My device matches the XDA app theme, which is very slick and AMOLED-friendly, using the following:
* Super SwiftKey with the "Jaggyjags Sense Yellow" theme. FYI all SwiftKey themes are free at the moment, there are some official ones that look decent.

* Nova Launcher with "Lines Free - Icon pack"
* Custom widget I made using KWGT, which is the bomb. My widget is attached, you need PRO version to load it.
* Textra with black and yellow colors

I created this layout for the galaxy tab!
I use launcher pro plus with 10x10 columns/rows and 182dpi
-I posted two pictures but there are 6 in the zip.
-Use multipicture live wallpaper from market! To apply the Wallpapers has nice transitions! and the newest version has a galaxy tab option which seems to speed it up and make it smooth!
-Using desktop visualizer you can place them over the tabs with a blank png as the icon!
-For the app drawer i use the launcher pro draw icon! (See Pic)
- The weather and battery widgets are minimalistic text app from the market (I placed my minimalistic preferences in the zip. So place the folder on the root of your SD Card. And when you open the app up just go to restore at the bottom!)
-The wifi on/off is my own and in the zip just install with apkinstaller or somrthing like that!
-This theme only works in landscape!

APK Edit will allow you to change the icon and/or application name for any program... very easy to use.

OK, a lot easier way to do this is to download "Apex Launcher" or "Nova Launcher" from the play store. They both support icon packs. There are many free ones out on the play store (stock jellybean, motorola icons, lg icons, google icons, touchwiz icons...etc)

I've been using Apex launcher for a while now an I really like it. The best feature is letting me change the home page grid size. I really prefer to have 5 x 4 instead of the default 4x4.
I find GO Launcher EX to be an excellent launcher as it has some many plugins available so you can customize every aspect of the O/S to make it look exactly like you want. It also has a complete widget series for further customization. I like the custom calendar, weather, and notifications it provides. Also there is a really cool SMS text message app that add many custom icons to your text messages.
Since home launcher for Android are so important and there are so many, I decided to do a list here. This is not all of them but a good many and includes some of the most popular. i took a look at that unity launcher and i think it looks pretty great. im going to buy it soon to check it out. on that note, there are 2 other similar apps that i HAVE tried
Swipepad- you can set up a gird of up to 3x4 apps and choose a part of the screen youd like to swipe from. although it sounds limited, you can actually have different content in each grid, with up to 9 grids. which gives enough room for 108 apps. it also has 3 addons, but those are all paid. one lets you access contacts and recent tasks when you swipe the action area. one addon lets you launch/activate widgets. the last addon lets you get up to 6x4 grids, doubling your total app size.

Relauncher- i didnt like this one as much size it was TOO all inclusive. also allows you to swipe from a desired spot. once you do, you have several categories, but the category icons are all lined up on the side like unity. You can rearrange what category you want what apps in. The apps show up in a "grid" format. but relauncher learns your behavior. the more you use an app FROM relauncher, the closer it will get to the edge of the screen so that your swipes arent so large. unfotunately, i have 250+ apps at any given time, and this just looks messy and feels clunky. but i can assure it works well. relauncher is free, but does have a nag-pop-up. in order to get rid of the nag, you have to buy the key. dev is promising more "pro" only updates in the future, but there is currently no extra features
