Ok well, I got my replacement Moto G and everything was working ok on 4.3. Then I decided to manually flash Kitkat through adb after unlocking the boot-loader, and now I'm getting no service at all. lol. Um, yea So I have flashed the same firmware on the original Moto G that I had and had no problems flashing it. I don't know why I'm not getting any service on this one? I forgot to mention that I twent back to 4.3 through adb seeing that might of helped and did the kitkat upgrade after, and nada!
Baseband Version: MSM8626BP_1032.340.63.00b
System Version: 172.44.4.falcon_umts.Retail.en.US
Build number: KXB20.9-1.8-1.4
Under status I'm getting Unknown Network, Mobile Network type Unknown, Service State: Radio off, Mobile network state, disconnected, Bluetooth address unavailable. That is what is missing under those sections. I'm assuming it has something to do with the radio/modem. If anyone has one they can let me flash for the Retail US version, I would highly appreciated. :good: Thank you for your help!
maybe a solution

Same issue as OP Help.
I am having the same issue as the OP. I tried to install modem 2 before 1 the way OP stated. But I still cant get any service on my phone. I also have the 1034 version of the device suited for T-Mobile. I tried to flash the stock radio as well but Im not getting any service. If someone knows what the issue is please help.
By the way my wifi is working just fine. Its the network I cant connect to. I tried my sim card and it work in another phone.
Thank you for any help.
I'm also having the same problem. I have a US global model XT-1032 Moto G. No matter what the heck I try to do the radio always stays off on the phone. It worked fine prior to the 4.4.2 OTA update.
I've tried flashing just the modem from the 4.4.2 and 4.3 US firmwares for both the XT-1032 and XT-1034 versions and neither of them work, it always shows the network as unknown and the radio being turned off.
I have even tried erasing the modemst2 then modemst1 in that order and then flashing the modem with the non-hlos.bin file hoping that if I did it in reverse to the normal order it would fix the issue.
The sad thing is that since I unlocked the damn bootloader to do this, now I can't get any kind of warranty repair done on it by Motorola.

I wanted to report that I fixed my problem with my moto-G, it turned out to be a XT-1034 instead of a XT-1032. I posted a blog post with a link for downloading the file that I used to fix the problem. Basically what I had to do was flash the 4.4.2 modem for a Retail GB model moto-G. This fixed the problem. here is the link http://doctorevil30564.blogspot.com/2014/06/how-to-fix-motorola-moto-g-xt-1034-that.html
UPDATE: the Retail US 4.4.3 factory image from here Blur_Version.210.12.32.falcon_umts.AWSRetail.en.US fixed the radio on my XT-1034 so no need to use the previous method if you are having the same issue, just try flashing that version on your XT-1034

After I used the guide to restore the stock/factory firmware to my Moto G xt1032 i could not get any service on my phone. The phone cannot connect to my mobile network. In the settings it says:
Network; Unknown
Signal Strength; 0dBm 99 asu
Mobile network type; Unknown
Service state; Radio off
Roaming; Not Roaming
Mobile network state; Disconnected
I am pretty sure that I installed the right firmware so what should I do?

If anyone can help or suggest of maybe give me there APN setting I would appreciate it. I don't see what I'm doing wrong everything is good. Also I did try and search and search for a answer but all I can find is the question being asked but never a answer. Thanks a lot.

Your SIM should have automatically put in your APN settings. Send me a screenshot of your Mobile Network screen in Settings.
Phone won't let me upload. But if you can give your input on APN it would be great. I know mine are right I have fast T-Mobile and also epc T-Mobile. . if you let me know how to upload the pics I'll be more than happy to. Thanks. I don't understand. 2 gworks. But 4g 3g h,,+ only works when I'm litteraly on the phone. Best way to say it is to make a call and answer the line put phone in munte and use the net. Just strange.

