Today, I want to share guide for new users (you) about unlocking bootloader, Custom Rom flashing, flash recovery and more .
Note
Rooting, flashing custom rom will void your phone warranty.
This all below methods are only tested Gionee F103 , don’t try it on any other model.
Please do some research if you have any concerns about flashing ROMs or any other doubts!
Follow the steps correctly otherwise you may brick your device. We are not responsible for any damage of your phone.
It will erase all your personal data including data of internal storage, so we advise you first to take a complete backup of your phone and then proceed.
Ensure that your phone has at least 50-60% charged to prevent the accidental shutdown in-between the process.
P.S. But you can always get warranty back by flashing stock ROM.

hello, i tried installing twrp several times with sp tool
but everytime i get "pmt changed for the rom,it must be downloaded" error..So i formatted the partition as the youtube tutorial suggested but then i have to install stock rom to rum my phone back on..So no twrp ...what's the problem?? Help me with that!!

I recently upgraded/flashed stock rom from amigo 5.0.2 to amigo 6.0 and everything is working except that the baseband became unknown, IMEI null, sim cards not detected, wifi mac address changed to 02:00:00:00:00:00. After a lot of googling I learnt that my NVRAM partition was what contained those data and it was wiped during the flashing process and I already deleted most of my backups (including My NVRAM backup made via adb) to free space on my pc (I didn't notice the problem on time).
Please can someone share a backup of NVram and NVdata for gionee f103m (whether adb, mtk droid, miracle box, sp flash tool, just any one that is available please).

The device runs on 4.0.4 ICS, with 1ghz 256mb ram, and a 4" WVGA capacitive touch screen. I've rooted it via Framaroot and am using an additional 1gb of swapped ram.

Root & cwm for karbonn a2+
It is a simple procedure, but it took long time for me to make it work.
Points to consider
a. After flashing my phone didn’t boot. I just flashed only the recovery, I think that would caused the problem, later I re-flashed the stock rom boot img separately).worked !
b. Instead of backup copy I tried with the stock rom imgs, It worked for me. If you don’t want to lose any data please use your phone backup copy img files.
c. I am not a developer & don’t know how the stuffs work inside the mobile, with the help of XDA contributors & developers forum messages, I was able to do something.
d. Please do read the rooting & flashing guides thoroughly.
e. Please don’t panic if something goes wrong. Stock rom is available, flash it & you get your mobile back.
ROOTING & BACK UP
1.Frama root will give you the root rights ! - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2130276
Download & Install - open it choose install super user, then click "boromir" success message will appear, click ok and reboot your phone. You can see a message "android is updating" after you reboot your phone.
2. Dowload MTKdroid lastest version (older version also fine)-sorry I couldn’t find any working links
Backup your stock rom using MTK droid tool, before making any changes to the stock OS. MTK droid tool may ask you to root again. Please read rooting and flashing instructions thoroughly before doing any changes.
a. Install MTKdroid tool in your pc & open it, If the tool asks you to root, click root, in couple sec or mins yellow signal will turn green.
b. Click on the “Root,backup,recovery & then click backup – Please wait till the process completes
If the message says “end with error” – The backup copy will not help us to re-flash the OS
(I tried many times, but I am not able to flash the backup copy with SP flash tool, gives me some error.
(for making CWM the above copy is fine, because I hope there won’t be any error when the software creates a backup for boot.img & recovery.img)
c. Ok assuming that there is no error, the next step is Click on the button “To prepare blocks for Flash tool” – wait till it completes. This process will gives us the entire copy of the rom to flash it with SP flash tool – Can find the backups in MTKdroid tools /backups/ Karbonn-A2+_number _date_backup_ folder/file to flash tool. (MTKdroid tool is required to create CWM, so don’t close the MTKdroid tool)
d. No stock roms were available when I was testing that time, so I ended up with the service center. Thanks to XDA member “Forever Alone”. Now working stock rom is available.
3.CWM CREATING & PORTING
a. Select “To choose the boot.img file & click recovery & boot. Software will ask you to select the boot.img. Select the boot.img from the backup copy in MTKdroid tools /backups/Karbonn-A2+_ _backup_ /file to flash tool.
b. Click Yes - To make CWM automaticllay
C. Click yes - If phone isn't loaded, it is ness to flash this file...to phone? Software may show a write error, just leave it for now.
e. Click NO - Install created recovery to phone ?
Copy of the recovery & boot img will be in MTKdroid tools /recovery
Now CWM has been created & that needs to flashed via SP flash tool
4. Flashing CWM recovery
Download SP flashtool - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1982576
Copy the scatter file from Mtkdroid backup folder to mtkdroid recovery folder to avoid confusion in selecting the image files.
Open SP flashtool – Select the scatter file from mtkdroid recovery folder & flash it. You are done. Now you can see the auto made CWM instead of stock recovery

5.Download the stock rom from - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2520719
Extract the files & store it in separate folder.

hi.. im using karbonn a2+ mtk 6575 device .i downlaod lewa os for karbonn a11 as same specification of karbonn a2+. but installed that succefully. but stuck in boot logo..but im not ported this rom.i just change boot image only.. what is the problem??

