[WIDGET] Tiny Battery Widget

Hi,
after trying many battery widgets and all were missing some features from others, i made my own inspired by those i tried.
i would like to receive some feedback from real users as i have only two devices for testing. in current state it is a 1x1 widget showing battery level called Tiny Battery Widget. the battery icon has three sizes: big (default), normal and tiny. colors and the levels at which the colors change are also customizable.
battery level is reported in 1% steps also for motorola phones. it is a precise value, not an estimate. it was reported to wrok on a droid x. please let me know if it works on other motorolas or not. are there any other phones that report battery level in 10% steps by default? report every issue in this thread, thank you.
after clicking the battery icon a system settings toggler dialog shows and users can switch some system settings:
- turn WiFi on/off
- turn Bluetooth on/off
- turn GPS on/off
- turn mobile data on/off
- turn airplane mode on/off (optional, enable in settings)
mobile data switch toggles only mobile data, mms will always work. it is compatible with APNdroid and if the APNdroid is installed it toggles the mobile data through it (so mms could be also disabled).
the dialog also provides a quick access to WiFi/BT/GPS/APN settings and can be automatically closed after some events e.g. WiFi connected/disabled, BT enabled/disabled (check the settings).
internet access is for Ads only and GPS is for quick enable/disable only.
uninstall with mobile data enabled or you will have to manually edit APN names to enable it (or just install back the Tiny Battery Widget or APNdroid to re-enable mobile data).
this widget was made for me, and released to public. looking forward to your feedback and enjoy!

[MOD][MIUI] Recovery option on power menu (11-30 MIUI build)

So I got tired of having to manually holding the power+volume keys to go into recovery every time so I added the Recovery menu option to the power menu. Sharing here in case anyone else would like to have it as well. I also took a look at the 4-way boot mod and I personally just prefer having the option directly on the main Power menu instead of a submenu.
Firstly, thanks to Isaacj87 for putting together the MIUI port!
Secondly, thanks to untermensch on xda for the guide.
I REPLACED the Guard option on the power menu so if you like that option, DO NOT use this mod. Basically, you can't change the array size from 5 options to 6 options without the phone crashing when creating the dialog--there's a bunch of verifications on the dialog size in a bunch of different places that is a real pain to try and follow. I didn't want to mess with that so, since I never used the Guard option anyways, I just replaced it--and I don't know how to make a popup window in smali like the Recovery option on CM7 so I don't have any plans on doing that as well at this time.
I also changed the carrier name to MIUI.
In order to see the power menu Phone Options dialog, you need to change your Toggle Settings to Compact view, otherwise, it will just show you your notification bar toggles when you hold down your Power button. To do that:
Settings --> Personal Tab --> Toggle Settings --> Compact
Or as bing7625 mentioned, you can lock your phone and then hold down the power button on the lockscreen.
This has only been tested with Isaac's current 11-30 MIUI builds. Instructions to install:
1. Download Zip file and flash in ClockworkMod recovery.

[APP][2.2+] Shake Flashlight App! ?? (no root)

Shake Flashlight App! lets you configure shake for torch, background mode, use screen light or LED and more.
There are millions on flashlight apps out there, none had the customization options I wanted and often required root or included spyware. So I made my own... :good:

}
When you first open the app a dialog will allow you to set recommended settings. The recommended settings activate the following options: Start flashlight when app launches, Vibration feedback, Shake for torch and Run in background (so shake for torch can be used at any time - even with the screen off).
By tapping the settings button you can change any settings such as using the screen as the flashlight instead of the LED, you can also choose to have the screen remain on when the app is open.
This app only needs the camera permission (to use the camera's LED).
You can customize the shake strength. On my Nexus 5x and Galaxy S8 for an easy to activate nightlight I use Shake strength 30-40, otherwise about 70 is better for preventing accidental shakes - A karate chop gesture should do the trick
It's now in version 1.1, I've added more features such as an automatic off timer option where you can configure a timeout.
I've tried to keep the app easy to use with a clean appearance whilst still having plenty of customization options. Any suggestions for any features people would like to see added would be great....The only additional tweaks I can think of at the moment are customizable backgrounds within the app and configurable vibration strengths... but this would probably be overkill for a lightweight torch app!
Download:
I've attached the latest APK (it's around 1.5MB), it's also on the Play Store too
* Edit 24/04/2019 - Updated APK (to allow the app to work on newer versions of Android). Background and screen off responsiveness varies by device. Definitely recommend you disable battery optimisations for the app for better reliability.

[Experiment] MARS Vendor Overlay for GSI ROMs

Hello Folks!
Had a long Night and just wanted to share what i've done in some Hours of Work. I have enabled various Features which aren't available on our Xperias running GSIs normally. The following is mainly added and noticeable:
-Always on Display Options (Lift up, Notify, AoD Toggles)
-Ambient Display (With Pixel Wallpaper Support)
-Double Tap to wake (Dependend on the ROM i think)
-Doze and Power Profiles enabled (Saves Juice and works with AoD/Ambient)
-Lockscreen Rotation (AoD / Ambient rotates too)
-360 Degreee Rotation (Systemwide Rotation possible in all orientations)
-AUTO White Balance (Display Settings)
-Optimized AUTO Backlight handling
And various other Things i found around the Web (Google and other Devices) which may or may not need ROMs like Havoc or such with extended UI and Pixel Content.
I never worked with Overlays before so this is my first attemp. I will update the Overlay from Time to Time since it will be part of My MARS_SOM and there is much more to come. Another Unique Piece from Me....
Install:
-Download the attached Overlay from this Post
-Copy the Overlay with a Root Browser (JRummys Root Explorer does it) to /vendor/overlay
-Give it the correct Rights which are 0644 -rw-r--r-- (Owner and Group = Root / 0)
-Reboot and enjoy <3

100% Stable to use. I ran it with PHHs V220 AOSP GSI with GApps and no other Edits. Working just fine and everything is tested... Hope it will be appreciated
Removing the Overlay since it is now in the wrong Section. This has nothing to do with Theming or Modding. Thanks for moving My Thread while Others can Post Questions and sh** in all possible Sections...

Hi there,
I'm so glad I came across your post. I've been trying to figure out how this feature works in my unrooted Lenovo M10 HD 2ndGen tablet. I see it in Settings/Sound/Sound Enhancement with only one solitary setting and when enabled, nothing changes. Sound is what it has always been, the same, then and now. I've had my tablet for a year now. My question is how does this feature work ? What does BesLoudness require in order to work ? I have disabled certain features of my tablet for security and privacy reasons, for the same reason, some apps are disabled like Maps, Social Media apps. I have also disallowed certain permissions for certain apps that I felt no need to allow since I never used the feature the permission was required for. Somewhere along the way I might have disabled certain settings, or disallowed permissions that unknowingly rendered BesLoudness not to work.
This BesLoudness Volume Booster for Speakers has stumped me for a year now. Thank you for reading this.
Marco
