so much for your detailed reply!

hey, one of my friends just bought an Android IPTV box called Easybox Arabia from Amazon. It got all arabic channels like bein sport, osn, art, mbc. Many of the channels in HD quality.

What’s the difference between Easybox IPTV and the other IPTV boxes? Does it receive good reviews from users? can you show me some? thanks!

Easybox IPTV is built on the Android OS, with the Easybox IPTV you are getting a stable IPTV box with quality streaming and no buffering. Some of the differences are as follow:
- It's the Only IPTV company that offers customers 24 hours support 7 days per week.
- Premium severs based in USA, Canada, Australia and Europe.
- it's the most sold IPTV box on Amazon and eBay. (with 9/10 stars)
Easybox IPTV has been. awarded with several best in test awards. The latest one is from TestKingz. :good:

Sorry, I am not an IPTV box seller, but you can get it directly from Easybox TV. There are a lot of models for your different needs. Just take a look at it and make your own decision. Good luck!

News to baseball fans

Got this info on this website.

As a HUGE Phillies fan, you can tell I’m anxious about MLB At Bat 2011 and what it will bring to table. I was trying to get a hold of MLB.tv via Twitter and was referred to email the MLB mobile team. I asked if there were any plans to integrate live streaming video (MLB.tv) to their 2011 MLB At Bat Android app. The response I received was rather optimistic, yet rather vague.

Dear Doug:
Thank you for your inquiry.
We are now offering live streaming of the games on select Android phones. We do not have much information expect the live games on the select devices. We will have more information as the season draws closer. Here is a list of supported Android phones that support the live games.
Droid
Droid 2
Droid X
HTC Evo
Samsung Epic
If you have any further questions please feel free to calkl our mobile department at 1-866-306-5311.

What through me for a loop is the the Incredible is not listed nor are a host of other newer Android phones. One plus is that that the email mentioned that they don’t have any information except for the listed devices and more will be come available as the season nears. Lets keep our fingers crossed MLB fans!
Who else is eagerly waiting for opening day? Let’s hope MLB At Bat 2011 allows all of us to be there.

FYI Im Cardinals fan
Still can't watch local games I am guessing. Still a deal breaker for me.
I was hoping they would do that, the streaming during the World Series worked pretty well. As for local games, I wouldn't be surprised if someone finds a way around it. When I'm on 3G my phone says I'm two time zones away anyway most of the time.
You should check out Slingplayer. I never miss a Yanks game now that I have it, can set my dvr too.
that would suck if it only supported a few devices....that would be "fragmentation" that actually would piss me off since it has nothing to do with the OS etc.
If my Nexus S can't play MLB.tv and Netflix doesnt release an app soon....
This is a early statement. I'm baseball fan just let you guys know a head of time.

Nfl mobile app?

Well folks its that time of the year again, and I must have updates for my football. Last year we had a great app, but it doesn't work anymore. Any progression on a new one?

A beer to the fellow who gets this running on the EVO 4G!
I second that ^
There is a new NFL app in the market. I personally have it tried, but it should be fine to score updates and news. There is always the Sprint Football TV app; it will stream college football games on EPSN mobile TV. No NFL.
If you're looking to streaming of NFL games, I've read someone is trying to hack the verizon app, but the security is lot more evolved compared to last year; it also requires a verification you have the subscription with verizon too.
There are two other options to get NFL game streamed to your phone. One would be the DirectTV moble app for Sunday Ticket. I personally haven't used it because I don't have don't have directTV. I did look the mobile part, and there was a fifty dollar fee to have mobile access. Not a cheap.
Another option, also not cheap, is from the NFL, which is the NFL Game Pass mobile. I did a post in another thread in this subforum
there is an app that works from the NFL (NFL Game Pass mobile XDA thread. It works great, and even has access to game replays.
There are two covets though:
1) only available outside the United States, Mexico, Bermuda, Antigua, the Bahamas, and any U.S. territories, possessions and commonwealths.
2) must be Game Pass subscriber to use. It does give free 2 minute preview.
I don't know how much verizon's thing costs. Game Pass isn't exactly cheap; it's $250, which is cheaper than Sunday Ticket on both DirectTV and PS; the directtv mobile is an additional $50.
Other helpful information:
1) How to Use Game Pass in blacked out areas
2) Game Pass 2011: Walk through and review
3) how to use blacked out services on mobile devices: free version or donate version

[Q] What tablet to buy for streaming NFL

I have DirecTV Sunday Ticket so I can watch my favorite team. My brother in law is always trying to make me watch his team, which is usually on at the same time.
So for Christmas I want to get him a tablet, so he can stream the game at his house and leave me alone. I have been looking at the Nook/Fire tablets. Would they work if not, what will? I really want to watch my game in peace. Thanks.

