Stock G2 charger to charge our G5 - LG G5 Accessories

Anyone tried it? How slow would that be to fully charged up the phone from empty? I have an extra G2 stock charger lying around and thinking of using it for overnight charging purpose.
would that be a problem?

I use my g2 charger for the g5. My g5 charger stopped working after a week. I think it is about the same.

I'm using Aukey charger with Quick Charge 2.0 which was my old charger used to my G2 before. Now my G5 is using it without a problem.

Non-Nexus 4 Charger Charging On/Off?

Hi All,
Is anyone having issues with their non-nexus 4 chargers charging on and off? When I plug my phone into my car usb charger (5V/1A), the charging icon flashes on and off; I didn't want to ruin the phone so I unplugged it. I googled it and saw this thead; someone mentioned that the N4 required a 2A charger so I wanted to see the experience here.

The charger I'm using: http://www.amazon.com/Belkin-Micro-Auto-Charger-5VOLT/dp/B002F0200Q
Stock charger is 1200 ma.
My HTC car charger gives 1000 ma and works fine for my nexus 4.

I haven't had an issue with the charging going on and off, but I have been having an issue when I'm charging and using the phone with a non-LG charger. If I use the one that came with the phone, all is well... But if I use any other charger like my old one from HTC, the phone heats up real bad and I get horrible thermal throttling. I've tested it a few times, always doing the same thing (looking at XDA) and the LG charger is the only one that plays well with the phone while charging/using.

I just checked with another USB wall charger that I had which puts out only 500mA; that one works fine... so I guess my car charger is broken.
I've been using the charger that came with my nexus one and had no problems. The last couple days I've been charging off my PC because apparently slow charging is better for the battery.

Z3 charging

Are there any people here using a different charger in order to charge the Z3 a little quicker? As it is, it takes forever to fully charge the battery, especially during the last 5%. I want to try the turbo charger from Motorola but I'm concerned of ruining my battery.

The stock charger is pretty fast for me already. What is ur charger's amperage?

I use the 2.0A charger that came with my Tab S. It charges reasonably fast. However, if you use the magnetic charging cable, it'll charge the phone faster.
I bought the motorola quick charger. I definitely don't plan on using it all the time. It'll be a travel charger where I might need to add some charge in a pinch.
There's a thread documentind the rate at which different charging methods charge at. I put my Turbo Charger results at the bottom.

Moto G3 charging time

I am using an Indian Moto G3. 16 GB variant.
The charger packed along with the phone takes 3 hours for 0->100%. Can I use some other charger that will do it faster? Please let me know. And will using a different charger damage the phone?
This is a big deal for me. Thanks in advance.

you should have no problem using a different charger. i use a quickcharger (not that this has QC capabilities, but i have one from my other phone here at work) as well as a 1.5A and 2.0A charger at home, there's only been a couple charge cycles so far but no issues.
i haven't had any issue using various chargers with any of my phones, the bigger difference will be using a cheap charger vs a quality one.
the weak charger included is most likely a way to cut costs down, which is also why it's not a usb cable with an adapter, but an integrated charger.
i also use a 1.5A charger with my moto 360 vs the crappy one they included in that, no issues so far.
You can use up to a 2A charger, which should cut charge time in half.
Have u used a 2A charger on the G3? Charge times?
I use a premium brand charger 2.4A output takes about 2+hr to fully charge. Won't use the pathetic 550mA charger came with my phone. For $235 with tax cheaporola could include a better charger with a separate good quality usb cable.

warp charger and other devices

This night seem like a stupid question but can you charge other devices with it or will it fry it?
It'll be just fine. I charged my LG V30 with it and nothing went wrong.
It would be fine just very slow and some devices may not charge at all with it like a Nintendo Switch
I charged my 5T using 30W Warp charger and it charged same speed as Dash charger it came with.

OnePlus 6 Warp Charge Problem

Hey,
Recently I've got a OnePlus 6 but it came without any charger. So I have bought a 30W warp charger which was taken from the OnePlus 7 Pro box. It charges and works fine till the battery is charged to 65%. After 65% it stops charging and I have to switch to some other regular charger or charge it via USB port from my laptop. to charge the battery from 65% to 100%.
I have cleaned the connection on phone, I've tried another cable but the result is always the same. Battery optimization is turned off.
I need your help: What can cause this problem and how I can fix it? I don't have a chance to test it with another warp charger, since I don't have access to other ones. and it is very uncomfortable for me to charge with two chargers -_- Please help...
