Lucky Patcher "Patch to Android" failed and now Google Play Store won't download/work
G'day everyone,
New member here posting for the first time and desperately seeking your help (as I really am a complete noob unless you consider using Turbo Pascal in the 90s as programming).
I recently rooted my Galaxy S5 SM-G900I (Australian model) using Unified Android Toolkit with a CF-Auto-Root-klte-kltedd-smg900i.tar MD5 file through Odin.
Everything went great and after installing Titanium Backup Pro and Busybox Pro I promptly got to removing most of the Samsung and Telstra bloatware which has taunted me for years.
I was using Lucky Patcher before rooting so I decided to install the cracked Google Play Store by using the "Patch to Android" feature.. It failed but somehow (I have no idea how) the cracked Google Play Store worked anyway.
Just to clarify what I mean by it failing I saw a screen appear for only half a second before rebooting and managed to see some text in red and the word "failed".
I have seen an image in tutorials which shows this screen as having text in green saying success and then the next time you go into the Patch to Android section the top two options say patched.
A couple of days later I must have deleted something I shouldn't have using Titanium Backup because the next time I rebooted my phone it wouldn't go past the Samsung loading screen.
I spent nearly 16 hours trying different things I found on Google (recovery through TWRP, CWM, factory resetting, sideloading through Odin, installing custom ROMs) but nothing worked so I finally resorted to Samsung Kies (please bear in mind I had zero experience at this so I probably made a lot of mistakes).
After the phone was restored back to factory settings (running 6.0.1 Marshmallow) I rooted it again and tried to reinstall the cracked Google Play Store.. Again patching to Android through Lucky Patcher didn't work and being a complete idiot I deleted the original Google Play Store apk and tried to simply replace it with the cracked version.
Needless to say this didn't work and now my Google Play Store wouldn't download anything (it just sat at the "Downloading" screen but didn't actually do anything).. My phone also refused to remember any WIFI passwords for some reason.
I factory reset through the internal recovery option but neither problem was fixed so I used Kies (AGAIN)!
I repeated the process of reinstalling everything and tried patching to Android yet again but of course it didn't work. I was using the latest version of Lucky Patcher (6.3.1) but I thought I may have been using an earlier version previously (6.2.8) as I downloaded it a month or so ago and was never able to update through Lucky Patcher itself so I uninstalled the current version and installed the previous version.
Patch to Android failed again and when the phone rebooted I discovered Google Play Store and Google Play Services had both been deleted!
I restored both through Titanium Backup but then had the same problem with the Google Play Store refusing to actually download anything so I cleared the caches and rebooted my phone.
Google Play Store had been deleted yet again but Google Play Services was still there this time so I restored Google Play Store and that basically brings me to this point in time right now as I don't know what to do and I REALLY don't want to reset everything through Kies for a third time.
Can anyone please help?
Regards,
Scottie.

Greetings and welcome to xda, unfortunately we can't help you with this one. Xda is a developers site for developers and lucky patcher directly affects them so is banned. I recommend flashing stock with odin and then starting over without lucky patcher then we can help you
Good Luck

[Q] [HELP] 403 Google play error, help!

Hello awesome people at xda forums!
I had my N5 for about 2 weeks now, for the first week i've used stock, but i had to try som new roms/kernels so i installed cataclysm rom with franco kernel. I had no problems everything worked great, and google play worked. On my old phone i had xposed framework, and a few modules. I've downloaded it on my N5 and got "keepchat, bootmanger, greenify and gravitybox. Everything still worked great, i used some of the features with gravitybox and enabled some feature where i had to reboot my phone. Something i about statusbar, not really sure though. I've hot rebooted, and my phone kept crashing "system ui crashed" and i tried normal reboot, still crashing. I've factory reset with twrp and used a stock 4.4.2 backup i had, and i was about to download busybox then i got some errors. I think i got a 920 error at first, I've searched the whole web and found a solution. (Or i thought i did) Then it gave me a 403 error, I've spent my whole day trying to find a solution, but could not find any. Heres what I've tried:
Reboot phone. *same issue*
Wipe cache and data from google play, then reboot. *same issue*
Sign out of google account, then wipe cache and data from google play and google services framework, then reboot and sign in. *same issue*
Make a new google account and use it to download apps. *same issue*
Wipe dalvik cache and cache from twrp. *same issue*
Install a update for google play *same issue*
Check for proxy, had none.
I think my APN is fine, not sure though.
I've mixed some of the options above, but still with the same stupid error "403"
My question is, is my N5 bricked? If not, is there a solution to this problem?
Best regards,
Kristoffer
If your phone turns on in any capacity, it's not bricked. That term is only supposed to be used when your phone is rendered completely useless and turned into a paperweight or wait for it.... a brick.
If I were in your shoes I would just flash the factory image from Google and start over again. That'll get you back on your feet.