Sorry if this is wrong place to post this question I was unable to in your thread [RECOVERY] [5.1.1] TWRP for Mediapad X2 **UPDATE 12/5/15**.
I have 702L with B006. When I run "fastboot flash recovery twrp_cn.img" from the cmnd prompt I opened in the folder located on desktop with twrp I get an error message 'fastboot' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. The twrp file is named twrp-eng-5.1.1 I tried "fastboot flash recovery twrp-eng-5.1.1.img" and receive the same message. Any help would be appreciated. I have been trying since you answered my first questions. I am a novice I have successfully rooted several phones in the past by following the XDA instructions.
Forgot to mention I did unlock bootloader or at least I think I did. Fastboot screen shows phone unlocked now.

Do you have the Andoid Tools in the same folder as the TWRP File? Download this and extract it to your desktop and put the TWRP file in with the extracted folder then it should work.

Hold in volume down and power when the phone is plugged into the computer to get into fastboot, then you can do a fastboot oem unlock xxxxxxxxxxxxxx. Then boot into fastboot again and flash TWRP. Download the first TWRP if your're already on Android 5.1.1. If not you need do download the one for Android 5.0 from the 2nd link. I think you said you were on B006 so you need to use the TWRP for Android 5.0. When you get to B106 then flash and use the TWRP for 5.1.1.

I updated my apn settings again per tmobile website. I am able to make calls and can use internet only when on a phone call. if you know of any other options I would really appreciate it.

I have tmobile with data plan. I am using my note 4 at this time without a problem. I have tried several family members sim cards and went to tmobile to get a new sim card. Only get Internet if I am on a call. It's really weird. I would think it is some setting.
Hi ajsmsg78, I gave up on device for awhile and started messing with it again. After doing a factory reset I have all the preferred network connections you have. The only one that allows me to get internet when I am not on a phone call is GSM which only gives me 2g. I tried WCDMA and internet will not work. Would flashing a different rom possibly help?
I am getting my Sony "U.S" Version just because of its warranty, is there a way i can Enable the fingerprint. Please help
currently all you could do is flash the International firmware. I haven't really looked into anything though personally. I'm not sure how they disabled it, maybe changing a 0 to 1 somewhere but I doubt it.
Yes I got the US version from Amazon and just flashed the CE1 firmware and fingerprint works after flashing that firmware

Buy it from the UK. Same warranty. No need to flash anything. Save about $100.00

It doesn't have US warranty, probably you have to send it back to UK. Personally I don't care about warranties, never had to use for any of my many phones until now partly because don't keep the phone that long. The other advantage buying from Amazon US is ease of return in case you don't like the phone. If you played with it before and 100% sure you like the phone and will definitely keeping it, then yeah better to buy from clove and save the extra $150 or change.

Can you post a simple guide to do this with some links on where to get all the tools firmware, flashy oil etc... Also I think there are some alternatives for the firmware such as the US and European version any differences between them?

I used the newflasher tool in the below link. Personally this is my first Xperia device in a long time and haven't used the Xperia flashing tools before.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3619426
1. Make sure you have the right drivers installed. I installed Xperia companion tool since someone mentioned that should install all the drivers. I also installed the flash tool and fastboot drivers from Xperia flash tool since I had issues putting my phone in flash mode. If you are using Windows 10 you have disable verify driver signing in boot before installing the flash tool drivers.
2. Download the firmware of your choice, I chose CE1 (Central Europe) firmware over other Asian firmware.
3. Then follow the instructions in the thread to flash.
Main issue I had was putting my phone in flash mode. But apparently flash mode doesn't have any screen like recovery etc. You just have to turn off your phone then while holding the volume button down connect your phone via USB. That should put in flash mode even though you don't get any screen to say it's in flash mode.
Once I put in flash mode everything went fine by following instructions in the thread.
Thanks,
So when you downloaded the files with XperiFirm and used NewFlasher did you delete any of the files or just drop newflasher into the created directory and flashed everything.

Just dropped all newflasher files into the created firmware directory and just ran the newflasher application from that directory. It flashed everything in there.
I know the thread says if you want you can remove specific things from the firmware directory if you don't want to flash certain things. But I didn't see any reason to do that and I never care about wiping my device since all my info is backed up in the cloud and takes around 30 minutes to restore and be up and running again. Just to be safe I flashed everything so that it doesn't screw up anything. I haven't used the Xperia flash tools before so kept it simple.

