Hi there,
I'm so glad I came across your post. I've been trying to figure out how this feature works in my unrooted Lenovo M10 HD 2ndGen tablet. I see it in Settings/Sound/Sound Enhancement with only one solitary setting and when enabled, nothing changes. Sound is what it has always been, the same, then and now. I've had my tablet for a year now. My question is how does this feature work ? What does BesLoudness require in order to work ? I have disabled certain features of my tablet for security and privacy reasons, for the same reason, some apps are disabled like Maps, Social Media apps. I have also disallowed certain permissions for certain apps that I felt no need to allow since I never used the feature the permission was required for. Somewhere along the way I might have disabled certain settings, or disallowed permissions that unknowingly rendered BesLoudness not to work.
This BesLoudness Volume Booster for Speakers has stumped me for a year now. Thank you for reading this.
Marco

Hi !
My name is Sylvain, I'm french and with some friends we created an application to help you when you have a big phone : One Thumb Control.
At first this was a school project at our university but we decided to finish it and to publish it in the playstore to see if people like it.
The app works a little bit like pie control. You can open it from anywhere and you navigate in the app with only one thumb.
It works with different modules that you can activate or not and customize. We have several modules :
_a file explorer
_a quick app launcher
_a quick settings module
_a music player
_a communication module (send Sms...)
_and a contact module.
The app is still in beta so it can be laggy or crash sometimes but we are still working on it to make it better.
Just some screenshot :
If you have any suggestion (new modules, new options...) we are open to everything
And the link to the PlayStore : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nf28.aotc
Nice work :good:
Thank you
The app looks great but the permissions, specifically internet access have me a little concerned. I understand the need for most of those permission but when tied to the full network access it can be worrisome. Would it be possible to remove that permission (seeing as there are no ads)?
As I remember, I needed this permission for the WiFi toggle in the quick communication module. I need to check that but I'm not sure I can remove it.
I know that the app require a lot of permission due to all the modules. It would be better after I change the target to Marshmallow and update the permission system.

OK well once you find out if it is required let us know. I am enjoying the app though, great work. Privacy is always an issue these days!

[APP][4.1+][NO ROOT]DPI Changer

Sometimes you just don't like the size of the items on your screen. If you're lucky, your phone's software has its own DPI changer of sorts, where you can choose among a few different presets, but what if you want more options, or you aren't one of the lucky few with that feature?
Well, this app aims to fix that problem on any Android device running 4.1 or later. There are quite a few apps out there that change your DPI, but this one doesn't actually require root, even if you aren't running Nougat. You will have to reboot if you aren't rooted, but hey, that's better than being around a computer all the time to use ADB, right?
There are instructions in the app for the setup and usage.
IMPORTANT:
- I don't know if this will work on every device running Android 4.1+. I was able to test it on an emulator running 4.1, along with various LG and Samsung devices on Marshmallow and Nougat, but that obviously doesn't include everything. Send some feedback if it isn't working for you, and include your device + Android version.
- Non-root mode requires you to execute a one-time ADB command (unless you uninstall and reinstall the app). From then on, all you'll need is a reboot.
- Avoid setting the DPI below 72. I don't specifically know what happens, but I know Android tools prevent this from happening by default. I will build the limit into this app in a future update.

@ProGuy1 if you can use ADB to change your DPI, that's great! But some people don't know how or don't have constant access to a computer. I figured rebooting would be more convenient than finding a computer with ADB.
Also, devices on 4.3 and above no longer need to reboot, whether rooted or not.
@S. Loranca You can certainly translate it if you want. The source code is on GitHub. Look in `/res/values/strings.xml`.

Thanks for making this! I saw the "Display Size" setting missing on my new Xiaomi phablet; a few apps I tried on the play store failed, but this app works perfectly.
For reasons you'll see soon, I'm removing this project from XDA and closing the thread. If you have the app right now, email me or PM me with any questions.

