On custom ROMs you can force this on, but on official Lollipop you have to have approval from your carrier/have the right plan. Different countries, different carriers, I don't know what you have or what your carrier requires.

I'm trying to flash Sprints N920P with any international unbranded firmware. phone is rooted, TWRP already installed and OEM unlocked.
Tried to flash N920CXXU1AOI3_N920COXE1AOI3_SER with odin but failed.
could you please give me any advise? There should be a solution because its hardware is same for every region or carrier.

Not sure why you would want to do this. If you can get the phone unlocked then whats the point?

Hmm not sure about the theme store but you don't need to use an international rom. You can use a Sprint rom. Although all Note 5's are essentially the same (there might be some variants with differences), the kernel might be different for each. I would stick with the Sprint rom. Maybe try some of the roms posted in the development section to see if the theme store would work on those roms.

"DEVICE MODEL OPTIONS

CSC CARRIER/REGION OPTIONS

does that mean i can now change my unlocked "SM-N920P" "Sprint" to international "SM-N920I" wow.. that would be soooo cooollll!!!! :')

nope. i have flashed "sprint" custom rom!
Thing about sprint is...it has its own network. So unlocking it is not the same as tmobile and other networks. Example 1, sprint unlocked only works on sprinit network and other networks by sprint. Example 2, any other company, tmobile, verizion, unlocked can work with a different sim card, internationally. If you put a different sim card in the sprint phone it wont work for some reason, but any nonesprint phone it does if unlocked
This is not true. The N920P can be unlocked and used on domestic GSM carriers. I'm currently using the N920P on straight talk (ATT) with LTE on stock/rooted rom.
Hey insane howd you get 4g? On att?and are there any good roms for sprint note 5 with att

How you did it?
I used idoneapps for the unlock (works great, kudos to those guys) .You will have to make NV changes for LTE (directions are on this site). You also need two APN's (one with LTE as bearer). Network Mode needs to be GSM/WCDMA/LTE. Handcent with manual APN for MMS keeps from having to reboot nearly everytime you receive an MMS as well.
---------- Post added at 09:01 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:44 AM ----------
NV edits can be found http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=56577252&postcount=455 . You do not need the storage patch for this device, obviously.
Hi guys, when to flash custom rom on the 900F , 3g is lost and there is no line APN settings and select CDMA or GSM, CDMA only works without a 3g .... cant understand what was happening, there was a problem after updating to OK4 tried already ... about 10 ROMs ...
What service do you have?
Yes, which service provider? OK4 is for Sprint.
Yes I believe but if you have a different Carrier that what the rom is based off of, you need to fix you apn settings for your carrier. For example I have Virgin Mobile but I have a sprint Rom so I have to flash a Virgin Mobile apn fix through recovery

Everything was good , but after the last update it happens with all the ROMs from 900F
Have rooted the Moto G 2015 edition, installed “STOCK Motorola 6.0.1 ROM- OPTIMIZED” custom rom with Xposed module. Now I am not able to make voice calls in 4G. When i put a Jio sim (4G LTE sim with VOLTE), I'm not able to activate voice calls and sms. But Volte support is shown in the notification bar. Have enabled LTE in the settings also using the secret code. But while dialing 1977 for activating voice calls, the call won't connects and it hangs. And after 30 seconds, the network coverage will goes off and the call will stop without even connecting. Anyway to enable Volte support in this rooted device? Volte is working fine in Moto G3 with stock android.
Even though its stock but its not completely stock, that's why it doesn't support VoLte. Currently only VoLte working rom is pure stock and it also work even if you rooted.

You can access in any ROM but you will not be able to call and recuebe calls as volte is not present, for this issue you will need to install jio4gvoice app that will help you make calls even if it doesn't supports volte

I m talking with jio guys....they will check the sim card
We have not seen any ROM that is incompatible the Jio's data (ONLY) service, stock or aftermarket. This has been tested and verified by dozens of users on probably every custom ROM out there.
The VoLTE component of Jio's service only works on the pure stock Moto Marshmallow factory ROM.
If you cannot see Jio's service at all, there is either a problem with your handset or your SIM.

I got nothing... sorry... you are connected to the tower so from there it's a carrier thing.
I have only vague knowledge of the Jio service outside of what has been discussed here, but my general troubleshooting "guts" tells me your IMEI doesn't match your SIM (SIM and IMEI are mated on Jio, or were at one time). I would suggest contacting Jio support, or if they have a web interface to manage your account make sure your SIM is associated with the correct IMEI. (again, all speculation)

If you are calling from your phone it won't work... you are running Exodus ROM from your screen shot, and VoLTE (required for voice calls with Jio) only works on the stock Moto Marshmallow ROM, without that ROM voice calls do not work with Jio and that code (1977) will only work on Jio's service, meaning you can't call it from SIM2 or another carrier, etc.

No... I am sorry, but this topic with Jio has been beaten to death by dozens of people, the data service will work on any ROM, but the VoLTE service, the only voice service Jio offers, only works on the pure stock ROM.
We are fairly certain it is in the RIL (Radio Interface Layer) and it a proprietary format that Moto is using for VoLTE that is not in the CM device tree. I could go into some detail if you wish but I am no expert in this area, suffice it to say it doesn't work on any non-stock ROM, period. In theory it should work on the optimized stock ROM in the developer section, but it doesn't.
Probably 50+ users and a handful of devs here on XDA have tried to get it to work before you over the last few months, and the conclusion is always the same, it will only work on the stock ROM. Sorry.

I'm about to pull the trigger on buying the S7 and (thanks to this forum) have researched the (T-mobile) "carrier" version with SnapDragon processor vs. the International non-carrier version with Exynos processor. Seems like the latter is generally preferred, with 2 drawbacks:
1) Not compatible with T-Mobile's wifi calling;
2) No VOLTE
My only remaining questions are:
1) It seems as though with most unlocked / non-carrier smartphone models, custom ROMs are usually made available that enable carrier-specific features, but it seems like no such ROMs have yet been developed and widely circulated to enable T-Mobile's wifi calling or VOLTE. Is it typically just a matter of WHEN, rather than IF, such ROMs usually get into circulation? IOW, even though I'll be without those features on the Exynos S7 for now, can I buy the phone with confidence that in the not too distant future there SHOULD be a ROM to enable these? (Wifi calling is actually rather important to me since my gf's apt is a dead zone.)
2) Can someone ELI5 VOLTE to me? I'm still note entirely sure what it is / does, and want to evaluate how much I should care if my Exynos S7 doesn't support this...
Exynos does support volte. I am using it and it works fine.

Yep that's what I used. I did a clean install of the SuperMan rom and used CSC changer again...same issue, it hangs at Enabling. Even went back to stock rom and it does the same thing.
Finally, I installed the Note 7 OnTheEdge rom like you said and it appears to be working, I now see the wifi calling notification at the top left and I get the volte icon when i'm not connected to wifi. I wonder if anyone has been able to get it to work on other roms?

It works now. I do super man rom. Search that thread how to do it. You have to flash zto csc then boot then flash TMB csc. Then Switch a couple toggles.