Disregard my previous post. I just read an article that says apparently everyone is having play store issues today and getting the 403 error.

[Completed] Play store crash/connection error

Hello everyone!
I recently got my first Android phone so im fairly new to all this.
(my phone: lg g2 d802 16gb model, rooted, stock 4.4.2)
I rooted it and froze some harmless apps(was very cautious not to freeze important ones) and everything worked fine. i downloaded some apps after i edited things(=playstore worked) the last thing i remember is change the clock widget on my lock screen(a stock widget) but i dont think this has anything to do with it eighter..
At one point i tried to download an app but the play store couldnt connect(even though i had an internet connection, rest worked just fine)
i read through the internet and tried multiple things:
-clear cache and data of the play store app
-removed updates
-deleted and reinstalled it
-removed my google account(after this the app started crashing instantly probably because i froze sth thats needed to register a new google account or whatever, i dont know)
-made a factory reset: i really hoped this would fix it but it didnt. the app still crashes. after the factory reset i still found the supersu app on the phone(is the phone still rooted even though i did a factory reset?)
-removed my root access and did a factory reset again. additionally i logged in with a new google account so they google wouldnt use the data from my original google account(maybe there was sth that was causing it) didnt work.
Anyone has an idea what to do next? could flashing the stock rom help? whats the next step?
Thanks in advance!
Hi,
First try clearing Data on play store, Play services and Google services framework. Then reboot.
Failing that, you would need to ask for help in your device section here...
> LG G2 > G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Good luck!
hey, thanks for the fast reply.
i tried it but it didnt work unfortunately. Thanks for the advice, i posted a thread in the device-specific section!

[Q] [HELP?!] Google Play Services won't update, error "-501"

Hey Folks!
You're literally my last hope! I've made a mistake - a huge one.
Long story:
My keyboard kept disappearing so I thought "Hey, if I uninstall the Play services update, it should run smoother!" Well, it did. And then all the trouble began. I couldn't use most of my Google apps anymore, so I convinced myself to update to version 7.0, again. But hello! Error "-501" was and still is in the way! So I searched Google for an answer, but nothing helpful. I tried installing a downloaded apk, but it wouldn't install it. *Sigh*
Short story:
I uninstalled the Play Services app to version 6.7, but the Google Apps didn't think of that as funny... So I tried installing it again, but it didn't work. I deleted the cache of almost every Google related app, plus the data, but nothing was helping. Error "-501" just keeps popping up!
I'd like not to do a factory reset or root my phone. If there's a more convenient way, please tell me.
Regards,
Jeffrey
You'll likely have to factory reset.
What Android version are you on, and what modifications do you have (if applicable)?

rooted nomoreota.zip apps not updating

So i rooted it, flashed nomoreota.zip.
I signed up for google play store with my same account as always.
I'm trying to DL and install file manager (or what ever it's name is) and root checker.
Neither of them are DL and or installing.
Than i get a message saying google play store app needs to be updated and same, it won't DL install.
I get the bars moving that shows something is suppose to be happening but it just sits like that bars moving nothing happening...
Any help plz. Thank you...
NVM it's all of a sudden started working.
I'm now updating everything.
The internet failed on it after that problem and reset the device and now it's accessing my router again.
God this thing is starting to act up.
My new tablet is flawless compared to the old one that's rooted and has supersu on it...

[HELP] Cannot get past initial setup

Hi people, I have a Huawei P8 (GRA-L09) but I do not know which build version (I assume it is V100R001C900B118 since I am from South Africa), unlocked bootloader (via huawei) and rooted (normal supersu) with TWRP recovery.
I recently started getting problems with my google play: Something about unable to authenticate. I tried clearing data for google apps, restarting phone, changing password online to force play store to ask, nothing worked.
Eventually after uninstalling updates (to play store) I got new error: Unable to reach server [RH-01] which i also couldn't fix.
I did a factory reset after backing up my apps, because it was the most suggested answer to solve google play problems.
Now I am at the InitialSetup of android, I select my locale, agree to huawei privacy policy and when I press next, it hangs. for hours.
I tried doing a wipe from TWRP (data, cache and dalvik) to no avail.
My phone is unusable now... Any help will be greatly appreciated
PS: nothing I had done with root was recently, i.e. my phone was working perfectly until google play store problem
Also, due to my internet being potato, I would prefer a stock rom download as a last resort
I cant remember if bumping is allowed or not, but this is urgent...
