GWD: change background - Samsung Gear S2

Hello
I need a little help here, i want to change the background on one of my watch watchface, i make the background as button and set to change image, but no matter where you press you change the image, can you make so that only a small part of the screen, fx a small circle on left side. and only then you press that the hole background change.
Hope you understand..

Try this:
Have or create a png image that is blank (no image or colors, if you understand what I am trying to describe). In GWD select Background then choose the blank png file. Resize and reposition the background then select Set as button. Select Change image and assign a new image or face.
I am fairly certain this will achieve your goal.

But attention: the image, to which you change, always has the same size and position of the first image.

Noted. I should have clarified that the new blank background to be added simply serves to function as an invisible "change face" button. I think this is what the op is trying to do.

i will have a go at it

Background Image Sizes: setting an image as a background..

I've got a 240x320 JPG image on my Storage Card that I want to make a background on O2 today. I know I can go to Album and pick the file and set it as a background but it doesn't appear 'full screen' as a background and has a white boarder all around it.
I tried increasing the image size to 600x800 as a test and it does the same. How can I get the image to fully fit the background?
Also, if there any way to change the text colours that appear in the menu drop-downs, etc.?
Finally, what's a good FREE way to be able to create a .TSK file?
typed this
http://www.google.dk/search?hl=da&q=today+screen+creator+2003&btnG=Google-søgning&meta=
got this
http://www.ppcw.net/?itemid=1866&catid=80
and from that i got this

this

& this
http://www.funnysnake.com/products_tkcreater.php

Forget about the Iphone skin, just use this instead.

So you want this popular look, here’s how to legally do it.
Download the following three programs:
Wisebar advance 2 (to load the black_panther theme, search for it)
cLauncher (to make the tables for the clickable icons)
funnysnake tkcreater (to change the font to white and make the background black)
Once all three programs are on your PDA/smartphone, go to your today screen and go to ITEMS. Uncheck everything except cLauncher.
Now open Wisebar 2 and go to settings > custom theme. Import the black panther theme.
Go into the settings of cLauncher and setup as follows for 640 x 480 VGA (if you have QVGA, simply play with the margin settings until it looks right)
Icon size 32 (very important)
(check) icon name enable size 45
(check) Icon name at bottom size 15
Icon Margins (for VGA) horizontal 5 , vertical 5
Window Margins left 10, top 15 , right 0, bottom 0
For skin I use this for a nice black background: http://www.pocketpcthemes.com/preview.asp?ID=58566
It will stretch and the logo will disappear.
Under options on cLaunch set for the following:
“main” uncheck all groups except main.
“system” cLaunch height 265
“tab” uncheck everything. This will remove the lines and tabs and leave only your main screen. To get back into the settings go towards the bottom of the screen and tap and hold in a blank area to bring up the options for cLauncher (since you won’t have a settings icons anymore).
Now, to setup the icons and shortcuts simply go into the options screen of cLauncher by going to the bottom of the screen in a blank area and tap and hold for a second.
Choose “add” and seek the program you wish to make the shortcut. Now go to “change icon” and choose an icon. You’ll need to have loaded 32x32 icons you wish to use in a folder to choose from and they need to be BITMAP icons so when you cut them up, resize and save them, make sure you use bitmap 32x32 size.
I’m sure you will have creatively came up with Icons somewhere…..
Now just launch Tkcreater to change the font color to white and if you are not using my favorite skin up there for a background you’ll be able to use the slider in Tkcreater to adjust “transparent” settings which will black the entire background out when the slider is all the way to the right. What you do here with the menu won’t be valid because the Black_panther theme will override the menu.
If you do this with the setting I have provided, this will be your end result.

Enjoy!
If you do this let me know It's better than working from a skin because it is easy to change this way.
please, send the url of the iphone standard icons.

Ho can i set my icon transparancy colorin claunch , i can't find it

I noticed that too. I'd say it's going to look a lot like this -- after I followed the original instructions on setting it up per decknologist's post several months ago.

Remove colour bars from homescreen

hi ppl.
i want to know how to remove a coloured bar that displays on the homescren by default. i am attaching a screenshot of my homescreen for your reference. the bar displays where 'Hutch' is written i.e. where teh operator name shows.
secondly, is there any way to make the top and bottom bars transparent so that any image covers the entire screen, but retains the icons n text (eg. edge icon, contacts field, start menu etc?)
anyone ?
You need to modify that theme. Upload it and I'll do it. It's located under ApplicationData\Home\xxx.scheme.xml
thanks pal. i am attaching the 'simple home' xml and a screenshot of same.
i would like the following things to be edited:
1. no top n bottom colour bars (should be transparent to take colour of any picture i put as wall paper)
2. no colour bar where it says 'Hutch' (operator) - same effect as point one.
3. Would it be possible to reduce the font sizes too ?
thank you for your precious time and patience.
Here you go.
Oh, it is not possible to remove the bottom.
@frauhottelmann
yeehaw !!! thanks a ton pal. the home screen looks real cool.
don't want to overstay my welcome but is there anyway to keep changing the lower bar colour ?
theres a software called base hue express. that changes the bottom bar colour. but i dont think it can make it transparent.
In home screen settings you can choose Color schemes (only basic colors) otherwise you would have to modify the theme again!

Background Wallpaper Problem

Hi all,
I have HTC p3300
and I have installed Artemis Touch 3.01 Everything works great.
The only problem I have is when I go and try to change the Wallpaper to my jpg images that i have on my SD.
The images become 50 white like there would be a white layer on top of them with 50% opacity Is this normal? is there a setting somewhere that makes the images look normal when they become walpapers?
Please help.
Thanks.
open the file explorer, and navigate to the directory where the picture is, and hold n click on the picture for the menu and click set as background picture or whatever is correct option.
it'll show the picture and an opacity meter, set to 0
when i hold the picture it gives me the option to set it as todays background, and than when i choose it, the options dissapear without any opacity options. and than the background is set to that image.
Just use the Pictures & Videos app to select the pic.

Today background colour

Hi.
I don't think this is an easy one, but I'll ask anyway.
When you use "Pictures & Videos" to select an image to use as your Today background, you are given the option of "Transparency Level". I just wondered if there's a way to select what colour is 'behind' the image when you do this. At the moment, it's white (or close enough), so the image gets lighter with more transparency. I would like it black, so that the image gets darker with more transparency. Realistically, you should be able to assign any colour, so you can almost colourize an image by altering its transparency.
Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks.

It is not a " white colored " background. It is a " lack of color " background, no image.
You cannot overlap two today background images.

I don't want to "overlap" two today background images. If you read the question, you'll see that I've explained the background colour is white, which it is.
Set the background image to 100% transparent and you'll see white. A background with a "lack of colour" would actually be black (see transparency, 0 value colour etc. for both windows & web development.)
Something, somewhere, defines that white is used as the background colour (it may actually be an overlay for the image, with inverse transparency, as opposed to a transparent image over a solid colour.) This may be a registry entry, but it's just as likely hard-coded into the OS. Either way, that is my question.
Thanks for trying to help.
