I am trying to move all app data from LG G2 to G3. I backed up what I wanted to google drive but its not syncing to the new device. When I select Sync to Google Drive in Titanium, it syncs that devices info and removes the originals from the Drive.
Advice?

I was just wondering if I backed up my contacts to my sim card, they can't be harmed when I upgrade my captivate to 2.2 right?
sorry if this is a stupid question or if someone asked it already
do a google backup (you need a google account) it will sync your contacts. Or a 3rd party software, like mybackup pro..
Right. Export them to a file on sdcard. and keep a copy on desktop in case your sdcard fails.
how exactly do you back it up to google?
you go to the sync menu in the options and you setup your google account... then click sync contacts.
It works fine with me xD
So I sync'd with my google account and it imported all my contacts, the only problem now is that I do not want my google account sync'd however if I delete it, it will delete all of my contacts with it off the phone. Is there a way I can transfer all google contacts currently in my phone contacts to sim without third party app?
I'm assuming that when you say you don't want you're google account synced you mean your mail right? Because you do want your google contacts? If this is indeed what you want, settings> accounts & sync> your google account> uncheck everything besides contacts. If that's not what you want, can you try explaining in another way so I can help.
Hello, I do not want my google account sync' anymore even though I have already disabled mail and everything else to be sync'd I do not want my google account associated with this phone. however I have no choice because whenever I try to delete the google account off my phone its says all of the contacts will erase with it too. I have been trying to find how to copy all of my google contacts to the sim but no apps have been working
Phone>menu> people> menu> export to sd card. Once exported, go through the same steps but instead choose import to from sd card and choose phone as the location. You may now not sync google account while keeping your contacts. Keep i'm mind that new contacts will be erased if you do a factory reset as google us not syncing and backing then up anymore.
Something that has been bugging me is the way Facebook and Google don't play nicely when it comes to contact syncing.
In the past it wasn't really a big issue as I only used one device and everything just sync'd in the background, now as I prefer to manage all of my contacts via the gmail contacts page, rather than via my phone I set about trying to figure out how I could get both Gmail and Facebook contacts to sync to my Google account.
I tried a few of the tools available, such as ubersync, contacts+ and haxsync, these all do a great job of mixing your Facebook contacts in with your gmail contacts on your device, but they are still treated as seperate when syncing back up to gmail.
I found a way to get around this by using Google's sync along with haxsync and a bit of dirty ol manipulation, and I thought I'd share it if others are wanting to do the same. I take no responsibility if you mess things up, so if you are not confident then make sure you make backups before you start.
Also before you start just realise you will loose any group sorting you may have done but this can be edited again via the gmail contacts pagee quite easily)
First of all, sync all the gmail contacts into your android device from google.
Install Haxsync from the Google Play store (contacts+ and ubersync may give the same results)
Goto advanced settings for haxsync and set things up the way you want (I selected to have the htcdata backup entry put into the notes field, but this is optional)
now sync with haxsync to get all the facebook details and wait for the haxsync to finish.
Now you have all the data into your device if you look at an entry you might see some of the users data is listed under the google account, and other parts are listed under the haxsync account. From here on only the google data will sync back up to google.
Now to perform some manipulation
Go to settings on your android device(s) and disable syncing for both Google and haxsync. (note I said device(s) this means disable sync on all other device you might have that also sync to Google)
Go into People on your main Android device and export your contacts to storage, this will make a vcf file on the Android device containing all of the data for each person (minus the account it's associated with)
On the android device(s) go to settings - applications - contacts storage and clear data- (remember to do this for all android device syncing to google)
load gmail in your web browser on your PC, go to contacts, select them all and delete them.
Now go back into People on the Android device and import the data you saved to your storage.
You will now see you have merged the data that was previously seperated by the gmail and haxsync accounts
Go back into settings on the Android device and re-enable sync for gmail.
Wait for this to finish.
once your device has synced with Google again go into gmail and select contacts
On the left of the page look under 'other contacts' select all of them and choose add to My Contacts.
Now go up to My Contacts and you can start sorting everyone into different groups again if you wish.
Now you have synced both gmail and Facebook information into your gmail account which will flow down to any other Android devices you have.
If you add more people on Facebook and want their data in gmail, you'd have to repeat this process again.
If you decide to re-enable Haxsync again you may need to manually join some of your contacts in your phone again, such as where friends also have Google+ and Facebook accounts under different names.
It's not perfect but if you have 100's of contacts / friends it saves a lot of manual data entry saving everything into gmail.
Good luck and have fun.
Good Evening All,
I have recently moved from Android (Galaxy S3) to Windows 8.1 (Lumia 1020).
On my Android, I had an app set up to sync certain folders with my cloud account
Is there a Windows 8.1 alternative, that can do the same?
I have only found threads to sync windows mobile and windows PC, not with a cloud
Thanks in advance
Regards
Mohammede
If you have Dropbox you can try Cloudsix for Dropbox. it's free.
Being that you came from S3 you are probably on the Google ecosystem. In that cae try Cloud Manager it is (1.99 US)
It is suppose to work with multiple cloud storage sites.
app called - google drive on WP
I use this as I have a google drive account to sync device and computer folders.
Also there is cloud file explorer it will work with a wide list of cloud storage services.

Hey QNC,
Thanks for the reply.
I'll have a look at Cloud Manager later on
What I meant is on my S3, I use foldersync to sync certain folders (eg, Folders "2154", "2157" and 2190" on my Ext SD) with my Box cloud.
I choose certain folders to be synced at certain times of the day, I cannot see that option on Cloudsix for Dropbox.
Are there any other apps for Windows Phone 8.1 that can do the same?
Thanks in advance

Understood, I used folder sync as well with my google drive storage. It was a very handy application.
I have not found one on windows phone that will do the same thing yet.
I have had to use the G drive app and manually sync.
Hello..
Is the cloud sync in titanium backup a two way sync. If I have a schedule to delete all backups for uninstalled apps from my phone, when I sync to the cloud, will these files from the cloud get deleted?
I have (pro version 7.5.2 — latest one). Thanks.