TrustNotify by K4CZP3R
Hi! Year ago I came up with FaceNotify, app which hides content of your notifications and shows them only when it recognizes your face!
I've got this idea from iOS, now Google implemented it for their Pixel phones but it's still not widely used by other OEM's, that's why I am here with TrustNotify!
FaceNotify works only with face recognition, TrustNotify works fully with Smartlock (face, trusted bluetooth & location)!
Installation guide
Text based and Video based
Many OEMS are restricting background processes (to save battery)so your experience may vary (I did not experienced any issues). You can follow dontkillmyapp.com guide for your OEM.
TrustNotify is using background process to detect screen on/screen off event, so it does not consume battery in the background, because it's only active when those event are occuring.
Get it on Google Play

TrustNotify - Hide your notifications when lock screen is secure, App for all devices (see above for details)

I don't know why this place is empty. Great app btw.
Just one bug I see. On my Samsung phone, sometime the notification opens, but the notification box is cut by half. So I need to turn off and turn on the screen again to read it.
Thanks fo the job
Just one problem: service wont start at boot (of course i enabled the function)
I'm on Oneplus5T
ONEPLUS A5010 by Tapatalk
Installed on Oneplus 8, but somehow my notifications stay hidden even though my phone detects my face (that's if I choose "Hide Whole Notification" option :/
Hide only content works though
Am I doing something wrong?
Hi there! Your site for the Helper and the text guide is down. Could you please upload the helper somewhere else? I would really like for it to be working on my samsung.

[Huawei GMS] TWOYi open-source alternative to Gspace or VMOS

I dislike the popular replacement solutions for GMS as they aren't open-source and some are full of ads.
The closed-sources software I reffer: SandVXposed / SlimVXposed, VMOS, VPhoneGaga, GSpace and some other variants based on, newer, closed source variant of VirtualApp.
So, here it comes Twoyi.
Twoyi will run a container version of Android, fully editable, a top of existing OS. It's similar to VirtualXposed (same author), only that let you customize OS, support GMS, root, etc. .
The public OSS release variant on Github version is outdated at 0.5.4 and got screen tearing problems.
Latest released version is > 0.7.X can be found in the Chinese CoolApk and works fine.
Don't worry, the menu is in English. You can install GMS from the menu inside the app.
The source is not yet released for latest version.
What lacks is ability to create app shortcut on Home Screen, so you need to open the Twoyi in order to access GPlay or other apps.
Performance comparasion using Geekbench 5: TwoYi - 2281, Native - 2337. The drop is insignifiant.
Tested on Huawei Matepad 10.4, HarmonyOS 2.0, Android 10.
Discussions on Telegram, other media and chat.
This is not my app, and it's still doesn't have a proper OSS for latest version, but at least developer seems to be active.
Still don't recommend to use it for accounts that you want to remain secure.

Question Pad Plus (TB-J607F) new ZUI 14 issues

Hi all,
I just updated my Pad Plus to ZUI 14 - v14.0343 ST (original china ROM), and I noticed a few changes:
*I had to use VPN to get the OTA update, and after update, I did a factory reset just to have a clean install
- First off, it took me quite some time to figure out how to run google play store, as it didnt allow me to sign in, eventually found out I had to go to Settings > Apps management > 3 dots on top > Google Basic Services > and enable it
- After going through the settings, some things are slightly better, the UI feels nicer, but not much difference, main differences I noticed:
- PC mode is gone, now it only works when you plug an external display
- Some new improvements for the Lenovo Pen
- Improved taskbar
- Some keys of my PS5 DualSense controller don't work, and the right analog doesn't work either (Is anyone also encounternig a similar issue? what about on the Global Rom
Has anyone seen similar issue as above with mismapped controllers on same version or on global?
Also Im considering installing the Global version of TB-J607Z on my TB-J607F, can someone confirm if its better and I see here these versions:

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Are those the last two? or is there another update received via OTA?
For whoever has TB-J607F but is running the version of TB-J607Z if you could let me know, please, Im just a bit concerned as the process seems a bit complex, and am afraid of loosing W L1
Much appreciated, thanks
"Global" versions from 607z model lets say they just bad, stick to your zui rom.
Can you give me Pad Plus to ZUI 14 - v14.0343 ST (original china ROM). I need an backup rom.
