Hi, I have a problem with my I-Mate K-jam. The problem is when i press the power button internet explorer opens and the none of the buttons on the phone are working but when i start a new application and close it than all the buttons except the internet explorer stars to work. also it is not possible to hard reset the device because it does not except when you push answer button.
I need some help about this problem. I will be glad if some one can help me

Let me see if I'm understanding what you're saying here.... Internet explorer opens when you push the power on/off button, no hardware or softkeys work, opening/closing apps, buttons work except the internet explorer button. You can't hard re-set because of the answer key. All phones can be re-set back to mfg. settings. Im not familiar with the I-Mate K-Jam, but if it has a re-set hole, it can be re-set. First go to start/settings/system tab/clear storage/1234/Yes... If you're unable to get there...hold the comm mgr. and voice record buttons at the same time stick stylus in re-set hole...screen should develop multi-colors with message to send. Push the green phone button to send to mfg., wait a little bit, you're device will start up again with all programs previously installed lost unless you backup everything before you do this. Everything on your SD card should be saved, and not lost. To be safe, remove the SD card and sim card before hard re-setting.
When I open the camera program, the number in the upper right corner says that I only have 28 shots left. However, I still have 3 gigs of free space on my 8gb sandisk sdhc. Obviously, 28 pictures at 3 megapixels quality is not going to take up 3 gigs. Has anybody else experienced this problem? Thanks
Is the camera set to use the storage card? When you hit the arrow in the bottom middle and the 6 icons pop up in the bottom half of the screen. The one on the lower left says storage. Hitting it toggles between the phone and storage card. Try that. Or alternatively you can hit the bottom right button that pops up the "Capture Settings" menu and 5th option down is the Storage option. You can switch it from there.
Plus, does anyone know of a permanent fix to making the main camera having less lag? the video-call camera is perfect but the main camera does have some lag issues. I don't want to have to cover up the lens, turn the screen off, wait 8 seconds, then turn the screen back on every time I want a better shot.
Nope, there's no other way right now. It's a known issue with low frame rate in low light conditions that you circumvent with that hack you just mentioned.

Hi everyone ..I have a problem with the keyboard, when writing messages, after some time, I need more time to squeeze one and the same button that I accept, and sometimes show me all the buttons around that I want press ..does anyone know what the problem is or how to boost the sensitivity of the keyboard or what you need?thanks
just uninstall the stock keyboard using titanium backup and install a custom keyboard and make it your default one(make sure you place it in the internal memory not on SD card)..Swiftkey is the best out there.
So I updated 2 Sheilds to the 4.0 MM os and have a few questions. Please help if you know the answers
1. Do I have to swipe and select USB Transfer Files everytime I connect to a PC so I can see my files and folders in Windows? It defaults to Charge Only everytime I connect it.
2. I formatted the 64 GB SDCARD up as Internal. I cant see the folder anymore in Windows for it, only the Internal Storage drive shows under the Tablet, and its 11.6GB in size (WiFi 16GB tablet) Is this intended? Is the card only usable by the OS now? If I set it as Portable, would I still be able to move/install apps to it the same as Internal mode AND access it via Windows Explorer?
3. On the desktop I have a row of icons for some apps I use on a regular. However, there is a small white dot underneath the icons and the white circle shortcut for "Apps" is below that, I cant do **** with this shorcut and its annoying me. If I turn the tablet landscape the cicle shortcut will appear on the far right of the screen. I cant long hold/move it like any other icons, it just opens "All apps"
I am looking for a button which can disable/enable each SIM at the press of a button. The Moto phones have such short cuts in their settings menus when swiping down the screen.
Why I want this ? Because I don't want constant times 2 radiation from my phone when I am not using either of the SIMs.
I tried an app in the store, think is called SIM Control , but was not working.
