SIM disable / enable shortcut button ? - Sony XA2 Ultra Questions & Answers

I am looking for a button which can disable/enable each SIM at the press of a button. The Moto phones have such short cuts in their settings menus when swiping down the screen.
Why I want this ? Because I don't want constant times 2 radiation from my phone when I am not using either of the SIMs.
I tried an app in the store, think is called SIM Control , but was not working.

Treo 750. screen & keyboard lock problems...HELP NEEDED

Before, when I pressed the call end button(red button) my screen would go black. This was good because I had keyguard enabled. Now I think one of the apps I installed took the ability to lock the device with this one button.
Is there some kind of registry edit or phone option which can make the call end button lock my device????
have you checked your keyguard and lock settings? what are they set to?
PROBLEM SOLVED. HTC HOME plugin seems to disable some of the effects of pressing the (send) and (end) button. If you enable Dial Lookup on the Today setting it fixes the problem.
Thanks mate, I flashed my treo over a year ago but I don't use him quite alot because of the red button problem. Never thought that the solution was so simple...

Naming dial buttons on dual

Sure that this is obvious but cannot find it.
Is it possible to have the call buttons that select Sim 1 or 2 on the dual phone show a name (like work, private),?
Had dual Moto G and that was simply done via settings menu.
Maybe one of the alternative dialer apps have what you're looking for

Lock volume and menu bar on lock screen

I carry my Pixel XL in a holster and apparently I manage to hit the upper right (power) button, and volume key, turning my phone to silent....I do this constantly causing me to miss notifications. With the screen locked, I can push the upper right button (power button) and even though the screen IS STILL locked, I can access the upper menu. Is there any way to lock these functions when the screen is locked. Anyone messing with my phone can access a lot of the functions in the upper menu, even though the phone is locked. I've tried about everything I can think of, restarting phone, turning Ambient functions on/off....nothing figured out.
I have searched for an answer, but haven't located one. What I've seen is that with the OS/Pixel Setup, there is not a way to lock the volume or secure the upper menu screen on screen-lock. My Galaxy S5 completely locked, my friends iPhones completely lock.
As a temporary fix on the volume issue, I've downloaded "Volume Lock". It locks my volume, but my upper menu is still accessible.

Smart Lockscreen Protector works for keeping the power button from bringing up the power menu, but sadly when Android 8.1 came out on the Pixel, the app's option to block the status bar pulldown has been broken. It had worked perfectly before that. The app was last updated almost a year ago. I have happily purchased the Premium version, which might've been necessary to get it to auto-start (at least, built into the app auto-start). I may email the author and ask about that feature on Android 8.1.
I don't understand why this isn't standard or at least presented as an option.
FYI, even on Android 8.0 on some different devices than the Pixel, the app isn't able to block the status bar pulldown.
Edit: I emailed him.

Is it possible to turn off touch indicators on the lock screen?

I'm trying to find the option to hide the visual indicators for touchscreen presses (those white bubbles that pop up under your finger where you press) while on the lockscreen - because what's the point of a passcode if you're literally showing people where you press lol. I could swear there was an option for it back on my Nexus but I'm not finding it on the Pixel 3. Anyone know where the option is / what it's called / if it's possible at all on Android Pie?
I don't think it's possible, maybe with root. You could use the fingerprint sensor and then people wouldn't see your password..
PIN/pattern is required after reboots or after you enter lockdown mode (hold power button and it is under power off/reboot).

SINGLE TAP to Answer Calls help???? How to REMOVE assistant menu completly?

Looking for HELP with a feature. Im comming from the s10 plus. I always used the function TAP to Swipe feature which is used for tapping to answer phone calls instead of sliding to answer. Its an option in the assistant menu. If you go to settings> accessibility> interaction and dexterity> assistant menu on> single tap to swipe… it can be turned on. But the problem is you cant get rid of the menu completly. On the s10 plus we was able to do this and hide it. Only option to hide it is slightly as an edge option.
Anyone know how to get rid of it completly while still allowing tap to swipe for answering phone calls?
I read your question over and over and looked at your screenshots and I really cannot work out what you mean.

Instead of swiping to answer phone calls you can just tap the answer button. Its activated thru the assisted menu. But when you activate it… it leaves a circle menu on the screen that you can put anywhere on the screen. There is an option to move it to the edge panel. You can see it on the picturr here i have it in the top right corner. On my s10 plus you can completly hide it while still being able to tap amd answer phone calls instead of sliding it to answer. Its called SINGLE TAP TO SWIPE.
OK, I am with you now.
I just checked on my Note 10+ and it's the same.
You can however hide the panel by dragging it to the top of the screen to the X that appears, this places the menu in the notification area, so although it cannot be hidden completely at least it no longer blocks your screen.
Once in the notification area, if you tap and hold the notification and then the gear icon, you can minimise it further there.
Hope this helps somewhat!

Its the same on the s10 plus which is what i am comming from. Youll get a accessability notification in the pull down bar but that can also be illiminated. On the note 20 ultra however when you hold down on the panel… there is no hide option. The only option im seeing is to put it on the edge panel… which is better but you can still see it.
I have the Note 10+ and use the Assistant Menu button to use single tap to answer calls. I could hide the button by holding and dragging it to the top of the home screen and releasing it when I see the X. Worked great. I recently updated my phone and it now has One UI 2.5. I cannot now hide the Assistant Menu button when I drag it to the top. Looks like the hide function has been removed. I don't like this at all. I don't like having to move the button around the screen to avoid interference with text, graphics, games, etc. Samsung needs to correct this ASAP!
You can either purchase "package disabler pro" and disable the accessibility app. Or you can go to settings>apps>all apps> scroll to accessibility then force stop the app and clear cache. It will stay hidden until you restart the phone. Make sure you have the single tap setting enabled first before you do this
