Hey everyone! Chris from Infinity Watchfaces here. Our team is very excited about the Gear S3 - mine will actually arrive today and I can’t wait to try out the new Always On Display with our watch face designs.
We would like to share some of our top watch faces with the awesome amazing XDA community that has been here to help and support developers, world wide, for years. Senior members of XDA, hit us up for coupon codes! We also love to choose random people from Galaxy App reviews, social posts, responses to forums, and more - to send coupons for free watch face downloads.
As of yesterday, our top selling watch face is:
Night Crusader
Available in 12 & 24 hr versions. The glowing hands are mesmerizing to look at while the information remains crisp and clear; easy to read.
Check out this face on our website: Night Crusader on InfinityWatchfaces.com
King Chronos
Featured by Samsung right now, this face has dynamic shadows and carefully textured background/color changes. One of my personal favs.

Hey there! You're correct, we can only issue codes for Galaxy phones at this time. I'm putting in a ticket to see when this will change... Currently running around with an LG V20 and S7 Edge. The V20 Galaxy Apps plugin really needs updating to the new format. I'm sure they will change/fix this soon.
Update on Knight Blade: it is now in Test Confirmation at Samsung, so I'm hoping it hits by tonight or tomorrow morning!

Oops, replied from a different account I decided to never use. Hit this account up with a message and I can generate a code for you. Must have a Galaxy Phone (for now) and let me know what watch face and country your are in if not in profile.
Have Nexus 5X phone. Will have to wait until a non-Galaxy version is released. Thanks tho.
Guys-
These watch faces are sweet. Like a previous poster stated, I'm in the hole almost $20 in one day buying watch faces. Any promos are appreciated.
Thanks

would love to try one of these. pm sent!
Bought the 24 hour version of knight blade and left a review. Absolutely awesome. I asked in the review but its hard with limited review space. Would you consider an update or a version with the ability to tap in a zone and do color changes like red, orange ect. That would be icing on the cake lol.

Awesome. Glad you took the time to respond. I usually personally use the last 2 gray backgrounds before the black. I like those simply because its easier for me to see the time quicker otherwise there is too much going on. Certainly not a bad thing but just my style.

Here is another idea also. Another dev i liked Mike Wickens scraped this idea. I certainly wouldnt want to have someone steal his work but this one would have been amazing on the gear s3 frontier. its dark, simple and has an awesome look for the new watches with the hour numbers and bezel free type design if you want an rough idea with your design language and style.

similiar to the stock chronograph samsung face but darker background ect. He is one of my other favorites. Sometimes less can actually be more

Great feedback! Thank you very much! We love hearing about what folks think because it make future faces better and better.
Mike does awesome work and I'm a big fan! We are actually working on one with a similar feel to that example, but with our own twist of course. It can get difficult to cram all the goodies into one face sometimes without getting too busy. Some of our faces bask in busyness, but we will have some more that are scaled back a bit very soon. Yes, less can be so much more.

Hey there! Here is a quick rundown on instructions: First, install Gear Watch Designer on computer and open the GWD. Then turn bluetooth off on the watch and go to settings, gear info, and turn on debugging mode. Connect watch to same wifi network as computer. Now click the icon on the top right in the Gear Watch Designer that looks like a watch. Your Gear should show up on that list. Might have to click scan. After it shows up, create a distributer certificate from the "Project" menu. You will have to sign in with your Samsung account to create it for the watch. Then create an author certificate. After that is done, click Project and Build (make sure to type in your password for author certificate). It will generate a TPK file. After done building, click that small watch icon where it shows your connected watch, click on your gear in the list. It will ask if you want to build the "tpk" again, but if you just built it, click no. It will then push the tpk to the watch.
If you have any issues connecting your watch, you might need to restart it and the Gear Watch Designer. We make faces using both the Gear Watch Designer and the Tizen SDK depending on the face. Gear Watch Designer is great for realizing a design fairly quickly.

