Last night I put my gear s2 on the original oem charger, like I do every night. This morning, I got it from the charger, and it was kind of hot. And now, it is off. Does not turn on at all. I have held the power button for 30 seconds, I have held both buttons for 30 seconds, nothing turns it on. When I put it on the charger, the led on the charger goes from red to blue, but nothing lights up on the watch. What could be wrong? I bought the watch 1 month ago, on Amazon. But I have no warranty, since I bought it in USA, and brought it to Brazil.... please help... =[

Okay so long story short, I got my phone wet and the power button stopped working, so I put it in the oven for 10 minutes at 180F and the power button worked again. I plugged it in when I went to bed to let it charge. When I woke up, the phone was dead and the LED was blinking red and green. I did my research and learned this is a problem caused by overheating. So I've tried the method where you charge the battery with the center 2 plates covered. Did not work. I've charged with the spare battery and had no problems there.
If you guys could help me out that would be appreciated!
Hello.
Two days ago I accidentally went swimming with my HTC in my pocket, was about 5 minutes in water. Afterwards placed it in bag of rice for 24 hours and it didn't turn on, red light flashing, bottom buttons flashing while holding power button and screen popped up for half a second like it would turn off. After that disassembled it and let it dry for 10 hours. Assembled it together and the red light was not flashing anymore as I connected the charger but as soon as I tried to turn it on it started flashing like before.
The motherboard is warm when I have connected it to the wall charger for a few minutes.
What should I do to try it fix?
EDIT1: Charged it for 3 hours with wall charger, still blinking red LED light..
Hello,
first of all, I've read every other guide on the internet with the same problem, I haven't found a fix yet.
My problem is a little bit different then others.
A couple of days ago my phone got really hot, so I decided to stop use it so it can cool a bit. It still had like 80% battery remaining. After it was cooled down a bit it wasn't powered on anymore and I was unable to boot it up, it was just dead. I placed it in the fridge for about half an hour, after that it was working fine again.
Now I have the problem that it won't power on again. If I plug it into the wall (original charger) There is just a white LED on the front, which means the phone is too low to turn the screen on, After 2 minutes or so the white LED disappers, but the screen is not turning on. If I plug it off and on again the white LED is back on.
When the LED is gone i tried pressing some buttons according to some guides in the internet. The only result was, when I pressed the power down and the power button while the white LED is off, it just comes back on after exactly 2 minutes.
I also tried 3 different batteries, 2 of them are original motorola batteries for the MotoG, the other one a cheap ebay one.
Is there any chance I can bring it back to live? Or at least get my data recovered?
Greetings,
Lukas

same here
So I Dropped My Moto G in water, I immediately turned it off and shoved in a bag o' rice for approximately 2 Hours, and being the impatient person I am I took it out :silly: and started using it. This is where the problems began to show. I would press the power button and the screen would turn off and then it would just turn back on. Whatever, big deal, I thought but I was wrong. Then the screen stopped turning on. Well, maybe it died. So I plugged it in and the notification light went blinking on and off. Then I tried to turn it on again and it did not work. Well $hit, I thought there goes my phone. So I stuffed back in the bag of rice and left it there for a week and a half and when I plug it in to charge it, the blinking blinked on and off (which indicates it charging) and it still doesn't turn on. So I try Holding the Power+Volume Down and the blinking stopped, but then 10 seconds later it resumed.
So my question is : what parts should I purchase to fix this phone?
P.S. The screen is cracked but it worked before the incident
Hey guys,
a few days ago I accidentally dropped an HTC One E8 in water and obviously it doesn't work anymore. Before buying a new one I wanted to ask, if some of our "HTC experts" may have suggestions on what else I could try before giving up.
The situation: I dropped it in water, didn't turn it off (dumb, I know) and it worked for around 10 minutes until it powered off. I left it in rice for a day and it didn't turn on or charge. At this point I nearly gave up.
I left it for in rice (about 48 hours) and - the orange led was flashing while charging. Even the screen turned on and it showed a charging symbol first and after a few seconds it showed a red circle and a white exclamation mark. After some time I could power it on and the touchscreen worked and I could use it, but it still was around 1%/0%. The screen flickered, but it was usable. I wanted to plug it in my computer then to rescue some data, but 5 seconds after I took it off power (to switch from the wall charger to my PC) it died.
Now I tried it to power it on for like 2 days, but with no charger connected nothing happens and when I connect the charger, the orange led is on constantly. I tried power/volume- and power/volume+, but nothing happens. Not even the charging indicator comes up, the screen is completely dead.
Are there any steps to try before giving up? By the way I don't want to disassemble it
Thanks in advance
