Finally got around to fixing the screen on my LG Lancet with Verizon (stock OS Lollipop), and it already had a factory reset on it so I figured I would try to root it again. I had success and started doing what I normally do; getting rid of system apps. One of these was the Setup Wizard.
Started getting notices on screen that setup wizard (and other apps I uninstalled) had failed. This made the phone unusable. So I did another factory reset thinking I would just root again without uninstalling system apps this time.
Now I am at setup screen and right as I am about done going through it ( email, language, wifi, etc) it fails and sends me back to beginning.
So now I either need help to get past the setup wizard, or to out the original OS on with all the system apps o it won't put me in this loop again.
Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

Greetings and welcome to assist. Unfortunately factory resetting will not bring back the missing apps, you may need to reinstall your original firmware. If you ask your question here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help
the experts there may be able to help you
Good Luck

I wiped my Internal Storage through TWRP because my laptop can't detect my One M8 and I thought wiping the internal storage would fix the problem. I have tried wiping Dalvik Cache, Data and Cache and none of it helps thus without reason I wiped the internal storage.
When I reboot, my lock screen doesn't show up so does my status bar (cant even slide down to show notification), and also my on screen buttons. I tried to re-flash the ROM, idk what else I should re-flash but it didn't solve the problem. And still my laptop cannot detect my One M8. Also there is no TWRP backup to restore my phone back to Sense 6 ROM. (maybe the wipe deleted the backup, idk, it was there before).
Someone help me, I don't think any mobile shops in my country can fix this problem. There is no one to help me here. I can't even sell the phone because no one would want to buy an already damaged phone. SO please I beg for your help. Anyone I would be grateful for your reply. Should you require any information to solve this problem I would do my best to provide you with it. Thanks in advance.
Hi,
Need to know which M8 carrier version you have to point you towards help.
Also, try reinstalling HTC sync on your PC to restore drivers. If your computer won't see your device, you are not going to have much luck.

I will try that. How can I fix the lock screen, status bar and the onscreen navigation buttons not showing up? also google now launcher background is all black even when i change the wallpaper. A few days ago after I wiped the internal storage a "system.android has stopped" showed up which caused these problems. I did a reflash of the ROM and still the problem exists.
You need to tell me your carrier version, so I can point you towards help.
XDA Assist is here to help navigate the site, not for support. ?

Hi , thank you for using XDA assist.
Looks like there is no forum specifically for your device. But you may try to post your question here http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help to get the required help from the expert.
Good luck.
Hi,
My Galaxy S7 edge has been rebooted automatically. So I installed the last update suggested in my settings (that I was ignoring for almost 2 weeks). Now I'm not able to use many feathers, as the left touch button that shows opened apps, and I can't recieve notifications even if I hear the sound of it. Also, my personal settings has been reset.
Is there any way to fix that without flashing it or applying Factory Data Reset since I have plenty of apps and accounts that I want to keep.
Thank you!

Hello,
There is no other way.
You need to re-flash stock firmware but that will wipe your data.

THANK YOU!:good:
SM-G900V (PB1) KLTE, Samsung eMMC (CID 15)
When I first was able to install Lineage everything seem to work fine. But when I woke up the next morning I had a notification saying SIM card not found. So I went to go to cellular networks to check the APN and when I clicked it I recieved an error com.android.phone error. Would you like to restart or mute. Neither option worked. So I reflashed the os and still had the same issue. With TWRP I reformatted and wiped all data and tried for a fresh install. Nothing worked. Was wondering if anyone knows of anything. If you took the time to read this I thank you for your interest.

Greetings and welcome to assist. This sounds like a rom specific bug, have you tried grabbing a log and posting it in the rom thread ?

Thank you for replying. I seem to have fixed the issue. So I flashed the phone back to factory and rerooted and reflashed rom and it seemed to fix the issue. Not sure I understand how. This time I did wait for a little bit after rom booted and it seemed to eventually work.

Hey all
This my first time in here and I don't have plenty of experience when it comes to android so please be patient
I have a chinesse iconix tablet that has been giving me hard time. it installs apps without confirmation (I believe these apps are trojans), I tried installing firewalls and antiviruses (kaspersky and bitdefender) but nothing changed, finally I installed a trojan killer and it found the trojans but once I gave it the order to clean them, it got stuck so I rebooted my tablet and unlickily now it's dead, when I try to turn it on, it gets stuck on the logo, I tried wiping the cache and restoring factory settings but nothing worked so now I'm stuck
Anyone can help please and be patient to explain in details (like a dummy's guide)
Thanks all
did you solve the problem because I have the same

First, those trojans probably came from some other app that you installed and that app is what installed the trojans. It is common when dealing with Chinese software.
Second, you will have to flash your stock firmware to solve this.
Do a Google search for:
"Return to stock (your specific model number)"
If it is available, that will find your stock firmware, the instructions to flash it and the tools to flash it.
If it isn't available, you are probably out of luck.
