Hi all, I'm.new to the Sony family.
I have a dual SIM XZ, and yesterday on a whim I bought a crystal ps4 controller because I'm a sucker for see thru electronics, and I had seen the menu option to pair the controller.
I'm discovering now I can't seem to find any games to use with it,is the pair ps4 option ONLY for ps4 remote Play..?
Or can I use it to play normal games ?
Thanks
I can play FF android games. FF1 to FF6.

Has anybody managed to make the Sony apps available for other tablets yet. I'd be very keen to use the ps3 apps on my motorola xoom.
What apps are you talking about? Ihave a tablet s and have yet to see any PS3 app!
the Sony website talks of an app to connect to a ps3 and to a sixaxis controller to play ps 3 games on the tablet....
So I'm sure this question has been asked and answered but I'd like to use a PS3 controller (or possibly another Bluetooth controller) on my Shield but I'm not sure how. I wanna be able to sit on the couch and play emulators without looking at one screen in my face and be able to play games multiplayer. Help would me much appreciated. I'm semi-new to Android. Before owning the shield I had a phone for a bit last year but couldn't get a controller to work on that either.
I also would like to try that.
with ipega or moga controller.
Don't know about the PS3 controller, but I use the OnLive BY controller and use the HDMI port on SHIELD to my TV...

Yes, works great.
You can use also a Xbox controller with a USB receiver.
If you want to use the PS3 controller you have to root your shield and use the famous sixaxis app from google play. To use the Xbox controller you don't need to root, because you're actually connecting the receiver to the USB in the shield.
Now that I tried both I prefer PS3 controller, because involves less cables and with the sixaxis app you can map buttons and change a lot of things.
I created a thread about gamepads here:

I usually play on my game pc with a sony dualshock 4 trough a software called inputmapper (it makes the sony dualshock 4 acts as a legit xbox controller without tweaking)
My question:
When i wan to use the Nvidia shield tablet to stream, my steam games from pc with a native resolution 1080 60p, is it possible to connect multiple sony dualshock 4 controllers to play the games without anny tweaking into the shield tablet ??
please let me know, cuz for this reason i want to buy a shield tablet, someone please confirm and let me know
Hi Guy's
I want to play co-ops games and i can't pair a second controller to my phone.
Please help me to add second controller to my Z5.
thx
You can't pair 2 bluetooth items at the same time as far as I'm aware. If you're playing on remote play for ps4 tho you don't need to pair the controller to the phone, you can leave it paired to the ps and use the phone as a screen only

Yep, that would work
I have had my Quest for a week now and I absolutely love it!
One question:
I have a few very decent Bluetooth gamepads – however in the app when I go in and click controllers, then it has the option to pair new device – it gives me the option to pair a left or right controller, and it also has the ability to pair a gamepad….however when I click to scan it does not show any of my gamepads even though they are all in pairing mode.
Whats the point in having the option if it doesnt see any bluetooth gamepads?
what other gamepads are there that you can add? is there a specific one i have to buy specifically for the quest?
the reason i ask is that i have sideloaded moonlight, and ALVR in order to stream PC VR games to play them as if it were a rift - but wirelessly, and i have also set up moonlight to stream normal pc games in theatre mode
with moonlight i can only play them locally as the xbox pad is paired with the pc - but if i can pair a gamepad with the quest then i can playthe games remotely
