[Completed] Bluetooth tether randomly disconnects - How to update Bluetooth? - XDA Assist

In kitkat the bluetooth is like a rock, no problems.
In MM 6.0-3 the bluetooth randomly disconnects.
I found that this is a bug in MM, and that is fixed in later versions.
I had tried to update the bluetooth sharing app but the bluetooth stops working.
I had see that existis a folder Bluetooth in my ROM, but in others I have found that exists a second called BluetootExt.
How do I update the BT sharing app?
Someone knows a fix for the bluetooth tether disconnections?

[Completed] [Q] Inpiration Rom V18 Kitkat Bluetooth Bug

Hi,
Last night I flashed Inpiration Rom V18 Kitkat, and boy isn't it really something?
Just fell in love with the thing...
Problem was when I tried to connect my BT-501 Headset.
Bluetooth connects, pairs, but one "funny" thing happens: I start Google Music (or any other player, for that matter) and the music is directed to the GT S-7500 Internal Speaker while the calls I make are directed to the BT-501...
Today I flashed the Omarilzz Mod No More Words, and bluetooth and everything works, but I do not like too much the layout.
It's ok and all that, but not my piece of cake...
Any good words on what to do?
Thanks

[Completed] [Q] Bluetooth after Android 4.4.4 Update

I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 on AT&T and I just updated to Android 4.4.4
I have been having issues with the Bluettoth since the new update.
I can connect all my devices just fine, but i cant use any one of my devices for Media.
I have tried:
Car Bluetooth Stereo
Wireless Keyboard
Samsung Gear 2 watch
Selfie Stick
On all my devices I am able to connect and pair normally, but when i use each device it wont allow me to use each of its functions.
Example. On my car bluetooth stereo, I can answer my calls, but i cannot play music from spotify, i heart radio, regular music app, netflix, youtube, ect..
I noticed a "Media Audio" box under the bluetooth setting for my stereo that i should check to allow the audio, but whenever I attempt to press it, it will not allow me to check the box.
I am unable to check this box for the setting under my wireless keyboard, and for my selfie stick as well.
Can someone help me find a solution
Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. For future reference you can find your specific device forum here (bookmark/subscribe this):
AT&T, Canadian Bell, Rogers, Telus, Virgin Samsung Galaxy S 4
Within that section you will find a dedicated q&a sub-forum:
AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
And within that q&a section you'll find this great help thread here:
Stupid Questions Thread - No question too stupid!
Go ahead and ask your question in that help thread, you'll get the assistance you need.
Good luck!
PS. I in no way think your question is stupid, it's just the way that help thread is named.

[Completed] [Q] How to stop autoplay when connecting to bluetooth in car

Hi all,
It seems as if this is one of those eternal questions that nobody can answer completely. I just cant get the music player (either LG Music player or Google play music) to stop autoplaying when i connect to the bluetooth in my car.I have a LG G2. I called Verizon and LG and neither of them have a solution. I figured this forum was the next good bet to either have a solution or a workaround. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated for this annoyance.
Thanks![/B]
Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. I can see you've asked the same question here:
[Q] How to stop autoplay when connecting to bluetooth in car
Please refer to the XDA Forum Rules for information regarding the creation of duplicate posts/threads. We would have just directed you to post your question there anyway, so I'll close this thread and let the good people of the G2 section help you out.

[Completed] having problems rooting Android double din radio...need help!

Hey guys, I'm not new to rooting as I've done many devices, but I have to say the project I have now seems impossible. ...
I have and Android double din radio that I purchased of of Ebay, it says it is running android 4.4.4 jelly bean...It has so many restrictions, I can't access bluetooth settings/but will connect to any cellphone with no problems. ..and the USB access is very limited as the manufacturer seems to have hidden these features to make more profit on THERE OWN OBDII sacanners and tv box etc that you HAVE to purchase from them ONLY!, or those features WILL NOT work....
I love the fact that I have android in my car but this limited access is very annoying.
ANY help would be appropriated, thanx!

Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
We cannot provide technical support nor can other members reply to your posts here on XDA Assist and it's difficult to direct you towards a specific thread since you give so few details about your device but I suggest that you ask your question with all relevant details in the dedicated "Android Auto" Forum at http://forum.xda-developers.com/android-auto/, maybe in the "Android Head Units" subforum there at http://forum.xda-developers.com/android-auto/android-head-units where members familiar with your device might be able to advise you.
Good luck!
got it!
I did end up rooting it!...I used (Root Checker) and I am officially rooted...
But, I am still having a problem finding away to access the Bluetooth menu in settings/wireless & networks....

Hello again.
On a traditional Android device, Bluetooth is typically an entry under "Network Connections" or a similarly named menu. As mentioned earlier we cannot provide technical support here on XDA Assist, but if you ask in the forums mentioned earlier, another member may be able to assist you.
Once again, good luck!

[Completed] Android WIFI problem

I use Cape Town 945 audio/video/rear camera etc system in my car. Firmware version is1011403920001_SW_20151223 + root + Google Play. This is Android 4.1.1 based unit.
My problem is that WiFi interface turns off always when WiFi source (like my phone with GSM/LTE to WiFi router facility) disappears. It is important for me because Iuse it for example for on-line navigation, traffic jam info and so on.
Is any possibility to keep wifi interface always on? Maybe additional application must be installed from Google Play or any patch?
Hi,
This is not a Q&A forum. It is more to guide NEW users to the best place on the site for their problem .
Please read the OPENING THREAD and the Second one , too.