A man with real issues, glad to see it
Every android tablet with the android market supports streaming NFL games as long as you have Sunday Ticket and the RedZone channel. All you need is an Android phone/tablet and this app below. Now, the nook/fire dont actually access the Android market so you are going to have to go with a Galaxy Tab or any android tablet really that can connect to the market.

What a great problem to have during a recession!
Thanks for the help. The information about the apps was helpful, but I know he will not want to pay for the service. Also, I don't know if I want to give him access to my account. So what about sites like justintv,or others. Can that be accessed on a tablet?
The nook tablet and the kindle fire will work with sunday ticket as long as you sideload the android market.
I would suggest gifting a nook tablet more as it has better specs and is lighter but it's up to you.
As for how to sideload, just google it and you will find many results.
For justintv both the nook tablet and the kindle fire will work because they both have flash installed.
GMJ thanks for the answer. I just found out I have to travel for work the first two Sundays in Dec., so now I am looking at buying 2 Nooks. One for me, and one for the brother in law. Glad to know I can see my game while I am on the road.
justintv carries NFL games? :O
I heard a rumor they did. I could be mistaken.

Gameloft slashes prices on all games on 29th

http://phandroid.com/2011/12/27/gam...-99-cents-plus-enter-to-win-lg-nitro-for-att/
Christmas may be over but don’t tell Gameloft that. The mobile gaming company will be having a sale, starting Dec 29th, on all of their Android titles in the Market, offering them up for only 99 cents (my favorite word) each. That’s not such a bad deal seeing how some of these games can reach upwards of $7 a title.
but on their market, not the android one. so not as convenient

As a condition of selling ebooks or apps on Amazon, vendors give them the unconditional right to match prices found on other stores. A few weeks ago, when google had their ten cent app
sale, all of the apps were discounted.in the amazon market as well.
Amazon actually has a program that automatically adjusts prices. This has led to some strange behavior in the past. Once a vendor distributed a free chapter from a book only to find out that Amazon had automatically made his entire book free. In a more interesting scenario, a book's price was increased leading to a fight between two automatic pricing systems. After all was said and done, the book was priced on amazon for millions of dollars.
I told myself that I was not buying another Gameloft game after the 10cent sales and every game I bought from them did not work on the Kindle Fire If I still had the apk files I would compare the version between the amazon and market and see what they changed because we all know all it was is a hardware check.
do this:

and all of the gameloft games will show.

[SURVEY]Mobile Gaming Survey

Hi all,
We at PhoneJoy (www.phonejoy.us) - a small mobile gaming accessories startup - are currently working on new gaming controllers for smartphones and tablets. To get a better insight into gamers need we are currently conducting an opinion poll on mobile gaming.
Please have a look at: http://fluidsurveys.com/s/phonejoy2012/?get=11
Out of all participants we will randomly choose three people who will win one out of three PhoneJoys or alternatively $30 in PayPal cash, Amazon.com or iTunes gift voucher whichever suits you more.
The survey only takes 10 minutes. And your help is much much appreciated by us!
Thanks
Only available for Smartphone owners; even those that do own a tablet? :/
Tablets are fine too of course. I have changed the qualifying questions. Thanks for the pointer!

OK then, I've completed your survery. I hope it helps.
Thanks. Really appreciate all the help we can get. This will do a great deal for us to raise funds in July.
Not familiar with your product but I did the survey. Mobile gaming needs to move forward. Can't really afford a controller for my phone so I hope I'm selected, otherwise it'll be awhile, haha...
Survey completed
Really good looking gamepad !
Hope I'm selected for the prize :silly:
Thanks! Yes, we have nearly finished the next controller and need to raise further funds and understand the needs of mobile gamers better, so that we can improve upon our offering.