I am looking for people to help with the testing and creative development of a game I am working on.
I am REMAKING a game I had on the market last fall. Its still called ScanDroid, at least for now.
The theme of the game has changed, and there are a lot more features being worked on this time around.
I am making it from scratch this time, which is making for a faster process and cleaner code.
Here's the game in a nutshell:
RPG Fantasy Theme
Scan Barcodes to collect items, bonuses, and exp, and to battle NPCs
Battle NPC Barcodes
Battle Online(soon to be implemented)
Share QR code of character for others to battle locally(soon to be implemented)
Gain items, level up, and use an item shop
Anything other the creative testers can help me get an idea to add in.
It is a text based pocket scanner Pokemon style online barcode scanning game.
Everyone who i had try the last version of it loved it, but due to my limited ability at that time and the holidays the game eventually lost steam and fell apart. I have received a lot of feedback and am much more capable now of delivering a fuller more entertaining experience.
I need people who are COMMITTED to:
Test out each release, on a daily to bi-daily basis
Give good feedback that can be used to fix and improve the game
have ideas to help make it better
willing to use google plus messenger to join our beta huddle, and actively participate.
Please, reply to this with your google+ email address, or PM me.
I had about 40 ppl who wanted to beta test last time around, and all but 6 fell through on activiely participating.
I appreciate ANY help I can get.
Here is the Facebook Page Link. This will be the best way for you to let me know you want to be a tester/helper!!!!!!!!!
THANKS!
bump & reserve......
I'd like to test it for you, i'm an avid RPG fan and currently playing a lot of Galaxy on Fire 2

I'd like to be in the beta too. Seems interesting.
Also, a feature that uses GPS as "Zombies, RUN!" would be great (say, you go out from your home and scan codes in the supermarket for example, or battle random monsters after X meters from your "den", or collect items after walking X meters, and such).
The thing is, you should focus on the things that make "Zombies, Run!" awesome and try to replicate them.
I'm PMing you my google acc.

A Location Based Aspect could be interesting. We will definitely have to try and toy with it, see in what ways it can benefit the game.

Cracking Sands, a racing game was plan to exclusive for xperia play on tgs 2011.
Then, after over a year's delay,it finally released simultaneously to android and ios... forget the ridiculous exclusive, there's even no xpo at all!!
I just played it on iphone, yeah,it was a great game but i hate rubbing the ****ing screen or shake phone like a idiot! All devs' doing just piss me off!
if there's no xpo added i will never buy anything of this company any more...
So,i think all the fuxking stuff just indicates that from this year on,there's no xperia play optimized any longer,never...
anyway,here is the store link...
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.polarbit.crackingsands
Ah man. No xpo.??? That's it. I'm going to get their email address and email them a complaint. WTH. Oh and I will post their email address here. Lets fill their email inbox with our voices. This is one game I wanted since getting this phone 18 months ago
Whose with me???!?!?!?!?!?!!?
Email address:

EDIT: I have emailed them. Here is what I wrote:
Hello,
As a faithful Xperia PLAY user since its release in 2011. I remember the game Cracking Sands being one of the games I have been waiting patiently for 15-16 months only to find that its release is devoid of any Xperia PLAY support. I would like to respectfully request that you please consider releasing this game with full xperia play functionality as it was originally intended as a Xperia PLAY exclusive all those months ago. Please consider the many many users of this phone you have so abruptly disappointed.
Please consider releasing an Xperia PLAY optimized version that fully supports everything this phone has, gamepads, touchpads, triggers, game launcher.
Thank you for your time, and I am respectfully asking that you please release this game for our phone.
Sincerely,
Jesse

So I bought this and the game does use the dpad. But no game launcher support and I didn't see any touchpad support. So it's barely limited xperia play support

Yeah. The right trigger can be used to jump, x is for nitro, triangle is for shooting, dpads for movement. So it plays nice on our XPlays.
But I understand the other XDA members anger here. This was supposed to a Xplay exclusive & now is being released with limited Xplay optimization.

I wouldnt say I am mad, just that after all this time.... disappointed. Thats a good word.. disappointed. Been over 24 hours since I emailed them my request and not s ingle word back... but it is the weekend
Got a reply from my email to them:
"Xperia Play is supported for in-game controls.
Steering pad to steer
"Action buttons" to use weapons
R-trigger to jump
Menu button (under the steering buttons) to respawn kart
There is no support for Xperia buttons in menus however.
I don't think we've ever said this would be an Xperia Play exclusive title, but I could be wrong. It's been in development for a while. Please let me know where we gave this information and I will have a look into it.

Hmm..... maybe I'm uptight but unless it at least shows in the Xperia game launcher it doesnt feel truly optimized.....

