Pre-Orders from Samsung Shipping Early Next Week!

I pre-ordered my S3 direct from Samsung. I was curious if they were planning on shipping on the 18th or before, so I chatted with them and they said shipments begin in 1 to 3 business days. Kind of vague, but to me that means Monday thru Wednesday. :fingers-crossed:
But it is also not uncommon for these folks to not have a clue what their talking about... lol

Yup, sums up Samsung customer service!
I am in the UK, pre-ordered and assumed that the release date given here (11th November) was the day I would receive it. But no, they processed the payment yesterday and order status now says "All items shipped" so I am guessing it will arrive on Monday.

Amazon shows "Temporarily Out of Stock"
Anybody actually gotten a tracking number or seen it in a store?

My order was confirmed this morning [LTE version from T-Mobile.] I'm expecting a tracking number before the end of the day.

My local best buy had 3 in stock. I've been trying to preorder through them for a week. Went this morning and just picked it up.

I hope they send your tracking number, but the way things seem to be going, I wouldn't get my hopes too high. I was expecting to wake up with a tracking number from Samsung, didn't happen...

Nothing at my Bestbuy

Just picked mine up at my local Best Buy in Arlington, TX. There were still 2 left in the box when I left!

They had 5 in stock in the Woodlands, TX this morning when I picked mine up. Online they did not show anything so it would be best to just swing by.

Amazon telling me Tuesday 11/22 delivery

Just called Samsung. She said they were "processing" my pre-order today and I'd have it by next Wednesday at the latest.

I just canceled my online order and picked one up from the AT&T store by my work

Cancelled my Macy's preorder. Called customer service and they said expected ship date was 12-12. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Verizon might have it before those guys. Plus, that was the wifi/bt only version....

Just picked up the only one available at the corporate store downtown Dallas AT&T. They only received one unit. I was there when the doors opened. Love it.

Who did you order it from?

I ordered mine from AT&T and is supposed to ship on 18th (today) , but still says "preparing to ship"

Just received a reply to the email I sent to Samsung on Monday.
It says:

My reply wasn't very nice. Shipping status early December? When people are picking them up in stores now? And the highly publicized release date of the 18th.
After the Note fiasco, you'd think they would have been better prepared for upcoming releases of whatever device it may be.

Just picked up mine from at&t. They only had one and only the supply person new they had it. Just hooked it up to my lg v20. Everything seems to work as advertised. I do use the at&t service called numbersync so it does receive calls and texts from my lg v20's phone number.

Canadian Orders?

Has anyone from Canada gotten a confirmation on shipping yet? I got an email last week saying my order was changed from delivery on the 18th to the 23rd. Anyone else get anything different?

I also have the new delivery date of the 23rd. I think the 18th was only speculation. The date changed once Samsung came out with it's official release dates and Canada wasn't on the list for the initial release.

Sounds like all us North American people are in the same boat. Samsung told me they would be back in stock on the 22nd and I'd have mine early December (pre-ordered early morning Nov 6th direct from Samsung).
I'm hoping they actually ship them on the 22nd, then I might have a chance of getting it before the holiday. If not, it will be early December probably.
Can't believe how Samsung dropped the ball on this one. After the Note 7 deal, you'd think they would be doing whatever possible to make people happy.
Getting my new toys early make me very happy... lol

The watch would have the ability to connect to Rogers network as it uses the same frequency bands as AT&T however you could never activate it on the Rogers network with a Rogers contract because Rogers doesn't have the ability to activate an e-sim device.

Anyone actually get shipping confirmation from BestBuy Canada? They can't seem to show me my order this morning (get and error on the web page) so I can't tell if it has shipped or not.

It showed error for hours and now it's back to in progress. Wednesday it should be out for delivery, hopefully.

Thanks, mine still says in Progress. I would have thought they would send them out for a Wednesday delivery. I have a shipping ID but I think that is an internal number only. Let me know if you get a status change. I didn't get any emails telling me they had billed my card so not expecting one telling me they shipped it.

I originally ordered on the 17th and forgot to add the 10% discount so I cancelled and reordered on the 18th. My Purolator tracking shows it is in Calgary today but I doubt they will deliver because it is too late. My status shows Fulfillment Completed. I got an email yesterday that said it was shipped and included the tracking number.

I got Mine at local AT&T store on the release day. They had two and I got one. I had the Gear S and this is a huge upgrade.

When I purchased mine, Samsung indicated it would be shipped in early December.

I just activated it yesterday on a Go Phone (Pre-Paid AT&T account). It seems walking away from your charging phone is half of the fun.
My mobile accounts are Verizon and I couldn't activate it any better way.

That is a good way to use the LTE on the watch. My phone is on AT&T and I should've walked into the AT&T store instead of pre-ordering from Samsung.com.

Before I go back to my local store and try again, please confirm. You're not an AT&T customer but the store sold you a phone without requiring you to establish a line (or two) with them? Which plan did you put it on?

Well Its not quite that simple. I had a Gear S with an AT&T SIM card already but no password for the company account. So they let me buy the Gear S3 for the full price without any transfer or new account. I'm sure the Guy said he could only sell to new or existing customers but gave me a break. I then went to https://www.att.com/GoPhoneWeb to activate prepaid. it took 10 minutes.
Maybe they would let you do the same?

I just called Samsung and they said the order is gonna be shipped on December 18 which is very very ridiculous because I pre-ordered it on Nov 11 and the watch was supposed to ship on Nov 18 and now it is been backordered for a month? This is stupid for Samsung. I am going to the local AT&T store to get the watch and cancel the order from Samsung.
Update: They lied.. I just received an email with a tracking number from Samsung saying that the order had just been shipped. Their customer service had no idea what they were talking about.

I ordered a classic S3 early on November 20, the day the sale went live ($50 off - so EPP price of $265) and it shipped on 11/25 (label created on 11/24).

I ordered a Frontier VERY early on Nov 20th (right after midnight). No update, not even a "Preparing order for shipment"........mine simply says "Boxed item".

I got mine today. They shipped it on Tuesday and it arrived today...

Wow, that's odd. I never saw "Boxed Shipment" as a status. I'd call Samsung and get the lowdown.
EDIT: I just received my shipping notification email a few minutes ago. It left Middletown, PA at 5pm yesterday and is supposed to be arriving today!
When I checked the status earlier this morning it still said "Preparing for Shipment" ...

The terms and conditions state you have to wait 14 days, I'm curious if anybody successfully did this before the 14 day period though, its annoys me, as there was no mention of having to wait when I purchased the View 20.

14 days is the cooling off period. Its to stop you claiming the watch then sending your phone back.

I understand the principle behind it, but what I really want to know if anybody has successfully claimed it sooner.
But on your point, whilst the idea is common sense, they've missed the fact that a lot of UK online retailers offer a 30 day money back guarantee.

Amazon.co.uk are denying all knowledge of this promotion. I'm fuming!

There are 20 retailers on the approved list, Amazon included. What has probably happened is now that the promotion has ended, the customer service agent can't see the original offer that you spoke to. I will be applying for my free watch in a few days time and dont expect an issue.

14 days is because official honor site has only 14 days return policy.

I put in my request for mine as its now been 2 weeks since I got the phone. I'll update people if the watch arrives.

Did you get an email saying your claim was successful? If so how long after applying did you get the email?

Just the email I got today informing me it would be delivered on Friday. Only previous email was the one I got when I made the claim.