Gionee elife s7 NVRAM and IMEI error
Hi XDA friends I was flashing stock ROM on my gionee elife s7, this smartphone is based on mt6752 soc. While flashing ROM I accidentally selected Format+Update option in SP FLASH TOOL, so flash tool erased my nvram partition. Now I'm getting NVRAM error and also there's no network in my smartphone because its displaying invalid imei. I tried to root my smartphone, but I found that currently my smartphone is not rootable, no root tool is succeeded in rooting it.
Please friends help me..
If any how I can get nvram.bin I think this problem can be fixed.

If you flashed indian firmware on the chinese device or vice versa invalid imei may appear due to different radios. If you really formatted nvram that's sad, but you can try to restore it using radio DB that comes with firmware and one of tools like SN Flash Tool. However for some reason all these tools work really unreliably at least with this phone. I managed to write nvram just once out of many attempts while I was playing with the phone. Always back up your data before flashing. Just read out everything from 0 address to cache partition using sp flash tool and you will be safe

sorry if this is not the correct section of the forum but can some1 help me ?
I have Allview X1 Soul mini and it was completely deleted. no backups were made so i dont have stock rom and havent backed up the IMEI . I found out that it was rebranded from giuree elife e6 mini so i managed to find stock rom for giuree and flashed it but now i have the problem with the IMEI - null .
I tried engineering mode but i got the AT command cant send. MTK Droid too cant do this also because it gets an error --- ERROR ttycmd1 device NOT found! also baseband is not showing .
I wanted to try flash the IMEI file with the CWM but i get cant mount /sdcard problem there and cant open the SD card to sellect files...
Can you give me some advice ? thanks.

I had a problem installing it but i will try again. the problem is i managed to install one rom for Giuree elife E6 mini but after that i didnt have enough root access to change the IMEI or install from the CWM any zips ...
you dont need cwm to instal walton rom,use sp flash tool

yup i know i did that, but i root the phone with kingo and then i cant install anything with CWM. there is a zip IMEI REPAIR that i try to flash with CWM but it doesnt allow it maybe due to not having enough root. it starts and it says aborted. please if you have original stock rom for this phone , upload it somewhere. thanks.

LAVA IRIS X1 GRAND ,ROMS,ROOT AND CUSTOM RECOVERY
All the people who are using lava iris x1 grand (like me).Well this device is not that popular for big roms to built for it and new threads to be started but still there are people who are using this device and want guide how to root it ,install custom recovery ,and roms .
So for rooting this device basically its the same for all android device but I refer Kingoroot as I have successfully rooted the phone with it many time but yes you need a good speed internet for faster rooting and above 60% charge so it don't get shut down while rooting or you will be in big trouble before that you should make a backup of your data which you can make in your stock recovery and if you are on lollipop version basically you must have observed things like no detection by Mtk droid tool ,no and drivers of device and the most important you recovery is locked ya after the lollipop upgrade the recovery is locked so if you need to get into recovery you have to try combination of volume +volume - and power button (I too don't know I just get wild and press the three of them randomly and unlocks) or you can get your device downgraded .
For downgrading your device or if you are stuck in bootloop and don't have a custom recovery then download the lava iris x1 grand stock rom (any version you want ) spflash , a pc and some common science,so take your device battery out plug it in to pc using sub cable open flash tool on your pc locate the downloaded rom select the framework file and the press on download button in the flash tool after this press the volume up bottom and then the flash tool will detect your phone then wait for the yellow line to filled up then a check box will appear saying downloaded successfully the boot you device up and you will have your device e downgraded and if you want to upgrade it download the upgrade version of rom and flash it with same process .
: FOR CUSTOM RECOVERY:
For this you need the device to be at kit Kat and should be Mtk ( works for all Mtk kit Kat devices ) then download the easy magic Phillz recovery ,or easy magic twrp (if you need twrp as a recovery) .On your pc make sure you have kit Kat ,Mtk based phone and drivers installed open the setup let it install and then start the easy magic philz/twrp and but you should have your device rooted .After this you should have your custom recovery installed if not then comment .
: ROMS:
Lava iris x1 grand dint had any rom porter until nikhilbhise2244 started to port for this device so plea like his post as well after you have your custom recovery installed , download the lava iris x1 grand rom from Nikhils post and put it into your phone's storage (but remember where you kept it ) boot into recovery using the key combination or any third party app .After you get in the recovery before installing a rom you should clear the delvik cache,data (don't clear the internal data or you you will delete the rom downloaded) and system after this search for the rom downloaded install it and you will boot up in a new rom

What is your kernel version
Somebody have x1 grand kitkat firmware? I have searched for it but could not find it I want bcoz I want to install kernel 3.4.67 rom on my 3.10.54 kernel.