This games was originaly listed as exclusive to the Xperia PLAY. I have purchased this game and it does sort of use the controls, I was hoping it would be fully supportive of our device, touchpads, triggers, Xperia PLAY game launcher. I realize this has been in developement for at least 18 months if not more, and I also am aware that the xperia play is an aging device. Guess when I saw that this game was released, over the Xperia play XDA forum, we were all hopefull it would support the devices gaming abilities fully. Anyways, thank you again for the reply and if there is ever any plans to update this game to fully support the phone I would be really excited to know. Thank you.

GOOD JOB man~! and take this http://thedroidguy.com/2011/06/exclusive-first-hands-on-with-cracking-sand/
This is the demo for xperia play exclusively on June 8, 2011 just like DMC4! How could they said those words?
Seems that our XP has been totally forgotten,i don't expect about the fully optimized by now. The only thing i hope is that when they could shut down the G-Sensor steering. it seriously affected the handing when using the dpad.

Got another reply, oddly it came from this Tommy guys email address rathen then Polarbit:
"Hey Jesse,
I think those articles stem from a little misunderstanding on SE's part. Exclusives are a very bad fit to our philosophy, which is fairly multiplatform-centric.
We do feel that supporting the in-game controls of the Xperia is important, since that adds significantly to the experience. Menus and stuff, not so much. A lot of work to adapt, and in the end usually works better with touch anyway.
Will forward the request to add Xperia Play launcher support to the devs for consideration.
Cheers,
Tommy

My reply to that email.................
"Hello Tommy,
Thank you again ffor replying. I appreciate your prompt replies. Also, in regards to the exclusive part, I dont know why if it was never meant to be portayed as an exclusive, why ther would be so many websites claiming back in the summer of 2011 that it was exclusive.

Dang this guy is fast at resplying, took like 20 minutes:
"I think SE demo:ed it at E3 2011 as an exclusive, due to a misunderstanding on their part. All the info I can find reference this same occassion. Regrettable, and possibly something that should have been addressed at the time. Chanses are these articles would remain, however, without any reference to corrections.
Hope you'll be able to enjoy the game nonetheless.
Cheers,
Tommy

Not that there isnt a time to be demanding, or a bit more blunt. But I felt in regards to this situation and the fact Tommy really was excellent at replaying to my emails (within minutes, literally) and given the situation with how our phone is aging... I felt that being a jerk or coming across as unappreciative of his time and the situation with the game... basically being nice and appreciative felt like it could help us get the full xperia play optimization we would love to have, rather then its current version. But again, even if it never does get updated I would be disappointed but I would also understand from their point of view if its worth updating for our phone and its upcomg two year birthday.
Here's to crossing our fingers and hoping for good news soon. Also, side note... Polarbit was the best custoemr service experience I have had from a developer.....

No unfortunately it does not. They didn't do anything g to update the play part. They just added the name to the changelog where before it wasn't listed. Then again its only been 36 hours since I got my last response from polarbit. So in sure if they update it could be a bit.

Hi Everyone
I am new both to Xda developers, android, and developing in general in fact I only learned how to program 1 year ago. And so I would greatly appreciate it if you could give me and criticisms, suggestions or pointers! Here's the link to my game on the app store (it's a simple game):

EDIT:
Hi Everyone!
Thanks for trying my app. I have just updated it with more features, but I'm not sure whether these features are good or if they should actually be removed so I was wondering if you guys could play it and tell me your opinions on it! Thanks
1) Coins - So now there are coins that you can collect to buy skins of the bricks, I'm thinking of expanding this further by allowing the player to buy power-ups but we'll see.
2) Ads - Yeah so even though I get so few impressions/installs I do like implementing ads since it feel like I'm actually making a product. Anyways, I recently decided to switch from using admob with mediation of Leadbolt and decided to try Appodeal. Though I'm not sure how good this is. Not in terms of money of course but rather about the user experience. If you can let me know if there are any ads that are "****ty." (That's like the only word I could think of).
3) Difficulty - So yeah, I know some of you have said that it's already really difficult so I was just wondering if adding the coins to collect make it too difficult.
Things I've noted but have been too lazy to implement:
- Help dialog (yeah, it's very archaic and non informative)
- Some of the coloring (I personally think it looks ugly, but I don't know what colors to use)
- More mechanics/levels
So yeah long post but if anyone could help me by playing my app either again or for the first time, I'll be really thankful!
Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated!!!
All good, but screen often blink.

