I purchased oppo f1 plus yesterday.
I am having problems connecting to any bluetooth device. First of all, the mobile keeps on searching for a bluetooth device for ever and when it gets connected the music breaks while playing.
I have also noticed that mac address of wifi is identical to mac address of bluetooth. In every mobile phone mac address of wifi is different from mac address of bluetooth.
Went to the service center they replaced the phone with a new one, the new phone is having the same issues, then we tried with three brand new oppo f1 plus models with different 4.0 bluetooth devices but the same issue is there.
Service center people updated the software, factory reset the phone, but the issue is still there in oppo f1 plus models.
We notice one thing if we remove the 4g sim from the phone then the bluetooth starts working fine. but then whats the point in buying a volte enabled phone.
Anyone else is having the same issue. Kindly post and share how to fix the problem.
I'm having the exact same issue on the Oppo r9 plus. Did you find a solution?

I'm having an croma crxt1131 android tablet.
Just a month ago I gave it for servicing in from a store and all thing were fine .Suddenly 3days before my WiFi and Bluetooth both was not working, I search on Google but could not find any relevant answer.I checked status of my tablet(setting>about phone>status) and when I checked Bluetooth and WiFi address it showed unavailable. I searched on net again and some said hardware problem and some said software problem. So I taught of to go to croma store and give it for repair again.Suddenly today my WiFi was automatically on and my Bluetooth was working fine ,I used Bluetooth for 4 hour and seen no problem but suddenly in the evening it went off again and not starting.I tried to reboot many times but still not starting. As Bluetooth and WiFi was working mean that its not an hardware problem but some software issue.I tried to find efs folder but it was not their on my root folder (actually my device is rooted).
Help me to make WiFi and Bluetooth run again on my device.
I have an screenshot of WiFi and Bluetooth address.
At work we installed a new WiFi router a few months back. The connection is open and no one needs a password to connect to it. But many who bought android phones recently arent able to connect to it. I have a OnePlus One with android 4.4.4 which doesnt connect to the WiFi. My colleagues own Xiaomi, Motorola phones which they bought recently, which also doesnt connect to the internet.
The phones detect the WiFi signal, says the network is saved but fails to connect to it no matter what. The temporary solution is to make our laptop into a WiFi router and use it but this is seriously annoying. The router is from HP and I dont know the exam model number for it at the moment
I will be grateful if someone can find any solution for this problem. Also, I am a novice when it comes to gadgets so, if your suggestion is to manually set up my WiFi settings please do so with clear instructions or a video of some sort. However I will be happy if this problem gets solved in a straightforward manner.
Please help!

No need to configure wifi on your device IMO.
Sounds like an issue with the wifi router.
To check an fix the internet settings of the wifi router, you will need the adminstrative access/console/password for the router.
Then you can check that all new devices afre allowed to connect. On some routers you can restrict the access to a list of known devices or by enabling a MAC address filtering.
If you find such options on the HP wifi router, disable it and restart the wifi.
And make sure that the SSID of the wifi network is visible (= not hidden). Some Android devices have issue connecting to hidden networks.

I had trouble keeping a bluetooth connection with my Sony Smartwatch 3 and LG G3. The devices worked fine via WiFi but not over bluetooth after the initial setup. So after contacting Sony support(waste of time) and hunting online line for a solution I fixed it by turning off the bluetooth then turning it back on. It connection via bluetooth right away. I then changed a setting in the phone to not ask me to connect to that device. I'm guessing that's the same as auto connect. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm posting this mainly to help others since I THINK the problem is resolved.
I think i have exactly the same problem, but my G3 is unbranded from PL distribution, with freshly installed Marshmallow.
I can't tell anything more yet because i have my SWR50 since 3 hours...
Hi All,
I have a lenovo yoga tab 3 8 inch tablet. Since last week I am facing issue with wireless connection. Due to unknown reason, my wifi setting shows wifi authentication failure or saved. I have around 6 other devices that are connected to my wifi router, so I know the router is working fine. I have reset the tablet also, but still the same issue. It works for few minutes and then shows the same error.
I also did reset the router, though restored it with my configuration backup. Now I am lost with alternatives to fix this issue.
Android version I see in general info is 5.1.1.
Has anyone come across this issue before. What options do I have to resolve this?
Thanks
Hi,
I have recently (last week) joined the OnePlus party by getting myself the 7 Pro after being with Samsung since the S2 days.
I like the phone but there are a few issues I am having.
The main issue I am having is the Bluetooth Tethering. I need this for when I am in my car (Mercedes use this method for internet connectivity). I switch it on and try to connect but after a while it just tells me that the data connection is temporarily unavailable. My mobile data works fine so I'm assuming that isn't the issue. When I am parked on my drive and in range of my home WiFi and I try and connect the connection is successful. It is as if the phone is blocking the mobile data connection when accessing via bluetooth tethering. This wasn't an issue on my Note 9 using the same SIM.
Does anybody have a fix for this or are having similar issues? If this cannot work then it is a deal breaker for me and I'll be reluctantly returning the phone to Amazon.
On a side note I have even tried changing the dun status via ADB Shell after finding what was supposed fix online but it did not help.
Thanks
I am no Bluetooth expert, and it may not apply here, but there are a number of various Bluetooth settings that can be altered in the Developers setting. Maybe something there can help???
Hi Jaseman,
I shall look into that. Currently doing a full backup of the phone to my PC before doing a downgrade from Android 10 to 9. I'm hearing that 10 is buggy so I'm hoping that is the culprit.
Thank you for your reply.
