Hi! My phone and its battery was working fine until yesterday when it showed it was charging slowly and I need to use original charger. I use original charger for my phone, I tried different places to see if it was current problem but nothing changed. I have factory reset the phone so he charging(USB) would change to AC but it didn't help. Plz help

I got a galaxy note 10.1 this past January(purchased new in box). It has been working fine up until today. When its plugged in now, it shows the indicator that its plugged in/charging... but the battery drains.
I tried cleaning the USB port with a brush & even used a q-tip with a dash of alcohol(no luck). I then decided to do a factory reset & wiped the cache. Afterwards, it started charging properly again. At least, it did once... now its not charging again.
So to clarify, it was purchased brand new less then 3 months ago & am using the included(stock) charger. Tablet is not rooted either.
Anyone know how to fix this?
Are you also using the supplied cable? I have found some third-party cables only allow a very slow charge even with stock charger. As the cable can make a difference, it may be you just have a fault with the cable.
There are several reason that causing charging problem:
Broken Cable
Broken Charger
Wattage usage is larger than wattage charging
Broken charging port
Broken battery (rare)
Check which one is your problem
Use Battery Monitor Widget to monitor Wattage / Amperage.
Usually correct Amperage is around 1000 - 1600 mAh (factory Cable+charger)
It depends on usage.
I'm using both the cable and wall adapter/charger that came with the Note.
I did notice that the wall adapter that came with my Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is also 2A 5W so I give it a try for the heck of it. Still no luck.
I could disassemble the Note no problem, would just suck if I had to buy a new battery as they're $70.

My note 10.1 shows that it's charging when the charger is plugged in but it isn't charging at all. Stays on zero percent so it is impossible to keep it on. I've tried charging with it on and off, have done a factory reset, battery and usb port have been changed different chargers and leads have been used but problem still persists. Please advise me on how to fix this issue.

I have been using for some time a S5 charger to charge my S6 phone and today, I found my S6 charger (quick charge) and while the S6 was charging I disconnected it briefly from the outlet and changed the old one with the S6 charger.
It gave me an error and the phone started vibrating after a while and then turned off, I didn't know what happened so I turned it on back again and it had 50% of the battery and I used the phone normally until now, only problem is, the phone won't charge anymore.
I did a factory reset just in case and a backup of all my data. So, you guys got any ideas on what the problem could be?
O have similar problem, the phone doesn't charge. Charging paused. Battery temperature is too low.
Any suggestions?
I want to ask why did you even bother charging with a S5 charger? Everyone that have S6 know that it is bad to use not original S6 charger and cable because it makes problems.
Is it charging through an USB port on computer?
I think the port doesn't work anymore because I am actually charging the phone wireless and it works.

I am using Galaxy note edge SM - 915G
Its fast charging is not working properly when i connect it to power socket with fast charger, its just keep connecting and disconnecting.
I have confirmed, Fast charger option is ticked under battery setting.
I also tried replacing with new charger and with new battery had no luck.
But if i use normal charger it charges well and doesn't connect disconnect.
I tried formating my device it also didn't help.
Can anyone please guide me what could be the problem or how to get it fixed normal charge takes hell lot of time.

I am facing a very annoying problem, My galaxy note edge has stopped charging. When I plug in the charger it doesn't do anything and stays ideal.
(When I am lucky out of 100 attempts, it takes charging only 1 or 2 times)
When I plug in my mobile with usb cable into my MacBook it takes charging flawlessly but very slow charge.
When i turn off my phone completely and try charging it using an adaptor with cable, the screen lights up with the battery icon and then itturn off again. I can feel vibration near the home button right above the charging port but it doesn't charge at all.
The original charger which came with this phone is already dead So currently, I am using original galaxy S5 adapter(no-fast charging) with brand new amazon basic cable which is working fine with all other phones.
I have an original Motorola turbocharger which is working fine with my friend's galaxy note edge but not with mine ( it worked only 2 days but now it has stopped working)
tried with various other cords and adapters with different locations but nothing really helped.
I tried formatting my phone under settings but it also didn't help and the problem is still there.
Any expert out there who can help me? It is out from warranty and doesn't wanna go to the service center as they are asking for unrealistic prices, which I can't bear.
Any kind of help or information would be highly appreciated.
P.S : Borrowed my friend's original note edge charger to test it out. It is tking charge but when i plug in it shows usb file transfer not doing fast charge acting like a usb connection through a computer.