Hey. Just tried your game. Really like the clean graphics and one touch gameplay. Gets hard very fast! I don't mind but might scare some people off. Maybe you could make the balls go a little slower to begin with and then gradually increase speed. Just a sugestion
Great job! (will post review on Play)
Awesome app name [emoji12]
Indeed it's an interesing concept, I like it.
I don't have a lot of twitter followers, only around 200 or so, but I will tweet about your game if you want. Any particular message, hastags and link you would like me to use 1DEA?

Thanks for the review! Hmm so unless you are playing a really early version of my app (like the one I submitted to aptoide, I never bothered to update that since the interface is so clunky), one "spoiler" about the mechanics about the game is that all the balls take the same time to drop whether it's just one ball and brick, or many balls and bricks. The thing that actually changes is the intro delay, aka how long does it take from the starting animation for the ball to actually drop. You think that it would be better if instead I kept that delay constant and changed the speed from slow to fast, or do you think a mixture of the two would be more fun and enjoyable?

Haha anything would be amazing! But I have something to confess...I don't use twitter . And honestly it confuses me the whole deal with hashtags and stuff . But I guess something along the lines of challenging or difficult would be good lol. Thanks for taking the time to play my game!
Sure thing, we indie devs have to stick togheter, don't we?
Here is how I made your tweet look:

No worries. Oh that's cool, I didn't consider the intro delay, that's fine then I think to keep the speed constant. And I got a bit further when I played some more so I guess I just needed som practice. You got me when the whole thing started rotating though! That stuff really screws with your brain! I would maybe have eased that in a bit, starting with one brick/ball that's rotating, if I were you, to let the players get a feel for the new mechanic.

Hmmm I see cool thanks! I actually have more "levels" (I think they would be called levels lol) in mind and will implement them in the future! I will definitely add a rotating level for the early stages in order to get players more used to it at later stages.
Looks interesting, tried it out and it definitely is challenging. Good job on the app!

It's good and challenging, responding to your previous post, one thing I noticed is that maybe it gets a little too difficult, too fast. I find that the rotation of the bricks happens too quickly, maybe wait a bit longer before you introduce the rotation part, and probably slow it down just a little bit. Otherwise I think the game establishes a good challenge and is entertaining

Hmmm ok, I will adjust both the speed of the rotation and the difficulty progression of the game. Thanks for your input!
Hi, I've been with XDA for a long time, but new Gear Watch Designer got me interested to compile some old watch faces that I had for my Gear 2 Neo and put them together for Gear S2. Still newbie and trying to keep it simple but I want you to take a look and comment and request.
If you want to buy any of these please visit Samsung Galaxy Apps store (still cannot find out the easy way to give the direct link)
The names of the watchfaces are: U-BOARD, Swissstar, Rossi Architect Green, Exospace, Rossi Architect, U-Board UFO, Chronard Miglia, Pilot. And there's more on my page.
Thanks!
Nice job

Nice work. Is the heart rate feature of your Architect face interactive? Also, how has your experience getting your watch faces onto the Gear store been? I'm considering making some myself.

Thanks, sorry for replying late. Heart rate is ineractive in a way that Gear Watch designer permits - it shows measurement, but I don't know if it's interactive to click on it and start a service. Uploading to Store is easy and straight forward, I have 23 watchfaces over there in a span of 4 months - got sales around 300$. About 65% of that is mine, the rest are fees. Just got my first money from Samsung yesterday.
Hi,
I have published a watchface for Gear S2/S3 which has 18+ content. It has been approved by Samsung approval team for ages 18 and over. But Samsung is trying to hide it for some reason I don't know.
If you are interested, please search with name "50 Shades Amsterdam"
I believe this is the ONLY watchface officially published by Samsung which has this kind of content and I believe they won't let me update it in case I have to fix something.
I'm sorry that I can't provide any screenshots here because of the content.

Pretty cool. AOD idea...use one of the ladies as a silhouette in the middle and her arms as the clock hands? hehehe. :good:
I'd appreciate more feedback on this watchface.
Samsung might be removing this watchface from the store soon, because they asked me to review it. funny...

Yes, nice watch face, thanks!