Does Google Assistant work for you on the CE1 firmware? It's not popping up for me at all.

Also curious about volte, I bought mine from Best Buy yesterday and it doesn't have Volte on T-Mobile in the us. I'm hoping flashing the CE firmware enables it.

Hmmm, that's weird. My understanding was that it was enabled on the US version but not on the international. Are you sure you don't have it?

I'm pretty sure it's the US model because the fingerprint sensor is disable.
there is no VOLTE on this phone, no menu options for advanced calling like wifi calling either.

Must be an Branding/Software issue i guess.
On the unbranded EU version, both is available.
wifi calling: Settings -> Wireless&Networks -> Wi-Fi Calling
VoLTE: Settings -> Wireless&Networks -> Mobile Networks -> Enable VoLTE

Are you sure it has nothing to do with your service provider?
I bought mine from the UK (not sure if it is the same as the unbranded EU version you mention) and when I look for those same settings they do not exist.
I am in the US running on AT&T as an unlocked go phone customer.

Could be that the settings are not available unless your carrier/plan supports them. Pretty sure anyone slipping a T Mobile sim in has those services.
device: droid mini xt1030
what ive tried: clean install (wiped cache, data, system etc)
method of flashing: first flashed cm13 unofficial obake via twrp 2.8.4.0(clean) then gapps and reboot.
problem: everything works and rom is smooth, nightly dated sep 22 2017,but all nightlies have same problem. no sim signals, phone info says radio off wont turn on via *#*#4636#*#*. installed many times over, rsd lite-d to stock then tried again, same issue.

Hi Zeronexus,
Details please:
1] Which bootloader and baseband are you on?
2] What was the last stock firmware version you flashed?
3] Does your radio work on stock firmware?
4] Who is your carrier? GSM or CDMA?
5] Do WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS work?

Hi Zeronexus,
The obake platform defaults to an expectation of a CDMA network that is configured like Verizon Wireless in the US.
To configure as a GSM phone, you need to issue the following command in bootloader mode:
fastboot oem config carrier gsm
I use Verizon in the US, so I've never tried it on GSM networks, but that's the instructions in the LOS obake README file:
https://github.com/pbarrette/android_device_motorola_obake
Hopefully that works for you.

Hi zeronexus,
At this point, I'm not sure what you can do.
Basically, you have problems with the radio even using stock firmware. Granted, you have a workaround, but it's still not operating correctly.
So it could be that you have a hardware error.
Or, it could be that your SIM is giving bad instructions as to which radio configuration to enable.
That could be due to having a bad SIM card, or having some kind of incompatibility between your carrier and the phone's radio.
You could post the output of a "adb shell logcat -b all" and a "adb dmesg" performed immediately after a reboot.
I'll have a look at them, but I've never been that great at parsing logcat or dmesg files. Maybe someone else will also see them and have a better understanding.
The other thing you can try is finding the newest possible Pakistani ROM for the Moto-X (2013 model, code-named "ghost"), or for the Droid Ultra. You should be able to flash the radio for that to your Mini since they share the same hardware.
You could try different versions of radio firmware for the obake, obakem and ghost platforms and see if any of them work.
You would have to extract the "NON-HLOS.bin" and "fsg.mbn" files from the stock ROMs and do:
fastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin
fastboot erase modemst1
fastboot erase modemst2
fastboot flash fsg fsg.mbn
Thanks a lot sir! Even though my issue didn't resolve I appreciate your timely response will try to do what u said,I'm quite familiar with flashing.
If it makes any difference, my device says "device unlocked status code 1" and says Motorola confidential property " on the top,no Verizon logo. These devices have been shipped a lot recently to Pakistan and I doubt these testing devices should be up for sale legally.
It also has a factory mode and some additional boot loader options not available in other droids,I flashed a normal stock ROM but the one it was shipped with had an "S" instead of the KitKat "K" when tapping on android version.
