Are you sure you are flashing correct firmware and the latest version?

Yes, I'm trying to flash G930TUVS2APB8
Should I only do "AP"? Or try all four files?
What do I do in the CSC field? Load the CSC or HOME_CSC file?
Should I try the special Odin by PrinceComsy or 3.11?

This is what I get on Odin

This is what shows up on Odin

Fixed the problem!!! thanks

What was the solution? I'm having this issue as well

Try going into recovery and factory reset(wipe data)

It got fixed by using my pc rather than my laptop (had same drivers installed so no idea)
Also downloaded the absolute latest firmware from sammobile and latest Odin
Hope you can fix your problem man.
Note: if it doesnt let you flash stock I read that it may be because you're trying to flash something older, by default you cannot downgrade on s7

Just as an added note, always make sure you do an MD5 check on anything you are about to flash in Odin.

Upgrading from 5.1.1 to 6.0.1 using Custom Roms

I just got this phone 2 days ago.
While i was flashing around. i tried to flash from 5.1.1 (noble rom) to 6.0.1 S7 edge port also noble. but it seems i'm stuck at Boot logo.
Flashing "G920FXXU3DPB6_G920FDRE3DPB1_G920FXXU3DPB6_HOME.tar (6.0.1)" gives me an error as well. it fails to flash in odin.
but lucky i got twrp backups from my previous roms lol.
Thanks for helping
Also a question. is Lollipop performing better than Marshmallow? :good: Specially the battery here is the question.
Marsmallow is better than Lollipop on S6.
Can you post the Odin error log here?

If your phone is G920F, then flash this ROM. Make sure you selected PIT file on Odin (PIT file included in ROM zip)
https://docs.google.com/uc?id=0B3U72O5ZZ8z-STJiWWJmR2hPM1U&export=download
After you've flashed it, flash the Marsmallow ROM via Odin (without PIT file).
Aftery you've flashed Marsmallow ROM, make factory reset via recovery.
Done!

Try using the modded "Prince Cosmy Odin" with stock firmware first
If that fails, try following this

I attempted to follow that link so i when through the steps came to step two of downloads and had to find a S7 Snapdragon Root .tar so i did and found this XDA forum https://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-s7-edge/how-to/root-method-nougat-t3566978 which was the first thing on google searching for the snapdragon.
I followed those steps and i for the error Secure check fail : Boot

Have you tried the non-modded version?
I'd have used that first
ODIN 3.12.3 or newer

IT WORKS!
I downloaded this file
USC-G930R4TYU4BQK3-20171221083318.zip
Wish I knew where I got it from but now my phone is actually turning on!
There was a loading screen iv never seen before thought it show
Installing applications with a black bar then smart switch popped up and the bar was filled instantly with yellow lol iv just never seen this screen before from
past uses of any Samsung device.
Good stuff, just be cautious with that model S7, it's a snapdragon meaning much more difficult to unbrick if you brick it as the bootloader is locked

Its really buggy the OS itself. Its slower the normal idk if its just because of how fresh it is like the flash maybe just give it time?

Did you factory reset after the flash (or use CSC to force the reset)?
I'd reset it, it should be pretty smooth after maybe 5 mins of first boot

In a hard situation (bricked?)

Yesterday I wanted to flash a nobrand ROM, I started flashing but on odin it gave me FAIL and the phone restarted, but guess what, it went in a bootloop. After few hours of problemsolving I remembered that I forgot to unlock OEM and enable debugging mode, dunno why I didn't think about it, maybe because I decided to flash while I was really sleepy. So, right now I am trying to put some stock firmware but nothing happens, what am I supposed to do now? The device is a SM-G955F
if u can go to download mode theres still hope. Download the CRGB DBT CSC version, its the latest, for g955f and flash it and if it fails see if you can boot to recovery and try to wipe everything and then go to download mode and try to flash again.
If not post your error to try to understand whats happening
Did that but it keeps giving me the same error when I go in to the bootloader: E:failed to mount /efs (invalid argument)
arw you using the latest odin? if so confirm you dont have a corrupted rom, dont use home-csc, use the normal csc to flash. a screenshot of odin might help to see wheres your problem and whats flashing correctly
I don't think I am using a corrupted ROM and yeh I have been using the normal CSC to flash. Here is the odin log:

and here is the error in the bootloader:
https://ibb.co/hbwO0e
i dont see error in the flashing rom state, i dont know why the last part repeat 3 times, bootloader is ok.
Did you tried flashing the stock recovery alone? that efs problem happened to me before when i flashed another region rom and wiped the efs carpet, i was able to boot but without signal.
Try flashing another region rom or flashing only modem file or recovery file, at this point your problem is with a corrupted missing efs or recovery, dont use pit file and let the phone boot alone without the usb if not force power off and try to boot again, dont go into recovery

Help with FRP Bypass for SM-J737A (AT&T).

UPDATE: Thanks to a helpful video I was able to get back into the phone. It required for you to have a locked SIM card and just following all the steps in the video
Here is the video if anyone is having similar issues: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1p-affHYB8s&t=189s
Very new to this but my brother gave me a Samsung galaxy J7 model sm-j737a. I do not have the google account associated with it, neither does he, and so I tried using odin to flash the stock firmware in it but I keep getting a fail in writing. I am not sure if its the firmware that I am using that is wrong or what (Full Firmware J737AUCU1ARE6_J737AATT1ARE6_8.0.0 BY Windows4Droid). Does anyone have the official stock firmware for the SM-J737A? Is there another way to go about this? Below I listed what it says when I try to install it in Odin3 13.1. Any help for this noob would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Is the firmware your trying to flash the correct bootloader? ( the 5th number from the right of the firmware name... E.G. .....2AUSR1 the (2) would be the bootloader version. They usually need to match accordingly or be higher than the one on the phone already.
Anyone know how to bypass same phone on pie?
