Hi , thank you for using XDA assist.
Looks like there is no forum specifically for your device. But you may try to post your question here http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help to get the required help from the expert.
Good luck.

[Q] Samsung Galaxy Ace( S5830): How to remove super user?

Hi everyone,
I rooted my Samsung ace using Superoneclick 1.9.1. However, when I unrooted it, the Superuser Icon is not going away. Could anyone please help me with it.
I need to take my phone to service center due to some hardware issues. And if i am not mistaken a rooted phone does not have warranty!!
Urgent advice guys...please...
Thanks
First i would switch off the phone, switch off again and try the unrooted process again.
If it doesn't work, maybe try to update the superuser app with the market and retry...
At the end, you can even try a factory reset from the settings menu. Don't forget to save all your datak before.
Good luck!

Hard Reset doesn't work/deleted apps are restored after reboot

Hello everyone,
I just joined this forum and i need some help.
I've got a very wierd problem with my samsung galaxy tab 2 7.0
Tablet: Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 GT-P3110 model.
Android: ver. 4.1.2
So the story behind my tablet is that my dad bought it when he working in another country, when he came back he told me that he had a broken galaxy tab 2 and he asked me to try to fix it,the problem he reported was that the tablet sometimes restarts, alot of programs have crashes and the wierdest thing is that, when I turn it off and then turn on the device (or simply restart it) the system is restored to some earlier state, this includes:
1. Apps I've deleted are still installed.
2. Widgets or app shortcuts on 'home' pages are still on their old place though I've rearranged them.
3. Same with wallpapers.
4. Same with settings.
So i tried the following:
1. Factory reset + cache clean. Even though it is supposed to be a full system wipe, it doesn't work.
2. Reinstalling a Stock ROM via ODIN. Doesn't work either and it takes about an hour to do...it says it was successful but it doesn't change anything in the tablet.
Also there is a notice in android recovery, which states:
did not match sized '/system/csc/common/system/csc/feature.xml' (no data available)
This device wasn't rooted.
So i you would ask you guys for some help, thanks.

My line of thought is that if you do root it, you can format the system partition which would more than likely fix this issue. But like I said, more than likely, there's no guarantee because it might be a hardware issue. Have you considered sending it in for repair? Since it's not rooted they would do it. If you don't care to send it in and are just trying stuff to see if you can get it working again, then rooting it wouldn't hurt anything. But that's your choice.

OK, so here's where just rooting won't help. You have two options: 1) Find the stock ROM at Samsung and have it on your SD card. Or 2) choose another ROM. Whichever you choose is up to you. You're going to have to format your system in the custom recovery, by doing this your tab is wiped of all info including the stock ROM. If you format system you won't be able to boot into your tab without flashing another ROM after. If I'm repeating stuff you know, I apologize. You'll need the ROM you choose on your external sd card, because you'll want to completely format everything (except your ext sd). If you know all this, try it out and see if it helps. If you want to learn more and the steps, PM me, I'll help as much as I can!

Hi, i'm facing the same issue here. Then I've try to root the phone but failed. Can help me too Sir?
For now it can't repaired, It,s known as emmc brickbug, find the xda forum thru Playstore emmc brickbug check. In Indonesia there is website that claim can repair it by replacing the emmc chip/internal memory, but it's not proven yet, since no body in our Galaxy Tab 2 facebook group has confirmed it. More than 15 people in the group has reported this bug, and the only way to fix it is by replacing the mainboard in Samsung Service Center. I also have replaced my wife Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 mainboard with the same case. In Indonesia the cost is about US$100

[Completed] Verizon LG Lancet Android Setup Wizard Loop

Finally got around to fixing the screen on my LG Lancet with Verizon (stock OS Lollipop), and it already had a factory reset on it so I figured I would try to root it again. I had success and started doing what I normally do; getting rid of system apps. One of these was the Setup Wizard.
Started getting notices on screen that setup wizard (and other apps I uninstalled) had failed. This made the phone unusable. So I did another factory reset thinking I would just root again without uninstalling system apps this time.
Now I am at setup screen and right as I am about done going through it ( email, language, wifi, etc) it fails and sends me back to beginning.
So now I either need help to get past the setup wizard, or to out the original OS on with all the system apps o it won't put me in this loop again.
Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

Greetings and welcome to assist. Unfortunately factory resetting will not bring back the missing apps, you may need to reinstall your original firmware. If you ask your question here

the experts there may be able to help you

[Completed] Galaxy S7 edge reboot issue & bugs

Hi,
My Galaxy S7 edge has been rebooted automatically. So I installed the last update suggested in my settings (that I was ignoring for almost 2 weeks). Now I'm not able to use many feathers, as the left touch button that shows opened apps, and I can't recieve notifications even if I hear the sound of it. Also, my personal settings has been reset.
Is there any way to fix that without flashing it or applying Factory Data Reset since I have plenty of apps and accounts that I want to keep.
Thank you!

Hello,
There is no other way.
You need to re-flash stock firmware but that will wipe your data.

[Completed] The Home Screen is completely black.

So, I root my Lg Tribute 2 with Kingroot, then use my root privileges to delete a system app called "TextNow". I know it's usually not a good idea to delete system apps, but I figured since TextNow is just a messaging app and I have had 4 completely successful attempts at deleting the system app TextNow with a rooted Lg Tribute 1, I thought it wouldn't be different. Well, after I do so, I power off the device (I had to power it off a lot, since Kingroot made it extremely slow, I would had preferred to root it using Kingoroot, but it couldn't do it.) and I find out my home screen is completely black, no apps or anything working, I can swipe my tab down and go to settings via that, but that's basically all I can do, hopefully the fact that my settings are available might help me. Anyway, help on this would be GREATLY appreciated, thanks.
