[Q] Sensation not charging, LED blinking red and green - HTC Sensation

Okay so long story short, I got my phone wet and the power button stopped working, so I put it in the oven for 10 minutes at 180F and the power button worked again. I plugged it in when I went to bed to let it charge. When I woke up, the phone was dead and the LED was blinking red and green. I did my research and learned this is a problem caused by overheating. So I've tried the method where you charge the battery with the center 2 plates covered. Did not work. I've charged with the spare battery and had no problems there.
If you guys could help me out that would be appreciated!

[Q] Help!! [Solved]

Hi Guys,
Does anyone have an Idea what fast blinking amber light means on DS?
My battery was low around 2% and I connected it to the stock charger and started watching a movie, after 10 mins or so my phone switched off and amber colored light started to flash, I am not able to switch it on now and after 30 mins or so even the blinking light went off.
Had Aplha CM10 ROM flashed and was working normally till now keeping my fingers crossed that it is not bricked. Please tell me it is not:crying:
EDIT:
Solved: Finally revived my phone by directly charging the battery from the USB port of my laptop. Seems the battery went too flat to charge itself in the phone.

Did it start charging when you connected the charger? when the desire S has no battery at all, and you connect the power, the light blinks, meaning that it hasn't got enough power to boot
So just make sure the charger works and leave it charging for a couple of minutes untill you get the classic charging LED on, and then try to boot again

Thanks TataoValverde, so I guess it is not bricked. I had left the phone connected to the charger overnight but still it doesn't boot so it means it is not charging. Now nothing happens not even blinking light
So is there anyway i can revive it??
Make sure the battery is making connection - use a piece of paper to hold it firmly in place if necessary.
Try a different charger - any USB one should be fine.
Or buy a new battery as its much cheaper than a new phone.
If the charging circuitry on the phone is screwed then there is nothing you can really do unless you fancy changing the main board.

[Q] Water damaged HTC One S

Hello.
Two days ago I accidentally went swimming with my HTC in my pocket, was about 5 minutes in water. Afterwards placed it in bag of rice for 24 hours and it didn't turn on, red light flashing, bottom buttons flashing while holding power button and screen popped up for half a second like it would turn off. After that disassembled it and let it dry for 10 hours. Assembled it together and the red light was not flashing anymore as I connected the charger but as soon as I tried to turn it on it started flashing like before.
The motherboard is warm when I have connected it to the wall charger for a few minutes.
What should I do to try it fix?
EDIT1: Charged it for 3 hours with wall charger, still blinking red LED light..

Help please help

Hey I have a problem but first let me tell the story
I fell asleep with only 30% battery in my phone and when I woke up it didn't want to turn on. I tried to turn if on but didn't work. I tried to charge my phone it worked but the screen and the LED only blinked and still blinks until I post this. It's been 6 hours since I've charge my phone in that condition blinking screen and led. I've tried to unplugged from charging but my phone was totally died and still. When I tried to charge it again the blinking screen and led came. I thought it worked.
I haven't done anything to my phone

Water damage only orange led

Hey guys,
a few days ago I accidentally dropped an HTC One E8 in water and obviously it doesn't work anymore. Before buying a new one I wanted to ask, if some of our "HTC experts" may have suggestions on what else I could try before giving up.
The situation: I dropped it in water, didn't turn it off (dumb, I know) and it worked for around 10 minutes until it powered off. I left it in rice for a day and it didn't turn on or charge. At this point I nearly gave up.
I left it for in rice (about 48 hours) and - the orange led was flashing while charging. Even the screen turned on and it showed a charging symbol first and after a few seconds it showed a red circle and a white exclamation mark. After some time I could power it on and the touchscreen worked and I could use it, but it still was around 1%/0%. The screen flickered, but it was usable. I wanted to plug it in my computer then to rescue some data, but 5 seconds after I took it off power (to switch from the wall charger to my PC) it died.
Now I tried it to power it on for like 2 days, but with no charger connected nothing happens and when I connect the charger, the orange led is on constantly. I tried power/volume- and power/volume+, but nothing happens. Not even the charging indicator comes up, the screen is completely dead.
Are there any steps to try before giving up? By the way I don't want to disassemble it
Thanks in advance

Sony Xperia Z3 (D6616) - Sudden Death

Was accessing dual recovery to wipe for a clean slate and it had a sudden death. The charging LED was no longer lit. Left the phone alone for about 2 weeks to let it drain but no response. Decided to order another battery for testing thinking it may have been bad, still no response. What I did notice is that if the battery is removed and the charger is connected, the LED blinks red constantly. However, if I were to attach the battery connector the LED will stop blinking after a few seconds. Is this an issue with the motherboard itself or can there something be done to bring it back to life?
*Update*
Let it charge for a couple of hours. Still not turning on but getting some response at least. The phone will now vibrate in sets of 3's if I hold down Power and Volume +. When trying to charge, the red LED will come on for 5 seconds then off every 5 seconds. When connected to the PC, it shows as unidentified USB, but the sound of it being disconnected is constantly going off. Not sure if anyone knows how I should proceed from here...

Hi my phone is a D6603 and i was having a very and inusual problem like you Sudden death with some response vibrating in sets of 3's. My problem was resolve when i remove the sim then press the reset button 2 times in a row but slowly and the phone was starting again
I dont remember if it was or not conected try both ways
Back up your files and start working to keep it warm and dry, remember that it can be water damage. I downloaded minergate and began to mine in easy difficulty so that it would not become slow, but at the same time to keep it warm. It is only to dry if it was damaged by water, I do not recommend anyone to mine with a smartphone xD
