Has the source code been released? Will there be an update to 4.1 for us? I im sure there would be, and but if anyone has a better guess than I do please share with us.

But it still have many bugs on it, I don't recommend to you to use it

Thats great. But I haven't rooted my device yet. I actually like the touchwiz goodies on ics. Ie, the screen capture button and quick apps. I'll probably wait for the ota. I use this device as a job companion, so I can't afford to deal with the bugs in those builds.

OnePlus One rom

Now there's a system dump of the OnePlus One, would it be possible to port it? I know it sounds stupid because we already have cm11, but I'd love the lock screen and other goodies it comes with
Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
Possible? Yes, always possible.
Easy? Nope.
Well I was thinking that because cm11s isn't that different to cm11, it shouldn't be too hard because we have fully functional cm11, was just wondering if there are any Dev's interested in this

Hi,
I posted it yesterday in this thread with the GalleryNext: http://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/themes-apps/search-camera-app-oneplus-one-t2730715.

There is a way to port "always-listening" app?

Thats not quite the issue. The issue is we don't have the source. It's compiled for completely different hardware. It's not about the rom. It's about the kernel and drivers

(Question)(PA)

Just want to know if someone is building PA directly from source 5.1 for our beloved hh and can share his builds
At the moment I don't own a computer capable to compile the builds so that's why I'm asking it here ( in g+ .... You know what would happen lol )
Thanks in advance !

Did PA even release anything to 5.1 public repos?

Anyone want to guess how long after the Sept 29 event it will take us to get marshmallow?

I think that sounds perfectly reasonable

Well, hopefully a week or two after launch if you're looking for custom ROMs like I am ?

We'd either need a leaked version from Moto or a ported version from the Nexus line right? IF that's possible, I'd assume you could port over a dev release and get it now. Porting is beyond my skill level, though (since I have 0 skill) so I don't know if that'd even be possible.

I'm sure it's possible. It was done with my HTC M8, ported from the M9. If you don't want a custom ROM, then Moto should have an update ready around the same time as the Nexus phones, at least that's what happened last time (Moto even got lollipop before the Nexus 6).
That's one of the reasons I went with this device. Fast updates :good:
In one month after the Nexus release.
Custom roms should be quick in my opinion

Wouldn't a dev just be able to build from source once the 6.0 source is released?

Since we already have CM support, it shouldn't take much longer from when CM adopts Marshmallow.

Wow! I assume you're the only one who has CM support, regarding the development section here and the CM homepage ^^
